What's happening people?? I need urgent help I'm sick with worry!

I am now 88 days clean I've been smoking for years but I got a job in Australia and I'm doing the DIY DRUG SCREENS and all the other drugs are showing up negative with a clear line but the THC one is barely visible!! Can any 1 tel me honestly will the lab pick up on this? I can delay the test

On multi-panel assays, the THC line is almost always more faint than the other panels. A faint line is still a negative.

A lot of people have written in the forum that they still fail so I'm still worried??
I postponed the medical until next Friday just to be sure I mean surely it can't take much longer I haven't touched the stuff and I'm not really overweight I don't go to the gym or anything but I'm

If you have been clean for 88 days there is no way you will fail my friend. The THC isn't stored in the body much more than 30 days. If you are concerned then take diuretics the day before the test and drink 8 quarts of water to flush your system. But really you will be fine.

Uhh, there have been quite a few instances of heavy smokers taking 90 days or longer to finally test negative. It all depends on the persons level of physical activity, metabolic rate, frequency of useage and many other factors.

Diuretics may make you urinate frequently, but they do nothing to rid the body of THC. And THC is fat soluble and NOT water soluble. Therefore you cannot "flush" or wash THC from the fat cells like you can wash dirt from a car. Doesnt work that way (more on that in a moment).

THC is stored in the fat cells and remain there until the fat cells are burned for energy. When fat cells burn, the THC metabolites are released back into the bloodstream, filtered by the kidneys, and are deposited into the bladder for the eventual exit. The rate in which the THC metbolites are filtered from the bloodstream by the kidneys is unaffected by copius water consumption.

The purpose of drinking fluids is to temporarily dilute the THCA concentration that is present in the bladder. You are NOT eliminating THC this way, but rather youre "thinning-out" the THCA concentration in the hoping that the urine sample would register below the cutoff thresholds of a drug screen. As stated, this dilution phenomena is only temporary - once the fluids ingested had all been urinated out, the bladder is replenished with fresh THCA-laden urine by the kidneys and thus the donor would resume testing positive for THC.

There is nothing that can permanently rid the body of THC, other than time and fat-burning exercise.

Yeah I read all that stuff I know water does not flush it out that's for sure and dilution would be no harm at all ill do that but it will be 96 days when I'm doing the medical if I fail I'm gonna lose my mind ha that's just unbelievable

Dilution

Dilution is probably the most common way to ‘cheat’ a drug test. Simply put, you drink a bunch of water and dilute the hell out of your urine. It works like this; say the cutoff for the test is 50 ng/mL, and you’re currently testing at 75 ng/mL (there is no way for you to know exactly where you are, I’m just using these as an example), normally you’d fail. But if you’re pushing twice as much water through your system, suddenly you’re down to 35-40 ng/mL, and you pass. It’s just that easy… or is it?

The exact amount of water you need to drink varies. Don’t go overboard and drink gallon upon gallon of water an hour before your test, as you can develop Water Poisoning if you drink too much. Drinking around 8 glasses the morning before you go in should be enough, but a general rule of thumb is to drink until you’re pissing clear (and running to the bathroom pretty frequently), and maintaining that level by continuing to steadily drinking water right up till you go in the door of the testing facility.

There really is no need to drink enormous amounts of water for the days prior to your test. Since the water you drink that far in advance is already well out of your system by the time you actually go in, it really won’t be much to help you. Just drinking your normal 8 glasses a day should be plenty.

Not Getting Caught

Urine that has been diluted heavily will be visibly paler than normal, which is suspicious, and may be tested for Specific Gravity to check the levels of other common components of human urine and determine if it has been diluted. The easiest way to combat this is to take B vitamins (B2 (Riboflavin) and B12 are considered the best), which will bring the color back to your pee. Try to take between 50 and 100 milligrams the morning before you go in. You can also buy creatine (Red meat is a very good source as well), because some testing facilities do specific gravity tests on all samples, regardless of color. Start eating more red meat or taking your creatine pills a few days in advance of the test, 3-4 days or so, if you have enough notice. If you don't have that much notice, look for a product containing Creatine Monohydrate, which processes through the body faster than naturally acquired creatine.

As I mentioned above, the at-home tests can be useful when you’re diluting, because you can test yourself as you’re getting ready and know when you’re good. It beats the hell out of drinking a gallon of water and still wondering if it was enough....

....this is virtually dated info. Specimen integrity checks have become SOP in recent years at all labs, rendering sample color the least aspect in determining an overly-diluted sample. Even samples with a nice yellow color to them can still have unsatisfactory S/G and creatinine levels.

If youre going to hang around the DT forums, please leave the outdated/inaccurate info at the door when you enter. Drug testing is taken very seriously around here because there are people with careers, families, and freedoms riding on the outcome of a U/A.

So seriously guys I'm 90 days clean today my test is not til Wednesday and I'm passing the at home drug tests with a faded line what are my chances for the medical there's a lot at stake for me??

you never gave us specific stats. but assuming you aren't obese and aren't sedentary all day and that it's a standard 50ng test you should pass. most people(probably 80%ish) of people are clean by day 30. You're passing home test. A fainted line is still a line. I've had fainted lines after not smoking for 6 months. you are fine, tell your mind to leave you alone about it. i just took a test monday and was only 48 days clean. i didnt even check to see if i was clean lol

No I'm not obese at all man I work 6 days a week I'm 5'11 around 14 stone lik I'm of the green a long time now I'm just a terrible worrier lol stressing out over this medical I can't tel myself to stop worrying its always at the back of my mind
