I've ordered from them twice and would def order again. Great customer service and received my seeds to California within 10 days from date of ordering.
I haven't tried them myself, but two friends have and I was definitely happy with the end result.
I ordered from them and a friend of mine ordered the next day. We got our seeds 1 day apart, 10 days later. The freebie seeds were as expensive and even more expensive then the seeds we paid for. I highly recommend them!
Also ordered from em. Great Company. I think they where another company that got shut down from delivering to the US. I'm not gonna say which but take a wild guess lol...
The single seed company has been one of my favs for a few years, fast stealthy delivery and good growing results. There prices arent the best compared to attitude for seeds and freebies..they also take credit cards and dosent show on your bill !!!
Just got my seeds yesterday. Took over 2wks but no biggie. Nice packaging and secure. The two freebies I received were both priced close to $20usd/Each. Assuming how well all these seeds do this might be where I buy from from now on. I like the idea of being able to order singles.
Anyone know any other places that sell singles?
thx
I ordered from singleseedcentre and received five seeds, three I ordered and two free. They arrived in exactly ten days and were packaged exactly as decribed. Individually identified and discretely delivered. I was indeed quite pleased.
However, when I tried to germinate them I did not have good results at all. I started with the freeebies and used the paper towel technique that I have used with great success for over thirty years. The seeds "cracked" open and started to poke out of the open end just like always but the just stopped making any progress at all. I never let them dry out or become over moisturized.
I next tried one of the ones I paid for and got the same results. I then tried the rockwool for seeds method (small hole in top of small rockwool cube) and got the exact same results. I have used this method with great success in the past as well. Very frustrating indeed.
I decided to contact them for advice regarding this issue today but discovered that they will not answer any questions with regard to germination. I get it from a legal standpoint but here I am with one remaining seed, the one I most wanted to work, and I am at my wits end as to how to proceed.
Has anyone had success with seeds from this company and if so PLEASE advise me as to how you did it. I am open to the possibility that the failure was mine but given the multiple attempts with methods I have used for decades I am totally frustrated.
I am absolutely pleased with every aspect of dealing with this company except of course the end results.
from what I understand they replace duds...
Their website specifically (contact us section) says they will not respond to any questions with regard to germination as their seeds are not sold for that purpose. I fail to understand how I am to address the "duds" issue without refferencing germination but maybe you have a suggestion I have not thought of.
I tried to emailed them just for a general question and the email address bounced.
i dont fathom pollen however purple kush yield one thing coo on behalf of me
What? What language is this?
After failing to germinate four of the five seeds I received I gave up and asked a friend to take a shot with the last one, Jack47. His girlfriend has a rep as a seed popper so she did her thing and two days later called me to come get it. By the time I got there the next day the white stem was already an inch and a half to two inches long. Popped it in a small rockwool cube and asked if they would keep it until it rooted through.
Just a shame I did not let her do the same with the others, oh well. I just want to say for the record that all details of my transaction with The Single Seed Centre were top notch and I will be using them again.
I've bought from the Single Seed Centre several times, 4 times this year (2012), always gotten nice free seeds and never had a problem germinating or growing any of 'em. My favorites so far have been Tangerine Dream, Pineapple Chunk, LSD, THC Bomb, and Black Jack although there haven't been any that were "bad"... they were all good, just the ones I mentioned have great taste and good stoniness too.
