alrighty..dumb ass question: what the hells up with the nasty headrush i get from massive bong rips?? i've been toking for a few years now and haven't experienced anything like this until recently. just last month i noticed if i took a massive hit, it felt like i was gunna die. my head felt like it was exploding and i ran off and vomitted. anyone else have this problem?? talked to my stoner-friends about it but they had no idea..thanks! :o
Three possibilities:
Shitty weed
Too much smoke, not enough oxygen to the brain
Moldy weed
I know that when i smoke schwagg that is what happens to me, but when I load Kind it also hurts but the high is much better, so try to smoke better weed.

Im cool now but I still get that headachy feeling a lot from smoking mad bong rips - one of the reasons I like blunts. They get me higher (although I usually put a gram or so in a blunt whereas i put maybe a half g in a bowl) and I just get a mellow body buzz instead of that intense shit.
Then again before spring break I came up on some REAL blueberry and nothing beats throwing some ice and cold ass water in the water pipe and blazing a bowl of that... hell, even 2 hits, me and my brother did that and were both off our fuckin rocker for about 3 hours.
Ive also noticed that with massive ass rips that tends to happen. My theory is the more you cough, the more head/neck ache you're gonna get, for one thing if you think about how violently you throw your head and body around when you're coughing insanely after a huge rip, that right there is gonna agitate your body. Best thing - get some FREEZING water, it feels better on the lungs, you can take sizable hits and you're less likely to cough your God damn ass off. Shit, get your cat or dog high while you're at it, you may as well have fun with that cuz it's like 2 people (or one person and a cat, whatever) get high and have good times for the price of one... yeah i'm all blunted right now so i'm just rambling on these tangents, blah blah blah but y'all know how that goes.....

Think on this:If you are puking, you more than likely have inhaled the smoke into your digestive track. You are better off taking a smaller hit, and expanding your lungs while you hold it. This does two things- the first being the opening of the bronchea in the lower recesses of the lung. Second, it allows the THC to cling onto the virgin territory (gets you higher on less hits without puking).
Something else you might want to try is rebreathing your hit. I know it sounds strange. Take a good hit, but nothing that will make you fuggin' puke!!! Hold it. Then exhale a third and take another breath. This will also open up your lungs little more, while you're absorbing all the thc from the smoke rolling in your lungs. Repeat this until the smoke is gone.
This is a great way to keep from having to constantly hit that dirt weed that might also be causing you grief, but it is a great way to conserve the good buds too. Do it while the smoke is being passed around and the by the time it gets back you should be ready...to do it again.
Or keep power hitting and puke...but puking is never on my top ten things to do when I am baked. :D
I agree with withoutaname about trying to rebreath your hit. It sounds weird, but it does work. I had to learn how to do it when I was young and kept coughing out and felt like I was either going to puke or die. And dirt weed is never worth it.
make sure u always use clean water too as it will make u puke if u dont also dont be so greedy take smaller n more hits gives u the same buzz without pukin.

Ya, the rebreathing shit should work fine. I'd suggest just smaller hits though, and hold em longer. You could aslo maybe have some laced shit, or just shittyweed in general. Have you tried a different method with the smae weed?

The best advice I have for you comes straight from my grandmother...make little coughs, instead of big, stomach-churning ones. Its kinda hard to explain, but instead of full-out coughing, try making small, throat-clearing microcoughs. Also drink some cool water, it helps to soothe your spasming throat muscles.
Btw, if you're taking rips this big, you should be smoking parachutes...they make you cough like this every damn time until you get used to it. Message me if you want a decent blueprint for making one.
