Brother ranger, always knew him as Bigfoot(always going to kick someone's ass), has family medical problem. Had my back more than once, so I got his.
He settled in the nw (swear to it), and now has a dispensary grow. Ask me come in for awhile. Working out of big greenhouses may change my questions, probably increase the number.
So leaven on a jet plane- wish me luck, taking a camera for the wild life. Peace

Hauling plants to outdoor grow in gator, talk about culture shock, talk around fire was about 4000+ grows and the heat going after 50 for their year. Several new patients and a sublimation process.

That's what I think to!! But around the fire, it has your lucky I'm here! Talk was, wonder what the O.G.(old guy) is worth? Joking said I would just hold the cup till it was decided, told to hold it hostage the day I left.
Back on the mountain, some have grow 2'. Few more have started blooming hard. Water seems to be the big thing, but still see some pruning and staking, and now pulling some over down away from glass.
Talked the crew into prospecting for gold in down time, have found 150'waterfall that looks like a natural slouch, ideas?
The last photo with the huge azz cola appears to be an indica ? Know you're having a cool field trip ha ha?!! Are you doing anything on your own or actually working for the dispensary? Peace

Took cola while I was home, trying it now-sweet taste, but seems a little lite. Gimme just aa little more time I think. Tent at home looks good, looking for a little longer there to, for density. Hope all is fine every where for everyone, duck I'm sounding like a hippie. This is a grow for a medical collective, owned by an old friend(sorry to say that mother passed).

Most know am back home, doc appt.and youngest daughters wedding,(went great and going great). Some probably saying what the. Man. But the gest is, bigfoot shows up here for the wedding a week early. Down side- he can really smoke allot but claims he could not keep up with Willy N., and he just crowns the bowl. Another ranger cleaned my ash tray yesterday!! Up side lots of info last couple of days if I can just recall it.

Took awhile but I gather, started in 99(when he found mine) with great white shark + NYC diesel + sour diesel + white widow + g.purps + kush. =
Each + is 2or3 years to cross, grow, choose, breed back to stabilize.
But looking at 250 of them before males, the old bell curve was there, and in the extremes I thought could see the old phenotypes, and I got to choose some of those just to see. So all from same seed, and most look the same--huge right now

Havest-tober. back to the farm to watch over harvest. Have gotten couple of numbers that look good for harvest so far.
Have some reports of mold from dripareas in greenhouse.
Ah, the nasty drip areas! Just when you think you know where they all are in your greenhouse, the earth/foundation will settle making things unlevel & wham! than nasty little drip moves! But why is it that when that happens, it has to move right over the seed flat that had your most expensive seeds for which you had the highest expectations! ?!?! Had that happen to me a few yrs back. Whole right half of grnhse was cannabis seedlings, most bag seed. One flat of seeds from a seed bank. Expensive. It had been windy enough to apparently shift the grnhse a little, enough to move the condensation drip to right over that particular seed flat. Mould & fungus killed the whole flat over night. Grrr!. Now I tent each seed flat with gauze. But a tree fell on my grnhse this spring. Oh well. It was visable from the road & couldn't grow past sm seedling stage anyway. I have a plan in mind for the next time I build a grnhse... special little channels for condensation to run along down to the four corners & unto the floor. I can deal with a minor disaster when there's something useful to learn from it. It makes me creative & inventive! :)

----sometimes the old phenotypes are good to breed back to, as long as they display desirable traits. I've done this to help stabilize traits I was starting to loose. Youll still be posting with us while you're gone right? You know we'll miss you if you don't, & we want pics!Quote:

Out on the mountain, the root problem issue is a hot topic. But this is a different world, was worried for all the wrong reasons, workers have stepped up more than congress!! And as people their amazing, saw a very cute thing play a drum-she made the thing talk, all I could say was when I look at a drum I wonder how much pot can it hold-she made it talk.
But the pot is amazing, first greenhouse gone(New per plant record), second bigger plants greenhouse to much mold but still very good. Outside using a galdarn truck to haul three or four plants back to the barn.

Took most before I left, I found knots in the stem of worst and on it lower buds were dead to the end, so only left 5 I thought to be clean still, and they where the biggest ones, but now I hear freeze talk.

