Patient board members, be aware you have an state issued ID card at the producer.
Did you know if you are a patient board membe of a medical cannabis producer the state has issued you an ID card identifing you as such and as an member of a licsenced producer you have certain rights and protections, the ID cards are issued by the state and sent to the producer and the producer is responsible for sending the ID card to you, the patient listed on the ID. not many of the producers even inform the board members of this ID. if you are a board member of a state licsensed producer you have been issued an ID indicating your status and protection as it relates to medical cannabis program. just thought I would inform the uninformed in the New Mexico medical cannabis program. open your eyes to the truth, it is out there.;)

What are the benefits to the patient if the Producer gives him this ID?

it is the PROPERTY of the PATIENT and that would be the primary benifit that I see, also would you give anyone your SS card and let them HOLD IT for you? not me!

I am certainly interested in seeing this card when someone can post a pic of it.

I think someone here has it wrong. I believe it works like this:
1. You obtain a Patient card (NOT PPL) from DOH.
2. You are then eligible to be one of the 2 required "card carriers" on a producer's board.
I really don't think (nor does the DOH website mention) that just by virtue of being on a board, you get some sort of additional card. And, specifically, what exrtra benefits / protection would such a card give someone????
I too would like to see an example.

I think that there is some misunderstanding here the card that we are talking about is for employees of that non-profit.

without a photo on the ID anyone could claim to be the card holder and use the ID to transport illegally, the producer is required to send this to the member, it has a patients name listed on it and is obtained using the information the patient has on-file with NM department of health and an FBI background check, not an ss card but sure does make one vunerable nontheless. hope this helps those who are affected.

Very hard to read, with everything reversed....still unsure what benefits, if any, such a card would bestow on the holder, but it is very interesting that it exists, thanks 4 sharing!
