They look as if theyve been partially eaten, but also just looks unhealthy in general. i suggest u look up some basic grow info on the internet. But besides that all they need is a little TLC, light, and some water.
I heard that topping the plant may deform the first set of leaves after the cut. Deformed leaves or not it looks like Dark bluish green leaves with purple stems. Indica perhaps. anybody know what strain carries these characteristics. And very bushy! Nice plant man.
Thanks guys for your help. I guess nobody else knows or they are haters on newbies.
Get a magnifying glass and look for bugs.
I studied that plant with a magnify glass. I didnt see any bugs. Would they be pretty visible with a magnify glass?
I'd try repotting as well. The bugs don't always go on the leaves. The pot maybe too small as well, but I can't see it from the pics. As long as it's the bottom leaves going a bit wrong, and there's new good growth you should be ok.
Yes 99.9% of the time you would see then with a magnifying glass. Use good light and plenty of air movement and give it time and watch them is all I can say.
Good luck to you
Thanks for the help guys. I was reading in a forum about WATER CLONING. Have you ever heard of that method? I'm going to try it, worked for my mom with her plants in the window seal.
Aero-Cloner build one or get one on eBay
aero cloner huh i will look thanks
I heard its possible to root a clone and not use a bubbler or nutrients. Just tap water and a clone suspented over the water with 1 inch submerged. any experience?
ya dialtone thats what im talking about WATER CLONING. Sorry no experiences I want to try it though.
get some root tone , cut the clone "you need about 3 inches" dip it in water then the root tone, poke a hole in your soil n stick it in till just some of the root tone is above the soil, then i sit mine on a heating pad n wait .its been working for me .others dont like this method. good luck
No Soil. That's old school. I want my plants like arnold. Large, you little girly man. <Insert your best arnold accent.
Try overgrow.com they seem to have more posts. F all that i want more pics of these alleged deformed leaves brotha. Jesuth Crystht<insert gay accent. Show em skipper show em that friggen bad motha (shut your mouth). sorry my meds!! Its a two headed, puple stemmed, stinkyskicky, bushy bitch named Blowjob Betty. Yall better Recognize!!
There are 2 types most people will make them selfâ??s. One is just a bubbler and uses aquarium air stones and air pump. The idea is for the bubbles to rise and pop raising the humidity and feeding the stems that hang above the water when the bubbles reach the top and they do.
The second one is a little more detailed but has a greater success rate over all. It's a true Aeroponics sprinkler system. You build a sprinkler system out of PVC pipe and use a power head and drip sprinklers to spray the underside of the lid with water (you drill out the inside of the drip sprinkler you do not want a limiter.). You do need to seal the tank to keep it from leaking. It's harder to build a good one. If you do it does work better then anything else. You do feed them with a very week nutrient mix I use the GH 3 part w/B-1 and have great success like 98.5% from the last 500 clones I took to give out this year alone. Only 70 at a time but I keep them going year round.
Light for clones I prefer fluorescents. The like the 125w Cool bulbs (6500k) with just a bat wing and Mylar on the walls. The Lights of America 65w security light they sell at HD works well too. You just get more light with the 125w bulb from the hydro store.
Thanks Zandor, I'm not growing that much but the next time i clone I will try that sprinkler method. I recently planted my clones into the system, there doing pretty good I guess. Anyways I made a cabinet, and I'm having problems keeping it cool. I'm thinking that I just need to put an A/C unit on the side of it. Do you have any sugestions. Thanks and happy SMOKING
whoever gave u that plant wasnt a good mate
Why do u say that professer? I think its pretty, it smells great and is growing like a champ. I recently transplanted it into a larger pot. I'm using a bubbler system now, Do you think that will work? (soil to hydro)
Oh come on professor, why did you say that and then dont give any reasons why. Thats not right man
I'm that mate! Well not mate that designates were partners. not. Homies is more like it. Anyway, the whole story goes like this. My cousins smoke hella buds, right. They got some purple nurple sticky bomb, right. They then threw the seeds randomly in the yard next to the washing machine and one in a ceramic pot. 3 grew randomly in the dirt, they wanted to live. The potted one didn't. Only the strong survive. Transplanted to a 5 gallon bucket the three grew outdoors during the day and brought in and placed bedside with the lights off. They were called betty, purple nurple, and bitch. Bitch was the smallest and went hermaphidite. Pollinating the one side of Betty and purple nurple. Anyway, 3 oz of bomb. I passed out at noon sometimes. Betty and nurple had 10-15 arms each about 12" each arm.And a beautiful fat ass center cola. 12" long. Betty was 27" and nurple was 24". The fan leaves were huge and with 8 set leaves. The plants were so bushy you couldnt see through them. afterwards. i found that pot chillin in their yard and they informed me that a baby just sprung up and i could have it. But they hadn't put seeds in there since they got puple nurple sticky bomb. So the Seed hadn't germinated, due to lack of water. It had rained for three days strait the week before. Germinating the seed. So i then raised it to 7 inches and sexed the plant. Female!!! After this i fimed it. 80%. It immediatly went 2 headed beast on me. From then on it was betty 2. I then got pskipper involved. He was amazed at how the plant smelled even in veg mode. Stinky. at 12" we cut clones and made five rockwool goddesses. We then made betty 2 hydro status. By removing the bottom of its soil container and placing a net around the bottom. then getting a trashcan and filling it with lava rocks. Also adding a water spout for draining and tube with elbow for reading water levels. Chillin at 16 inches now with two heads with 400w hps. Come on maaan. I love this stuff! Im obsessed now. All because of this web site. wow.
Those leaves are just jacked becuase of the fiming. or topping whatever. All other leaves are ok. One is 4" by 1.5 inches each finger. fat and overlapping.
when did you "cap" or "pinch" the top...at what week?
Im guessin just before the end of veg or half way into veg?
mind you mine are outdoor,
hmmmm
I didnt really follow a time frame with the cut. It was about 8 inches tall and right between the 6th and 7th set of leaves. Betty 2 was started outside. I looked last night and it seems as if the plant hasnt even grown taller below the cut. Its 7 inches then it makes a Y. But the two heads are 10"inches now from the Y and branching like crazy. So 17" in all, still in veg and getting bushier and the stem is getting thick like a finger. You want pics? Here you go!
Ok new question. I looked at my plants this morning and I saw little yellow spots forming on the bottoms of the plants. I changed the nutrients out and put fresh ones in. I was thinking that I must of mixed the nutrients wrong. What do you guys think.
I found a hole in one of my leaves too and the only bugs I found in the growroom were a couple of flies. maybe they were eating on it and secreted thier acid to digest food and it got on the leaves.

I know exactly your problem bro. You are using General Hydroponics 3part nutrients. This system lacks Magniesium and calcium. Calmag or 1/4th tsp/gal epson salt will remedy this. As per overgrow.com. anyway. Overwatering is also a factor that cannot be overlooked. An NFT system such as yours that usually runs on a 78gph pump that was changed to a 250gph pump can overfill a resevoir that is clogged by huge bud plant roots and has water retention. Meaning that more water is pumped in than out per sec. Keeping the waterlevel higher than necessary. Its a film technique right. Not Nutrient Flood Technique. If Im wrong sombody please tell me. Hey Zandor!! Could you give your 2cents. Or Lama man 666