From what I've been hearing, that could be a very interesting combination. I love diesel, & I've heard from experienced smokers that cheese is potent enough to knock your butt in the dirt, though I haven't been lucky enough to try it yet. I wonder if hybrid vigor would kick it into overdrive & make a plant way to big for my limited space. I know you'll have fun with it. Interested in hearing your evaluation. BTW, Easteban has been MIA going on 2wks. Harvest ttime can be scary. Should we be concerned?~~~~PEACE!~~~~~
CB been tracking that myself. This c/d is so pretty I might have to keep it just to look at. Kinda like some of these trimmers.
Hey Ranger, take a pic & you'll have it forever, even better, post a pic! :) I'd love to see that! I know you're busy catching up with friends & manning the harvest. Dont forget to take care of yourself, get plenty of sleep. Betcha stayed up all night the first night talking with friends, didn't ya? I'm guilty of that. Hard not to do. Hope you're eating healthier than me. I just got a new deep fryer, eating lots of delicious UNHEALTHY food! Damned I love grease! I'm a BAD cat! ( not bad in the good way! LOL)! So, are you posting us some greenhouse pics again?
----Finally got my camper pulled (pushed?) into the garage today. Now I'm so anxious to get my grow started, I may even start with some bag seed & whatever kind of potting soil I have in my potting bench. God I hope it's not miracle grow! I sometimes use it for heavy feeding flowering annuals, so it could very well be!

P.S. JUST RE-READ POST 21. KNOTS IN THE STEM WOULD INDICATE NEMATODE. If caused by bores, you would find a little hole & saw dust like when you use a drill.
Ok, done and done, came up short of 300 goal(275). Problems to work on spider mites, mold, and spacing. Was a great trip, lite my fire, great people(except Nevada).
People really think I should get a passport and see the world. I went to the mountain, and the world came to me. The Hungarians, the Italians, the Hawaiians, the Armenians, the boys from Colorado and Boise,and the locals did a great job. The old man was the only crazy one, work got done. Good food, great smoke, European women, all good things.

Reading your posts really makes me want to relocate. I'd love to be involved in something like that. Md has MMJ laws in place, they suck! I don't see them improving untill I'm nolonger physically able to do MMJ grows either. At one time, I was young & healthy & was doing 600 plants outdoors in a stretch of woods 2 miles at its narrowest &8 miles long, plus my indoor grow in a 9X12 room that only had down time in the hotter part of the summer. I really miss 'the farm'.

Pics on the way, but need the big computer for that, so for now a only in Humboldt story. Two of the Hawaii's and I are headed to a satellite grow on other ground. In the mountains a short drive seems long to me. We pass two semis, one obviously backed up to look out, but both left in a hurry. Now we have permission, so we stop at friends(next house) and what's up?
We go back, and it turns out, a local was been popped(two weeks till harvest done), so he cleans up and dumps it over the cliff. We are looking at what looks like a river of bud flowing down the side of the mountain. The skateboarder does about four parkur jumps and is standing in it, picks up a double hand full and takes thirty minutes to climb out with it. We take off to check our own, but returning meet the neighbors. Their old pickup looks like a covered wagon made out of bud.
Like I said only in Humboldt.
Since I was 16 yrs old, I've wanted to run away & join a hippie commune in Humboldt county. Over the years, I've wondered if its changed, so you post this story...... Is it too late for me?

The thing I like about there, is everything, people-I did not feel old, and people smiled. In fact the crowd made me feel young, like anything is possible.
Plus you don't see many people, not expected. But them rascal helicopters will make you look.
Got to say though, an old white bearded, camo dressed guy with a fishing pole or a gold pan doesn't attract much attention.:jointsmile:
Do you live far from Humboldt? Sounds like paradise to me. I can imagine living in a biosphere full of cannabis & edibles, surrounded by a hedge of more cannabis! Ah... if not a biosphere, atleast an old fashioned cabin with a greenhouse! :) ~~~ PEACE! ~~~

That's still not close considering I'm on the opposite end of the country. (Md. at the head of the Chesapeake bay). Always felt I belonged in northern Cali, or Oregon. Was only there once in an 18 wheeler with my truck driving husband (ex), I was 24 & have missed it every day of my life since. Should have moved there before I had to go on disability, now I'm stuck here. Thought it was the most beautiful place in the world. Driving through the vineyards took my breath away! :) :) :)
