You need to post pictures showing the nodes. The male sacks and female buds form where the leaf meets the stock.

I appreciate the tip, pics didn't upload quite as well as I had them on the computer. Anyway, will take some of those areas, maybe I'm just blind and stupid but after looking at the pics in the forums and faq's, as well several other sites, don't look like mine

Updated Pics Male/Female??
Are these any better, ya know the more I look at these things, the more I think I'm seeing things.....ya know?! Anyway, I would certainly appreciate your opinion. #1=Plant 1 / #2=Plant 1 / #3=Plant 2 / #4=Plant 2 /#5=Plant 4. I will add some later for Plant 3 but there just wasn't much to take a pic of....cut backe too far? dun no but it's having a harder time recovering than the others. I have (4) four others that I will upload at a different point in time. Thanks again a head of time for your opinion.

Texas,
I looked them over real well but I just can;t see any definate sexing going on.
How old are these? Have you put them into flower stage yet?
Or are you looking for pre-flowers?
Updated Pics Male/Female??
As a random guess it does look female but u cant be too sure till it starts to flower... keep us updated :)

Thanks Again folks, These plants were started from shwagg (dirt weed) seed, germinated for a few days, planted into starter pots (1-1/2"), and then to thier prospective pots as needed. They were planted on March 25th, 05 (in pots) and were cut back to save space and produce more tips approx, 2 weeks ago...you can probably see some of the cuttings stuck back into each individual pot to see if they would root, anyway, I guess that makes them about.....6 weeks young or so...I have 9 Total, (3) in the Mother Room (6) in the flowering room under CW compacts, but they are having great difficulties keeping up with the first 3 due to differrence in lighting. Unfortunately space and stealth prevents me from doing otherwise. I am hoping that out of (9) I get (3) Females.....we'll see!!! I have a concern about the flowering issue. Everyone say's read this, read that, look here, look there, but hardly anyone agrees completely. So far ya'll are the only ones showing any interest at all from any site I have visited. One site says you can tell without putting into flowering, another says totally opposite ?!?!?! So which is it, it isn't like these seeds cost anything, but I don't want to invest until I know this cabinet and My abilities will allow all of this to happen properly. Any suggestions would be appreciated, or links to more reading material(s).

Texas,
Sometimes, a plant will show preflowers. Sometimes they will not. They aren't 'supposed' to, in other words, it is more rare than it is common.
By looking at the first set of pics, I would doubt these are going to preflower.
Like Zandor said, just give it some more time. It usually takes 7-14 days to bring the sex out...assuming they are in total darkness for 12 hours.
Happy gROWing.

You just don't know how good it is to have others who don't mind answering stupid questions from us newbies. I had always been taught that there are no stupid questions, and besides, everyone had to start somewhere, and is always better to learn from the wiser sect.....ya know ?! Anyway, will flowering these plants for a couple of weeks to check "sex", going to hurt them (much) knowing that the final intent is to use as "Bonsai Mums" ? If not.....then let the games begin !!!!!

texas:
i am now on my third grow in three years -- i always consider myself a newbie as i can always learn (especially from pics like these). at this point in my "grow three," i'm just letting these plants grow and checking them every couple of days. i've realized that by fretting over my plants every single day, it seemed like an eternity before they matured and flowered. that said, you'll be learning a lot with your attitute. my first impression was you have a week or two to wait before the plants let you know what they are. get a 30X magnifying glass -- it'll help a lot. i picked one up on ebay for three bucks. good luck and keep us posted on those pics.

Dude its so easy to tell if they are male or female. Males dont look like females at all in that they dont produce buds. I dont understand why this is so difficult for people to figure out.
Updated Pics Male/Female??
Well its not tuff to figure out. People just like knowing they are growing females and are i think too anxious to find out. I know I am.
Kinda like first time parents I guess.
Sexing them early doesnt hurt the plant, as you can always return to veg cycle.
Happy growing!

What?! Return the plant to 18/6 AFTER you've gone to 12/12? Are you NUTS? Unless you actually WANT male flowers, i wouldn't suggest this.
Don't forget that your plant will grow 30-40 % AFTER you put it into flowering.
But whatever you do, don't go back to veg after you've gone into flowering..

Quitre contrare BobBong,
I have spoken with many growers who use this method who veg 8-12 weeks.
Just as if you were to be in flower stage, and light interupted the sacred 12/12 cycle, that doesn't guarantee anything about sex. At worst, it will delay the flower cycle by 2 weeks.
THus, placing yor veg into flower cycle, for 2 weeks, should let you determine the sex. If male, into the trash.
If female, back in to vegging for another 3-4 weeks for extra growth. I have never heard of this inducing male species, since by the 4th week, the sex has been already determinded.
If this induced males, any interuption in flower cycle would induce males also.
Perhaps not on this board is it a common practice, however, it is common to sex the plant prior to full flower stage elsewhere.
Of course if this concerns you, you could always root a clone, then sex it and find out that way.
Happy growing!

I'm not going to argue this point because i've read in books written by guru's of growing the exact opposite of what you're saying harddon
