Baby is growing crooked! Help my baby! PICTURE
Here's a pic Attachment 283963of it, its obviously super crooked. This is common for most plants in general. Also during the night I have it behind a pc fan to strengthen it. Any help? Also should I change my lighting schedule to 18/6.. I was doing constant light. This was to heighten the plant.. But I think I need to go down to let it bush out.. Idk you tell me!

It's growing toward the light. Looks like you turned it recently.
If the light is at that angle the light bends its leaves to grab as many lumens as possible.
If the light is directly above the plant it will grow straight.
Good luck

Thanks I thought maybe it was the light. Also thought it was maybe getting overly tall?

Its the light, you should have the light directly above the plant. It will help the plant grow straight. I do a 1/4 turn every day to make sure she gets light at all angels and stays straight.
You can change your light to 18/6, this will help it start to bush out. If you are wanting a bushy plant, chop the top in about a week. Or LST.

There are probably a hundred things you need to know.
Look in my signature, there is a link to a documented grow. Each week is documented.
That's the best I can do for you.

Yeah I figured the 18/6 is what I'm doing since last night, which is when I started 18/6, the plant already started growing bushes. I got a few pics. Uhm my mom bought me a black light and I was wondering can I use that to try on the plant? I've always wanted to. Just to experiment a little what y'all think?
Thanks,

Lol.. The Black Light is NOT beneficial for any reason. Although its main spectrum is RED, there is not enough lumens to make a difference in any kind. Even if you were to use it as a night light (Moon Light) it doesn't have enough lumens to cause stress or growth.
Ive used a Black Light before and I had it ON during the dark hours. Ive never noticed any significant changes.

You seen any difference in the growth? when you have a dark period your plant seems to bush out more i think thats what happend to mine, it was on 24/7 at first but then switched to 15/9. and the plants going nuts lol.

Oh yeah mine is growing like a weed. Lol Irony. But I just changed pots.. No immediate signs of stress but we will see in the morning. Lighting schedule as usual, and watering has changed a little. I have it in a self water absorbing pot. I'll show the grow site tomorrow. You'll get a kick. It'll be in my grow log. Lol

I'm wondering the effect of 2 UVA 10 watt 200 lumen black lights? About 24 inches and on only during the 6 hour night period... Experiments coming up hahahaha.
Thanks, Jina

First off , Try an place the light directly above it. this will help the plant get its maximum growth. Second it seems like maybe you should spend alot of time reading about basic grow, and know as much as you can before you start a plant. I am not saying this in a negative way, and mean this only with constructive criticism. I read hours an hours of articles an literature pryor to starting my first grow. It is good to start with one plant to give all the attention you can to it, and once you've had a succesful harvest then go from their. I am not bragging but , doing your homework first pays off. My first female plant was just harvested and yielded on the upper ends of 5 oz of some amazing "BLUBERRY KUSH." I am in no way a seasoned grower but had a great "First Grow."

Oh, one more thing...... 20/4 or 22/2 is awesome for the first stages of growth. Again, everyone has a certain opinion on this but I went with 20 on 4 sleep for 2 Months.

Hey Mental. Today I decided that the plant had been overly stressed and was in awful health so I took its life. I started 2 new ones and will be very careful with these. I have them under light right now. I will do probably 1 day of 24 until they sprout. And then 20/4 until they are about 3 inches-5 inches. I'm sorry bro. Today was a hard day for me. Lol killed my baby. Oh well I fudged up anyways. We'll see.

purpfreshy,
dude. seriously you need to have an understanding of the basics. growing is not difficult, but it does require some knowledge and experience. keep this in mind, growing these girls follows basic principles. there is no vodoo magic shit you can do to make your plants awesome. all you can do is research and listen. and if it sounds dumb, like black lights, then it most likely is. dont waste your time f'in around, do your homework!
good luck!

Bro I've done SO MUCH research. SO MUCH I grew this 1 plant as a Total Experiment. Multiple variables, seeing what would work and what wouldn't. 1 red bulb, 1 blacklight, 1 fluro. Great growth. Cheap soil. Great growth. No nutrient lockout. Great result. 100% free grow. No biggy. I'm just messing around. I had no intention of making that thing last.. I wanted to experiment. I got my experiment and now my 2 seeds have popped and I'm starting another. 2 fluros 1 blacklight. Blacklight for the blue rays. Fluros for bushing. I know what I'm doing. Yeah it was my first. Yes I've read the Grow Bible. Yes I have spent about 10 days researching. But I wanted to do my own thing. If you don't agree that's cool. But I was messing around man. Sorry if I offended you in any way, shape, or form.

bro,
sorry if i came off as angry. that was not my intention. my point is that by you still talking about the blacklight, shows you have not done your research in the right areas. your black light is an incandesent bulb. first issue is, it his highly innefficient ie;lots of cost not much light. second issue is lumen output. the lumen output from a sixty watt incandesent bulb may seem bright to you, but to a plant its like the sun on a black stormy day. to grow succsessful plants with dense, large buds and high yields you absolutely need at the very least 250 watt cfl bulb in a small, enclosed, reflective space. and this would only be enough for one, by my standards, modest plant. and as far as variables go, any successful grower will tell you the less variability you have the better. i agree with trying slightly different things on a small level that are based in science, this can yield successful results. please do not get offended, my goal is to help you grow better plants brother. peace

:thumbsup:I think it's really cool how everybody voices opinions or past experience and is/are careful to do in a way that is taken constructively, and even with conflicting methods and reasoning, nobody is offended:thumbsup::thumbsup:
