Hi ! ,.
I have started my first grow as a novice and am having a few prob's ,. My plants are just over a week old now ,and seem to be going yellow through the middle , there are yellow line's appearing on the vains of the leave's and little patches as well as leaves looking a little yellow, tips are also yellow !,. On a different plant the leave's are very dark in colour and looked waxed also with yellow tip's and also some tips are faceing down??? .....
...Here is a few thing's i'm useing..... I have them in a tent , useing a 600 watt spectrum bulb , i have the plants in soil plagron with perlite,. The plants are roughly 2ft away from lamp, Temp is 78-84 , Light off is about 66-76, i've been watering every 3 day's (with light on) ph level i think im getting to 6.5 (useing a aquarium test kit) cant say what the run off is tho
I am not feeding any feeding product's, Only useing super thrive (good??)
Any help would be appreciated :)
I will try and get some pic's on A.S.A.P

I'm in need of some good advice ! plz
These are the questions
Quote:
What is your experience level? (first timer, novice, experienced...)
Your Equipment:
1) Type and wattage of lights?
2) Distance from tops?
3) Reflector type?
4) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule?
5) Is there a consistent fresh air supply?
6) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan? How located?
7) Do you have other equipments like heater, humidifier or any other?
Your medium:
8) Specific brand and type of soil, (coco, peat based soilless...) and anything you've added to it. (vermiculite, perlite, worm castings...)
9) Size of container.
10) Did you use peat pucks (or similar) to root clones or germinate seedlings?
11) How did you use it? (How much soil in container, did you press, if transplanted when and from what size etc.)
Your nutrients and water:
12) Source of water? (tap, bottled or filtered)
13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule. (How often and how much)
14) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering?
15) How do you water/feed (slowly, pouring all the water at once, until seeing the runoff, etc... Give detail)
16) What are the pH values (water, soil, ingoing, runoff) What are the pH checking methods?
17) Any additives or tea's? (Superthrive, CalMag, molasses, Mother's Earth...)
18) Do you foliar feed? If so, with what, how often, and at what time do you spray?
Your growroom:
19) Indoors or outdoors?
20) What size of closet, room or hut?
21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on? ...With lights off?
22) What type of reflector material you're using for the walls?
23) Have you seen signs of insects in the grow room?
Your strain:
24) What strain are you growing? (Indica dominate or Sativa dom?)
25) From seeds or clones?
26) Is this an autoflower strain?
And give other details that is not asked here if you remember any. Give detailed pictures from the top, from the sides, macro focused...
Only thing I can say by just looking at those pictures and the details you gave, blue pot and the next one looks over watered.
At least leave the exhaust fan on for the night.

Hi Jaydee
Could you explain what molydenum and manganese are plz ??
-
I'm in need of some good advice ! plz
get rid of superthrive for a while. your using too much.
-
I'm in need of some good advice ! plz
yep for sure (MB) MOLYBDENUM Yellowing of middle leaves. Foliar feed with chemical fertilizer containing Mb
(MN)MANGANESEN yellow spots form on top leaves. Mn deficiency occurs when large amounts of Mg are present in the soil. Foliar feed with any chemical fertilizer containing Mn
this may not be problem sometimes this could just be over waterring
try get some pics from other angles as for ph you want guy called rusty he shoud be on later
digital tester is always better but im sure you can get a good enoth reading of of that
and if ph is out this could cause this
-
I'm in need of some good advice ! plz
as far as PH goes i no that 6-7 is ok i think 6.5 is a good number
-
I'm in need of some good advice ! plz
as for superthrive yea take it away for a bit not too clued up on superthrive i think its good for clones/cutting but small doses dont over do it
i could be wrong about what you would use superthrive for but i think it is

oh ok...i take it ur 600watt is hps 2 foot is ok do you have a fan pointing over plants to take the heat away... do the leaves feel dried out?
you say 6.5 ph im sure this is ok is your water boiled or straight from tap
-
I'm in need of some good advice ! plz
also you said.....quote>When i turn the lights off i turn everything off , i.e fan filtter fresh air ! Should i or should leave on ??
yes i would leave it on with my grow i used to turn fan of like what your doing was ok but then i done some xtra sealing around door's to cut down lite leak etc they started going bit droopy i was advised to keep them on 24/7 and yes it made the difference
if they are starving from fresh air it would make them sad droop etc

The water is straight from tap , my tap water is ph 7.1 , , my temp is 39.2 , and humid is 33% with lights on
And no my fan is well away from the plants at the top of the tent , and is not directed straight at the plants but across the ten , is this wrong ??

ok you should use boiled then cooled water
for starters....AND IS THAT 39,2C IF SO THIS IS TOO HOT should be around 25-27c roughly.....as for fan if you can get it so it directs the heat away from the plant

38-39 Is the best i can get it ! , will this cause a problem in growing? or anything else for that matter?
I moved the fan and is aiming directly under the light now ! that should help a little with the heat once that settles i think ?,... i just went a bought myself a ph meter and a thermometer, so that should help me a bit?
Hydrometer? Does this read the humidity? if so which is good Day & Night?
And boiling the water , Doesnt that get rid of some stuff that plants need? if so i will have to replace??

