Ants always take my seeds
lmfao!! that's the funniest thin i've heard all day! i have never had that problem. i have had ants on a flowering female before though. right on the buds. i thought they may be harvesting the tricomes, hahah. maybe the ants wanted to grow their own, hahah. well maybe you could cut the top and bottom off of a coke bottle, so you have a plastic tube, and stick it half way out and half way in the soil....i don't know. or start them in pots until they're a little stronger. i don't think that the ants will do anything then.

I agree with Dylan on all accounts - including the real funny part. Never heard of that before, but if you've problems keeping the seeds, use a pot and keep it out of harms way till the plant has sprouted.

get a bottle cut the bottom off. place round the seed. also helps with humidity :) they wud have to be pretty desp to carry the seed over that lol
option 2, hook the ants up with a gd seeds company, problem sorted :)
Ants always take my seeds
really! im serious! they took all of them! they dug them out! i even put them in pots! thanks for the suggestion guys.. i'll try another.... my third try :( also im thinking of using those ant chalks.. but really??! youre not having problems with ants?!

spray a big circle around your seed hole / seed respositary with a strong insecticide. Make a barrier and they wont cross it. After a rain or water, reapply.
BTW....how many ants does it take to carry away one seed?
Ants always take my seeds
grow them indoors for the first two weeks.
HEY, maybe there the government's ants...........
Ants always take my seeds
LMFAO!! :))))) I cracked up just thinking about these ants running off with ur seeds
Ants always take my seeds
smash open their ant hill and unload on em with WD-40
Ants always take my seeds
the "tom and jerry" ants ? lol
Ants always take my seeds
put the seeds in a pot outdoors.
use a tray an inch full of water.
sit a brick in the middle of the tray, so that the top of the brick is above the water line.
sit the pot with seed/s on the brick.
Ants cant frigging swim!!!!!
You should avoid insecticide, as you will be smoking/ eating your buds, and you can get very sick.
I have observed ants scammin round my seeds. I suspect they remove lighter, hollow seeds because of their high protein. They seem to leave my bigger blacker seeds because they are too heavy to carry. So make sure the seeds you use are of the best quality.
I've never had a major problem with them. The bastards do like herding aphids and scale up into my plants (usually in their second season ) but the slight damage they do seems to stress my 'girls' nicely, improving the resin content.
sinking pots in the ground can help, as Ive observed the sun hitting black plastic pots provides enough heat to attract ants (and during a hot summer that heat will roast the root system)
I bin growin outdoors for a while now and this works for me
hope this helps

HAHAHAAHAHA those damn ants... hahaha thats one funny story man...
those ants are trying to steal your plants so they can get high, bastards!
plant in pots, for the first 2 or 3 weeks, then transplant them
