DVLA cannabis test, how long will i need to be clean to pass it safely?

I quit on the 4th november. Guy fawks night..

I am 4 months and 10 days clean of marijuanna, and i intend to make it 5 months. I was a chronic smoker for a year.

Do you think i will pass if i took it today? I am 6 foot 185lbs. It is a Urine test

I have passed home drug tests with first wizz of the day.

Please dont be shy to share your thoughts and experiences!

Instead of relying on others guesswork (which are almost always off the mark), why not pick up a home THC test kit and test yourself so you know for sure where you stand?

If you take consistent tests at home using your first void, you should be good to pass. Though don't use the first void on your actual test.

you can get THC tests at the dollar store around here

Im already passing the home drug tests with the first wizz of the day. I thought i made that clear. What i would like to know is if anyone thinks i should wait after 5 months of abstaining?

Wait for what? Youve said youve been passing all of your home tests with the first urination. If what youre saying is indeed true, youre good to go.

So... you're peeing with a pass on your first void, but you want to know how long until you will be safe? /confused

I will make this more simple for everyone. I have been on google and seen people pass a home urine test after 2 weeks despite smoking for months and years everyday. I assume then that they are not very reliable.

Anyway im going to order 1 more batch of Home tests right now from ebay.

The reason i ask how long until i will be safe is because I can only take these dvla tests once every 6 months you see. Which is why i am tense. Still confused?

Btw i know most cut off levels for home urine tests are 50 NG.

But i found this one : This test can detect and identify traces of up to 10 gms drugs in the persons urine.

Is this a good thing?

i think logic dictates if you can pass the more stringent test you should be fine with official cut off levels. sounds like you should be fine at 5 months.

Why would you assume that? Home test kits function on the same principle as the assays the labs use for the initial screening. Obviously, the labs still find them reliable enough to merit continued use.

Youre thinking of the GC/MS. No big deal here. By utilizing the Forum Search button, using the terms "functionally equivalent metabolites", you'll discover why the GC/MS tests at a numerically lower cutoff threshold than the I/A screen, and that the two types of tests are functionally equivalent.

I ordered my last batch of urine tests. So do you guys think i will pass?

the real thing i mean =) Going to book it for the end of the month

I'm a very heavy user & have been for 45 years. Everyday, all day long use. After quitting 1 month I was completely clear. Marijuana doesn't stay in your system as long as some people think.

It all depends on the person. Each persons body is different.
What may have worked for you may not work on someone else. Only periodic testing with

A person who smokes one a week would have up to 10 days and so on. So the more often you smoke weed, the more time you will take for the THC to become undetectable in your drug test. So, let us say that you are a regular smoker of weed and have waited for 45-90 days to clear the test, if you smoke weed again after the test is done, you will again have to wait for 45-90 days! So the lesser you smoke, the better it is.

ask as many peopel as u want, no one knows what your body is going to do. but if u havent been smoking for 5 months and ur passing drug tests, what exactly is the question

I am showing negative on all my new home drug tests, so i booked a appointment to pee on wednesday the 27th. I will be 4 months and 22 days clean, i hope its going to be ok. Just to make sure i have been weight lifting, and im going to excersise until saturday night, just to burn more thc. And give myself 3 days of rest to empty my system.

You are going to be fine. You've been testing negative so far, and you are going to be roughly 142 days drug free. There should be no reason for you to fail.
