From the research I've read, and from personal experimentation.
The most efficient use is joints.
And the thinner, the better.
Big fat doobies are a waste of weed.
More resin get incinerated than inhaled.
Same with pipes.
The wider the burn, the more gets wasted.
The least efficient use is water-pipes.
Much of the active ingredient condenses when it hits the cold water and never reaches the lungs.
That said, I presently use a small glass pipes.

thanks alot i always thought joints were the most wasteful
I usually use White Owl wraps. I always felt like since the wrap was made out of tobacco that it just kinda gets you that much "higher". Im probably wrong + everything Weezard said makes sense. I just like "rolling" up. I think its 1/2 the fun haha
Always smoked skinny joints, until i gave up tobacco (for a while) last year... for the two odd months that i quit i was using a variety of bongs/pipes and i tell ya, never been so high! Definately the up side to quitting tobacco, I look forward to my next attempt.
Anything glass of course. I mean seriously
I'd say gravity bong or a lung. Joints don't affect me much unless I'm already high.
Bongs are also awesome in my opinion, great for breakfast ha

I must say that for me, nothing beat a joint in the morning. Properly rolled of course. I liked the vape but recently I've decided that I have to give up smoking all together. I'm not sure that I can do it but I'm going to try. It's been two and a half months and so far so good. I'm on to medibles only. I love to smoke but my lungs are telling me to stop.
For me, it's got to be the Erbo Pipe. I like to smoke and have never really been able to get down with vaporizing. I've never smoked anything as smooth and tasty as the Erbo Pipe. It uses a teaspoon of water and spins it at 3,000 rpm cooling, filtering and moisturizing the smoke. I get some dank stuff here on the west coast and I'm amazed at the pull you can take without coughing and choking. With the Erbo Pipe I save at least 25% in substance over time. There was a funded study in the '70s that got all anal about quantitative analysis and hooked all kine sing up to a machine.
Then they used a gas chromatography machine to quantify the THC, cbd, cbn, etc.
Skinny joints had the most bhang for your buck. :)
But PR is right, rolling's getting more difficult daily.
Good thing I no have to buy my meds, yah.
Also have some superb genetics now so I hadda retire the pipes, then the joints.

My lungs are toast. I can't smoke any more. I have to give it up. Two young kids with 20+ years of smoking behind me. Just hope I'm quitting in time... it's on to edibles only for me. Nothing like a fat blunt in the morning. I would give anything to hit 75. If I do, I'll treat myself every now and then.
myself i prefer blunts or splifs but i find bowls get me higher
good bong rips & a couple gbs get me good. i mean, i get high by smoking anything. but gbs + bongs really rock my head.
i heard somewhere along the line that it went like this in order of most efficient....pipe, joint(blunt), bong, vape....some one on the board also mentioned this....in my experience i love bongs, but around with a bunch of friends a blunt is easier to pass...peace and pot
joints are more social if smoking with friend IMO. I like blunt skins especially blueberry!
Joints are my favorite delivery system. But like Weez I end up with half joints which I then empty into a glass pipe. Every way gets me high. I enjoy the first hits off the pipe or joint best.
I love bong it get you the highest man.
We all hit the pipes, bongs, and bubblers regularly. More pipes and bongs. Every once and a while we will use the vaporizer. You always want to keep your tolerance down though, so you don't have to hit the bong 3 times before you feel anything. Stick with a pipe for regular use and a bong for when you want to get torched. Small joints for me, I use a roller, perfect roll all the time. Most efficient high second to glass pipe. Bong highs are great, but doesn't last long. Actually eating it is the best high because it last the longest, and gives that true floating feeling like smoking 4-5 joints in a row lol, but it's not as efficient as a quick roll or glass pipe.
I really need to start getting some recipes together and start making edibles more.
Well IMO anything that you take a hit at a time gets you higher, because you have the time to hold it in for the full time (5seconds) such as a bong or pipe. I like joints better because they get you blown in the end, but I dislike having to smoke continually from the time you light up. Cuz its not like you can just put a joint or blunt down and come back in ten minutes and take a hit like you can with a pipe... Well you can but you'll be pissed when you come back and see your weed has been wasted lol. But all I all, your love smoking any way, cuz no matter how u smoke, you get high... The beauty of Marijuana
