Labs can detect synthetic now?
So I successfully sub'ed my Magnum Synthetic at the correct temperature. The collector marked the form as "90-100" degrees, threw the sample in a plastic bag and had it delivered to the testing site.
Am I good? I stumbled across some people claiming that labs can now spot synthetic urine because it doesn't smell and doesn't foam (which isn't entirely true, this stuff didn't smell but it DEFINITELY foams.)
Can you calm me down or let me know that Synthetic should still work??

A lack of odor/foaming can be had in some human urine samples as well.

So since I passed the temperature test, I should relax, yes??

Got the call today and I got the job, so I can confirm that its still working fine. I will say that NC and Hawaii are starting to spot a synth, not sure how but I have read quite a bit about it starting to happen. My guess is that this will soon spread to other states, and the cat and mouse game between testers and testbeaters will continue to escalate. I will continue to advocate the legalization of bud, as well as for the responsible use of it, but until that day I will be doing so as a non-smoker.

I meant to say Oregon and Hawaii, NC is still like the other 47 states at this point.

The jury is still very much out on this...

I'm not trying to spread any misinformation. Just do a google news search for synthetic urine. Headlines like "More Hawaiian's failing for using synthetic urine" are, frankly, a bit scary. I guess if I could say anything to people, it would be to keep your eyes open on this issue, because you don't want to be one of those people saying "Guess what happened in my state?"

Like I said, the jury is still out on this. I don't think you are fabricating anything, you're just reporting the FUD you have read on the internet which we have been reading here for years. No harm no foul. That said, we have yet to see a scan of any such failure for synthetics here or at other similar urine testing forums that show what value they are checking and failing people for. Some think they are testing for uric acid and if this be the case people can buy Canadian QuickFix which contains that. Congrats on your pass anyhow

Good luck. Post back and let us know how it goes. If you fail request something in writing. Hell, demand it.

Exactly! Never accept any verbal information and maintain firmly that the sample did indeed came out of your body. The burden is on the labs to prove that the sample did not come from your body.
