It seems like ten years since I've been able to harvest any of my outdoor plants due to rippers. Here is one little south facing patch on the edge of a corn field. 6/26

i like corn
ah looking great shove! i bet they will be huge bushes by harvest time
Nice picture!
Does corn flower 12/12? That is going to look so cool come fall...
actually the corn is for cow feed and they let it go longer than sweet corn. Even so, they will chop it long before the pot is finished. By that time I'll have to make sure the plants are trained away from the corn rows. As the cannabis are facing south it should be easy to do. Also, I'll have to keep them short to blend in with the brush as once the 12' corn stalks are gone they would be easy to see. I'll have to come up with something.
Good luck, I hope no one rips them.
Me too, thanks.
Topped or FIMed all the taller branches in the cornfield plot and in the six in the garden. The half dozen in the brush still should stretch up to the same height as the weeds before I top and perhaps tie them over. The rate of growth this past week has been wonderful. It's been dry the last four days so I did water the garden and corn field plot. It may not rain much for the next week so I plan on feeding with compost tea next watering.
:weedpoke:Hey Shove-pretty cool idea! Hope your crop doesn't end up for cow feed! I know a farmer or two. I have a feeling, they aren't going to miss your crop in theirs when they harvest! With luck, the corn will take a bit longer, due to all the moisture this year!
So, what kind of seed are you using? PR:weedpoke:
no, the corn should be harvested first. The combine should miss the pot plants if I train them away from the corn. I will also try and cover them with brush when they start to cut. Farmer and I are cool. He plants on my back 100' as I never had the desire to mow all that. This plot is right on the property line and they are more than respectful of my property. The corn harvesting used to be contracted but I don't know with this new land owner. The first time I was ripped I'm sure it was the combine operator that saw it in my garden and ripped it that night in a nasty thunderstorm. Plant was a nice 6-7' "Christmas tree' but still had six weeks left to finish as it only had little cotton ball buds.
No, the growth rate has been very good for the corn that didn't drown. Farmer replanted some of the wet areas and some took off and some were still too wet and are bare ground now. Not very much loss though as they put in a lot of new drainage this Spring.
I planted feminized Afghani Dream x BOG Medley. Good to see from you again, PR.
:abduct:Hey Shove, sounds like the perfect medley!:s4:only in America! PR, I may be in that neck of the corn patch come harvest!! Planning a long road trip to where ever the roads lead me. I am not sure if I will get much further than a lake I like to fish in the Rockies, but you just never know! The weeds sure look like they really grow well there! With your:kisslove: green thumb of the crop! I love your grow logs! Hope the :areindeer: don't do any nibbling! I know they feed off the corn in that area! Sure miss the state flags to know where people are from in the forum! But, I do remember!
Property prices are dropping around here, looking for an isolated place to do outdoor grows in my back yard. Guess, I'll have to get a guard dog to keep them in the yard! Enough sun, etc. to make a nice crop. Moving to an area of less heat and more control of sun energy. Expect, after my trip, I will light up near a corn field here! Or the agri-grow center of the University. Have a good prospect now, but worried the agri-students might find my private heaven! :rambohead: Rots of Ruck-as, I know you use trial and error and have a great attitude regarding your grow! PR
So, what did you brew up for your 4th of July token this year?
Hope you don't feel jacked, but I know you usually have a special one for it!
lots of deer and turkey here. unreal, but never had trouble in the garden with any of the local fauna. Lucky! We have run cycles of snakes, norway rats, weesels, red fox, grey fox, snoeshoe hare, cotton tails, coonies, skunk, racoon, ferul cat, woodchuck (groundhog), coyote, turkey, white-tail deer, moose, and other less occasional around here are bear, bobcats, fischer cats, mink, and lesser rodents.
Today was sunny and warm and I topped the plants in the brush as they were stretched enough.
the girls are grows like weeds man hehe good job shove how big are you wanting them to get ?
I'd like them to be all but invisible but huge buds. <G> I'm going to try and keep them low to the ground and will be using some cut weeds to camouflage when the other plants get done.
lookin great bro, wow what 5 days difference can do outside!
ive been working on my summer projects too and am in the same boat
i got alot of this ahead of me, but its all part of the fun,Quote:

Nice, hopefully nobody else knows they are there.

well, I don't use the same spot but it's all pretty close to my yard. I've had the bastards find little 1/4 oz plants trained horizontal in the weeds where I couldn't even see it! I don't think it's anyo0ne I know as I don't show off. But once the pricks found the first plant they've been on to me ever since. They always pick way too early to even get anything worth smoking...I'm hoping one day they will either give it up or be in jail or something.
ah man i got ya lol stick some males in a place that they always check and let them steal them and smoke pollen then plant the ones you want to do outdoors in a new spot away from that area.Quote:

OK, if you read any of this thread you may ask what happen to the eight plants I moved?
Here are the eight plants I located here. They were growing vertical until lots of brush around it started to die off and corn harvest could be any time. So, I knocked 'em down horizontal and cover them with brush, yes I tend to them during the wet times and shake off the rain.
This is the view from as close as you can get from inside the corn field.

Man, beautiful area looks like my region, gotta love farmlands. Wish it was legal again, boy what I could do with my girls if I could do it openly.

good going...send some my way, I like smoke..
Hey Shove, Any results there? pr
The yield was 12 ounces of Afghani Dream x BOG Medley. I just put the last of it into the trimmings bag to make qwiso soon. It was very decent weed.
This season I have one Northern Lights #5 x Skunk #1, seed from Mr Nice. Photo is from last week. It's just about 6' tall. And it just started to throw pistils. I just harvested 6 ounces of this weed and it's very special.
