Some places ask for ID if you look young and like you're going to abuse cough syrup. ((Judgemental, I know. But realistic.)) Also buying more then one bottle is likely to rouse suspicion.
I buy it from hy vee.
I've gone into stores at bought 3 bottles at a time. What the fuck are they gonna do?Call the cough syrup police
Bwahahaha. The cough syrup police.
Buy like 3 bottles of tussin,a pack of condoms, some tampons, aloe vera lotion,a cucumber,a gun magazine and a snickers bar. Then the tussin won't look so fuckin silly then, will it?
hahha silly tussin and tussin police
No the cough syrup police wont get you DEA will. If you've ever noticed in most Wal*Marts there is a little sign above the cough syrup that strictly says that DEA is starting to watch the sales of DXM containing medicines and if you are caught abusing it you could end up in jail, a psyc. ward, and pay some heavy fines. Just dont give them reason to bust your ass and they will leave you to your business. Do you really need 3 bottles of tussin max strength? If somebody else wants to trip, Make them buy it so DEA doesn't suspect you of abusing cough syrup. Shit all i need is an 8 oz. bottle of regular tussin a month and i am good. Peace
I don't get how you would get caught. They'd have to call the police and by that time you'd be long gone. There's no way of really tracking me, as I pay in cash only.Quote:

all purchases are still recorded in the store's main computer, if you don't believe me buy a bunch of cough syrup at one time and see if after awhile you don't have to answer to DEA. Good Luck with that Peace
go to eckerd if you can find one and get a bottle or two of the robo liquidgels (they still have them), and then go to walmart or something and buy a bottle of cough syrup or whatev...go to different stores
punk it, dont buy it. Watse of money, but an amazing high... punk some sucrets.
The worst that could happen is they'd refuse to sell it to you... if the person acted suspicious then picked up the phone, I'd be out of there so fast :eek:Quote:

As for stealing it, if you repeatedly stole the same kind of cough syrup, they'd catch on to that and either put a security device in it, watch it more closely, or even get a better camera angle on the cough syrup if they don't have one already. It's not like it's THAT expensive anyway. Costs me $10 for 2 4 ounce bottles of a generic copy of robitussin max strength cough.
If you're that worried, just buy one bottle in one store, and another bottle in another store. Even my dumpsquat little shitstain assclown town has two drugstores.
damn i thought my hometown was awful...but yeah like he said, buy at different stores...
Dude, that is a fucking joke. You are the most paranoid person on these boards. You honestly think the DEA gives a fuck if some young kid buys a bunch of DXM.Are you thinking of psuedo-ephedrine?.......Geeker.Quote:

The DEA can monitor my cash transactions as much as they like, but I'd like to know what the fuck they're going to do about it. Seriously, the only info recorded at a cash sale:
- One bottle of cough syrup, sold.
So are you trying to tell me that somehow they can tell the difference between you buying thirty bottles over a month's time, and thirty people buying thirty individual bottles over that same time period? And even beyond that, is the DEA going to sit around and watch the store camera footage, scouting out for who's been using cough syrup?
And then they're going to use face recognition software (which doesn't even work, especially off those craptastic WalMart cameras) to ID you, and then they're going to stake out your house, and spent hundreds of thousands of dollars investigating you.
All to find out that I have respitory tract problems and use cough syrup a lot? That is total and complete horseshit.
The sign is there for the same reason law enforcement puts up signs everywhere; to scare you. And by the looks of this thread, some people bought into it.
The DEA isn't interested in you. They go after big time growers and dealers, unless you're dumb enough to do something so blatent that nailing you to the wall was just as easy as looking the other way. There's only 3000 or so DEA agents nationwide; not a bunch. Hell.. the ones in Arizona can't even spell shit on their own website correctly. Those guys are jokers.
Jokers that I'm always on guard for, but there's a fine line between respecting a legitimate and rational concern (like making sure if you're growing weed to practice light and smell control), and thinking that the CIA is going to do a hit on you because you bought some tussin.
Lol i get it from wal-mart, but my grandma buys it? Lol w00t! DXM!
I recently just started buying DXM weekly, at least......for the past 2 weeks I have. I went in last Friday and bought a bottle of Tussin Maximum Strength Cough (15 MGs DXM yada yada yada), and when I went up there, I started coughing really bad. It actually sounded genuine because it was, I actually have a really bad cough I got from my brother. I just don't need cough syrup for it because it only comes once a day or so, but when it does, my throat gets sore as CRAP.
Anyway, back to the story. I started coughing and stuff and when I got to the register the lady even said, "Phew, that's a bad cough. This stuff works for me, hope it gets you better." XD
Went back last night and did the same thing, but it wasn't really needed, a teen was working the register (one I used to know vaguely).

so when it comes down to it...fuck the cough syrup police
