Going to sub tomorrow almost for sure, will take any advice you guys have to offer

I'm a large guy, (6'5" 230, some muscle some bf)
Start job, find out I need to take drug test (when it didn't look like I was gonna have to get one at all.) Got out of it for today, but I'll have it tomorrow. Been smoking pretty much errday since the 4th of July, sometimes not too much, sometimes a lot. Pounded 2 Detoxify Ready Cleans and lots of water when I thought I'd be tested today, and I still have one bottle left. Researched and discovered subbing will be the way to go with no time for creatinine supplementation, so I'll be heading to a head shop that I called and found out they have synthetic at very soon.

Any advice for getting this done, or am I wrong about any assumption here? Test is a 5-panel at Quest Labs.

Hey man, I just passed a drug test using the Dilution method described by a user on this forum referred to as "N2" I have to give him a huge shout out because it absolutely worked. I'll re-post his remedy here, then let you know what minor tweaks I performed:

DILUTION: tips, tricks and guidelines

DILUTION: aka WATER LOADING
FOR BEST RESULTS ABSTAIN FOR A BARE MINIMUM OF 48 HOURS BEFORE THE TEST AND THE LONGER, OF COURSE, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES.

Time permitting, 2-3 days before the test you will want to begin raising you Creatinine levels. Creatine, which metabolizes into Creatinine in 24-48 hours, can be raised with red meat and/or Creatine supplement, available on line or at nutritional food stores. The amounts of Creatinine metabolites are measured as part of the urine integrity check (the check to see if the sample is urine and if it is diluted). Creatinine level must be 20mg/dl or greater. 200-250mg/dl ranges are ‘my’ normal.


Step 1. 4-12 hours before the test take 4 aspirin (not Tylenol or Advil). This step may be repeated every 4-6 hours up until 4 hours before the test.
Step 2. 3-4 hours before your test, start by drinking 2, 8oz. glasses of water. Water can be substituted for with Cranberry or fruit juice, teas or even soft drinks. Then drink another 8oz. every 15 minutes for the next hour for a total of 6 glasses of water (48oz).
Step 3. In about 1 - 2 hours (depending on your system) you should be voiding ‘clear’ urine about every 15 - 20 minutes. Continue to drink 3-4 oz. more water to replace what you've voided every 20-30 minutes.
Step 4. 1-2 hours before the test, take vitamin B2 or B complex (about 10 times the daily recommended dosage). If the vitamins are time release, crush them before taking. You may also take vitamin B with each glass of water, 2 times the daily dosage, if you find it easier.

That's it. Within 30 - 45 minutes of taking your vitamins, if you took your vitamin B in 1 dose, your pee should turn from clear to "vitamin" yellow and remain so for the next 2-4 voids. Be sure you have voided diluted urine at least 3-4 times before you test. It is always best to do a practice run as everyone is different and times may vary. Good luck, remember to post your results, and don’t forget that a diluted results, while not the results wanted, IS NOT a failed results but may require a re-test. PS There is no absolutely 100% effective dilution method. That includes ‘detox’, ‘xxx carbo’ or ‘super flush’ magic potions. But these guidelines will, IMHO, work as well as ANY magic potion, better than many magic potions and you got it here for FREE$$$$$$$

Now for my minor tweaks:

I had already purchased Detox's "Green Clean" package at a local shop for about $27 bucks. I also purchased the "Pre-Cleanse" packets that they recommend to take 48 hours before your "Cleanse." The pre-cleanse pills basically contain the Creatinine mentioned in N2's post. I followed the instructions and took the 6 pills, once per hour with 16oz of water. I did this for two days. Then, as instructed above, I took the 4 aspirin about 12 hours prior to my (9am) test. I woke up about 3 hours prior to my test and (instead of the two 8 oz glasses of liquid mentioned) took my two bottles of liquid in the Green Clean pack. I had already crushed up about 10 B complex vitamins and had put the powder in a 32oz bottle of water. I then chugged most of the bottle (almost puked) and went back to sleep until the pee urge woke me. All total, I pissed 5 times before the test. I came up clean.

Now would be a good time to mention that I am 210, 6'tall and smoked pod every day up till 22 days prior to this test. I definitely think the abstinence helped me, but I was not about to take the chance. Now I have a great new job!! Thanks!!

I'm probably just being over paranoid for a simple 5 panel test, but would anyone think it would be a good idea to pee in the cup and dump it before using the QF so that it smells more like pee? Go ahead and call me stupid, there's a good chance it's warranted.

Nobody here will call you any inflammatory names because it is against the Board Rules to do so. Doing so will result in infractions being issued, and/or banning.
Urinating in the cup and dumping it is not a good idea. You do not need to worry about smell because a lack of odor can be exhibited in human samples too.

Just follow the instructions sheet that came with the QF.

LabCorp follows protocol so you will be fine as long as the temp is within range.

Still nothin, did it Tuesday morning without a hitch (held it between my legs for like 2.5 hours for nothing, didn't even check my pockets at Quest). I'm pretty much in the clear, as expected. Woot, getting more for backup, this is an awesome job in every other way (and they need to drug test for gov contracts, not even really their fault)

If anyone still cares, I'm definitely in the clear. Even got paid today (which RULES)

Random question, if you decided to sub with donor and then the donor was told they had to do a test themselves in a few weeks would both of you be caught if it was at the same lab? Someone posed this question to me and I wanted to say no because I thought that would require an expensive DNA test. It seems like a really far fetched situation like a women's urine for a man coming up pregnant.

cause even though this is from 1996 I read this. I was under the impression though that no matter what it is illegal to do those type of tests on a drug test since that is not what they are for, but do they build a data base to see if two people tested for the same urine? If the test is employment-related, labs practicing in the US are prohibited from performing any type of genetic testing on urine samples collected for a drug test unless authorization is granted by the donor on an entirely seperate and detailed consent form. But dont expect such a form from your employer, for that employees are protected from genetic profiling under the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA) in which was first signed into law in 2005 by then-President Bush and revised in 2008. Labs are only allowed to perform the validity tests outlined by the US Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) and must apply the criteria for a "substituted" specimen mandated by the DHHS.

With that being stated, any human sample will work as a sub as long as the sub donor is indeed drug-free and not overhydrated prior to giving you the sample.
