I treat everyone with respect, which coincides with how I want to be treated by others. However, those who are disrespectful to me receive the same treatment in return. :) :thumbsup:

I used to be like Microwave and return rudeness or disrespect and then, like you, painretreat, I decided I wasn't going to waste the time nor energy to get angry because as you pointed out, it's a way of letting "them", control you. If they "make" you angry, then they're controlling you. Rise above the pettiness and repay disrespect with respect, not only does it usually freak 'em out, but a lot of times it makes them see or realize their immaturity. Then they wanna be friends and find out how you do it. :)
After they find out I've been a martial artist for many years, since I was a teen, (I usually don't tell anyone) and when I get the opportunity to teach them a thing or two about themselves and how to better be in real control of yourself, instead of simply believing yourself to be in control when really you're not. The philosophy of peace and working together in unity almost always accomplishes more than the individual by themselves. :thumbsup:

As a rule I just try to be kind to everyone, with disregard as to whether or not they deserve it. It's much easier on me not to waste my time discerning who deserves my respect or not.. The most respectful thing I can do for myself is to just be nice to everybody and ignore them if they don't return the favor. :D
I'm actually quite the turnaround, though. In my teenage years I was a very angry bitch and I was proud of it. Maybe I just tired myself out, and that's why I'm so mild-mannered now. :rolleyes:
Don't let stupid people live rent free in your head. Getting into it with assholes just wastes valuable time that could be spent in an asshole free zone.
I treat other people just the same way I would like to be treated. Life always gives back what we give to others.

I am with microwave. Dont get me wrong but I love haters in general. I do not believe in karma. It takes strength to respect others let alone not to judge. Somehow haters suffer same way as we good people suffer. What a weird world we live in ...in similar manner as casmir effect
hello. i treat everyone with cautious optimism. my vibe is i want to like you, and i will send that out to the universe; but sometimes i encounter strangers really flipped, whom have taken me by surprise. these individuals are really hell bent from personal motives that do not include me, but because i share their space- i am consequentially included. for that reason i am now more cautious than in my youth.:)

I try to treat everyone as nice and respectful as possible. The marijuana helps me be in a happy mood, so I'm usually smiling and happy and treat others nicely(unless they show that they do not deserve such treatment). If I see someone in need, I try to be nice and help as much as possible.
I just try to spread the peace and love :hippy:. Give people some hope in humanity.
