I forgot to buy wood pellets, and now the store that sells them is closed.

I live in the boonies, and my heat source is a pellet burner. It works great and is cheaper than paying the bigger energy companies. But sometimes its a hassle.
It burns about three quarters if a bag in 24 hrs. Bags are 3.50$ a piece. 175$ for a ton.
I obviously havnt baught a ton yet , as I have no way to haul that all the way home. The bags weigh 40+ lbs a piece.
So I usally go to t.s.c and buy three or four bags at a time, everytime I go into town.
Well last time I went into town, I only baught two bags, because I baught a-ok rooters plugs.
For my clones. ;)
Now i got all the way home from buying dinner and what not, and the heaters friggin off, with the little "empty!" Light on
Shit.
I'm gonna look up on the web what else I can burn (cherry pits or corn...) In it, maybe ill get lucky...
But knowing my luck....

It's a little warmer, I vented the exaust pipe from my grow lights, so instead of the warm air going outside, its going into my room...
Still friggin freazin though.

turn your oven on if it's electric and put a fan blowing the air around. If it's gas it'll still work just don't use a fan it'll blow the pilot light out.

Lol my oven is a microwave and a double hot plate tray cooking thing. Most of the stuff I have here is ekectrical. Medium sized fridge. Dinky sink. Tiny bathroom with a shower,not a tub.
Oh what I wouldn't give to have a huge, hot, bubbly, bathtub, just for me....by myself. With quietness, and candlelight, and a good book. :jointsmile: and a good bud too ...;)
Like in the movies where its all steamy with like a foot of bubbles over the tub.
Well back to my reality of cold tile showers and hard water ruining my hair, my clothes and sometimes my dishes. I love country living, but right now I'm cold and kinda grumpy.

It's ok tho cuz I'm just procrastinateing chopping the rest of my plants down.

I'll give you another 25 years and then you'll really be tired of country! Have never tried a pellet burner-but have had all the rest. I like a good ole heat stove fireplace insert, myself. Use's very little wood and keeps an entire house warm. Tired of cleaning up the firewood dust in the house.

Electric and only electric is the pitts. Does that mean you only have dial-up, as well! Believe it or not, I just fled from it for the winter! Couldn't even get Hi-speed dial-up. Offered Verizon a free joint to lit up high, didn't work though. Perhaps you can laugh yourself warm! Some funny threads...well, lets get one going here!

No, I think I'm gonna take my heater out of my grow room and plug it in out in my bedroom.
Ican just turn my online fan down a notch and it will heat up in there enough so I won't need the heater.
Just started taking all my plants down, its gonna be a long night, I'll probly be up till morning. Last night I only did ten and I started at two or three am and was going to sleep at around seventhirty- eight am.
Pshew! Now I'm just gonna crank out the rest of the thirty eight plants tonight. I'm getting an earlier start, and there three ppl total working, as opposed to only me last night. I should invest in a big trimmed thing, but theres nothin like a high quality, carefully hand trimmed bud.

Yes Pr we had a wood stove too, messy and smelly. We got rid of that for the pellet burner, and its a lot less hassle. Plus I'm gettin pretty buff carrying those forty plus pound bags twice a week...

Too bad about the wood stove. I finally learned how to use it. Uses so little fuel. Only had to open the flue about 1/4inch and it just stayed toasty warm. Not much mess. And I hate the mess. But then, I was the only one that used it. So, I could control the mess.

If you turn on a gas stove, you know it has to be vented or it could cause harm to you! Went to bed and couldn't, got worried! So, had to drop in and make sure! Don't know why posts are an hour before my time here, can't figure it out. Have my time setting right. DST here and should have re-set proper. Oh well.

that sucks, but dude.. it's almost christmas, & it's still 60 degrees here in virginia. weather here is bipolar.

Yep, I did. Been up since 6:30 A.M. Sometimes, I just don't require much sleep, however, certainly a few hours of deep peaceful sleep. But my little dog won't get up. Remains a tiny lump in my bed! Says it is too cold at 70 degrees in the house! Couldn't find her. Tucked safely under the covers. Should get up soon!

Can you get scented pellets? Would be nice to get some cinnamon aroma for the house! Don't work too hard!

Yes my harvest is done, only half of the plants are neatly manicured, the rest gave no fan leaves and are hanging up. I'll finish the rest later tonight.
It's slowly getting warmer in here, sixty seven degrees!

This is a pic of the harvest of one plants worth, it was a super lemon haze clone I sent into flowering at just over a foot tall...
Doesn't seem like much...
But it was a hassle to trim all 48 of those...