My mistake lol , temp is 28.8C and 29 RH GOOD ??
-
I'm in need of some good advice ! plz
having it that hot would probly slow the growth down.. always use boiled then cooled water it is better loweres chlorine levels and takes out any bacteria you can still ph it down or up whatever but yea boil first you need to find a way to lower that heat some plants can take it others cant depending on your fan set up ive seen ppl put a bowl of ice water with salt init behind the fan the salt will super cool the water/ice so the air its blowing around will be slightly cooler not sure if you meter will do humidity
think you said 33%? thats not too bad me thinks you dont want it to humid otherwise root might set in
get your temps down start using boiled water this should sort your problems

Are you a joke or something?
You wrote "ON 79-84" before and now saying "38-39"
You wrote "humid is 33%" before and now asking "Hydrometer? Does this read the humidity?"
What exactly you're trying to do? If you really care about your plants first be serious. Pay your attention here. Think twice before you post. Give info as much as you can. Don't try to do things quickly. Spend 10 more minutes on writing each one of your posts. Sending quick replies doesn't help on your problem at all. Save other members time on reading and writing. Got it?
You are the one who have problems. If you don't take it serious no one else does. Having multiple accounts and sending same careless threads over and over again doesn't cure your plants.
Best thing for you to do, START READING!

rh/humidity
as i said if your reading 33% that ok especially in flowering
start using boiled then cooled water get ph to bout 6.5 lots fresh air coming in
give it couple of days if no change use chemical fertilizer containing M it sounds bit like (MB) MOLYBDENUM def but you need to get every thing else corrected first.... temps, and the water is a defo in my opinion dont use water straight from tap
really hope this helps GooD Luck m8ty

This is exactly what I mean. You're still trying to give quick answers. It's not my fault if you've been reading shit. From here most looks like you've been writing useless messages for last 4 days more than reading. Go and read here: Cannabis FAQs / FAQ , Recipes, Medical Marijuana
Come back after if you can't find your answers there.

thats ok m8 only hopes it helps remember boil or even leave water in a jug of some sort for 20+hours then use the thing with water straight from tap it can cause nuit /ph lock out if the chlorine content is too high

p.s WAS THAT BETTER FOR YA TEVFIK ?? ;)

This is just better than nothing for me.
Your soil has 5.5-6.5 pH buffer. You even managed to make it lower than that. Good job you did over there by trying to run before learning how to walk  Keep goin'

might be so if your runoff is 5.2 you need to raise it x1 so the run off should read 6- -6.5 if PH problems do accure this would more than likely cause nuit/fert lock out where the plant is rejecting
where i live i dont know why but ive not had to ph the water i just bring them up with boiled/cooled water....this is not the case for every one.
i should get ph kits...i just find that when people bring there plant up on ph'ed water they incur problems when ph is slightly out i should really get test kit i just think untill i get a problem that indicates ph problem then i will most def i just fined brining them up with just water is fine
i could be wrong but not had any problems so far.....anyways so yea get the runoff as close to 6.5 as ya can

Phosphorus (P) is necessary for photosynthesis and works as a catalyst for energy transfer within the plant. Phosphorus helps build strong roots and is vital for flower and seed production. Highest levels of phosphorus are used during germination, seedling growth and flowering. Deficiencies will show in older leaves first. Leaves turn deep green on a uniformly smaller, stunted plant. Leaves show brown or purple spots.
NOTE: Phosphorus flocculates when concentrated and combined with calcium

I'm in need of some good advice ! plz
it almost sounds like Nutrient Disorder /lock out check out this web page ive found it has pictures of leaves with varios problems see if you can match it up...if it is a Nutrient Disorder it will probly need to be flushed
Marijuana Plants Problems - Yellow Leaves, brown spots, nutrient shortage etc.
get me some more pics asap of the changes some close ups different angles etc
let me know what you think after looking at site
