I wouldn't use miracle grow because it kills weeds and weed is a weed.

I used MG alot when i first started and it never killed one plant. Dont know where you get your info from but id start getting it from a more reliable source.
As for yellowing leaves at the bottom, its pretty normal especially during flower. If you are getting spotting on higher leaves it could be due to ph issues. Im just guessing here so if you want a more accurate answer the best thing you could do is fill out a trouble shooting form and fill out the best you can.

start checking ur ph lvls, its a must...if the ph is to high or even to low u will cause nutrient lock out. ur showing nute deficiencies, but dont just go and add nutes. mix ur water and ur nutes and then adjust ur ph, even though ur in flowering stage ur plants are lacking nitrogen, add some extra nitrogen, but keep ur phosphorus a lil higher...i went and searched ur problem in my cannabis grow bible so this info is pretty much dead on

I believe he's talking about your ingoing water ph. As long as your ingoing water ph is around 6.5ish youll be fine. If you are adding nutes to your water, make sure you check the ph after its added. Like he said, nutes will usually drop the ph

i personaly dont do soil grow but in the book it says u want to keep ur soil at a 7 ph lvl, so ur pretty close, i dont see ur ph being the prob if its that close, give her a lil more nitrogen and keep an eye on ur new growth for signs of any deficiencys, all strains are a lil differ and may ask u for a lil more of differ nutes at times. u should also think about getting a cannabis grow bible. i got mine at barnes and noble for 28 bucks but u have to ask for it, they keep them behind the counter lol

yes i was talking about the ingoing water, but he also has to keep an eye on his soil, cause the breakdown of the nutes can cause his ph lvls to rise so he may have to drop the ph in his water to make up for the rise in his soil, but if he keeps about a neutral 7 ph he should do good

and what ever u do dont over water, wait till its time to water again, ur plant is stressed a lil and ide hate to see it die at this stage....be patient, she will come back lol

lol, i wonder if he has ever tried mg? the only reason ive ever heard not to use it, is because of its slow release of nutes and if a beginner u may not know the right time when to add the right amounts of nutes and cause nute burns

my water ph is 7.4 before i add nutes and i cant check it after i add nutes because i use a colour chart and water is to dark after adding the nutes also i have no crystals on my buds and there small but plenty of white hairs is this normal

yes, be patient....they will fatten up....wait to 2 thirds of them hairs start to turn redish brown before u harvest. the weeks they tell u for flowering is only an estimate, just give her time and u will see....lol....

u should be pretty close on ur ph then, but worst case, maybe add just a lil ph down before if u cant check after ur nutes, but i think ull be ok, ur plant will definitely tell ya. but always check. cuz ive seen big changes in my tap waters ph lvls, just try to keep it at or above 6.5 to 7, ur nutes will work great and ur plant will like ya lol

The hairs are a bad indicator to when the plants are done. Too many things can make them turn brown. Get yourself a cheap microscope from radioshack or ebay for like 15 bucks and look at the trichomes (little crystals). Mostly cloudy is a more uppity high and more amber is more the couchlock high.

Sorry for reviving an old thread, but I just wanted to chime in with my 2 cents worth.
I see a lot of folk telling the guy to check PH, this is something that I've never done whilst growing in a good soil mix, and I've always been told that there's never any need to correct the PH of your feed/water when growing in dirt, I know there's plenty of folk who do this, but there really is no need, the dirt acts as a PH buffer.
When I lived in the city my tap water had a PH of 8.5 , I used John Inness #2 for my medium and I NEVER used PH down to correct my feed.
Oh, and another thing, ph up/down should never be used if you are growing organically.

Get some Epsom salt at the store and put a level teaspoon in a gallon of water and water them with it. Give the change a couple days and see what happens.

Could this thread be any more full of damn poor/bs advice? Let it die!
Thoth, organic soil grow is pretty easy but shitty water like 8.5 can cause problems or reduce quality and quantity of the product. Food grade pH down/up certainly is used in organic grows if decent water isn't available.
Mike mike, my advice is start a new thread.
Polish, the plant would be a year old now. :)
I haven't noticed Andy around much lately either.

Andy never did get that plant sorted out, I guess.

Shovel, I was addressing mikemike's post, not the earlier one. If you take a look at the dates you'll see what I mean. I wouldn't want to respond to a year old post. And yes, Mike should start his own thread. That's what magnesium deficiency looks like.
