Ok, so I have white mildew towards the bottom and appears to be rising. What the hell is it? Please, I do not want to kill my grow:(

What is your experience level? (first timer, ...)

It seems to be more so on the LA con which has realy thick bottom growth. Man, Im gonna freak:wtf:

Not alot of experience, but after researching my problem, they say that stuff can be controlled by a ton of different products out the for it. They also say using a Sulfur Vaporizer will take care of that stuff along with anyother fungi you might have floating about your room. And that sulfur also help with maintaining insects also.;)

They call it powdery mildew if you wanna look up different ways to control it.:thumbsup:

They say fixing it and getting completely rid of it are 2 different things with that stuff. They say most solutions to it are more of a bandaid for the grow you've got going on now, but it tends to keep coming back once you've had it once. Kinda like herpes if I'm understanding it correctly.

So Ill have it over and over again...Man, can I do anything to stop it? And where did it come from. Can you smoke it? OMG, Im not gonna sleep tonight:eek:

I've heard the Commercial greenhouses use sulfur vaporizers to deal with that and other mold/fungi and most insect pest(although the research I've done most say it will put a dent in spider mites, but won't run them completely out), but works well for thrips and white flies if you've got problems with them. I was reading one guys post on another forum site(he's from Seattle), and he said with the R/H there he's got to use a vaporizer once a week or he gets all kinds of things.

Like I said I'm relatively inexperienced, so I'd wait and see what Canni or LSY had to say. That's just my opinion with the research I've been doing the last couple days on Rust Fungi.

yup thats powedery mildew and your on the right track sulfer burners are usualy used , however you already have the mildew so you need something to kill it and get rid of it. theri are alot of things for this, the easiest one to find is clled safer soap, fungicide or all in one. ususaly people burn sulfer about once a week for a half hour to a hour depeding on size of the room. to much sulfer can be bad to the plants too, so follow the directions.

Can you ingest, smoke, eat the shit? Touch it or anything? Fuck man Im all itchy now, fucking herpes...Come on, I wanna go and cut my shit down...Ill be at the front door of the hydro shop with a sleeping bag waiting for the door to open:wtf:

oh your already to harvest? you want that stuff off your not supposed to smoke it, but if you get some dish soap, most of it will wash off, however, your going to damage buds buy doing this, fungus bugs ora ny powdery milder is bad to smoke, eat. But If you have too, you can make realy good hash out of what you r looking at, Hash is a process of washing and collecting the tricomes so it cleans the PM off.

oh and some wallmarts in cali and else where sell safer soap fungicide, also neem oil fungicide and their open 24/7 but be warned adding any of these to the palnt thats about to be cut will make things taste bad, so if your about to harvest a hash bucket batch is the best option, next time grow with this in mind, spray once a week with neem or use a sulfer burner or spray with sulfer soap, becaseu if you got it it will come back, it comes form everything. You could bring it from somewhere infecting the crop or it could grow in the room infecting the crop. but you can kill it so that you dont need to spray so close to harvest.

loo into pyrethum I hear it is a natural chemical (what ever that means) but I also hear it can be used for better reults in flower

No, Im prolly 4-5 weeks out.

the results can be bad, it knocks on the imun system so it can possibly make you sick, not a way to medicate, also even the safer soap and insecticides are not ment to be used at the harvest, they even advise to stop using 2 weeks prior, but I have seen them used all the way through and theri is deffinitly a drop in taste yeild and medicinal quality. if you are about o chop stuff down then i say hash bucket time, but if it has another 2 weeks then loo into killing it without touching the buds wich would be either the pyrithium or somethings elese, but even the soaps will get rid of it.

oh 4-5 weeks then get a sulfer burner or safer soap with sulfer, and try not to spray the buds, its going to get on the buds but give a little effore to spray under leaves and on top and the steam and not the the buds, it wont kill the buds if you do but its not to nice to the buds. you still haveent even flushed so you can get rid of the powdery mildew before harvest. try to spray in the grow room too, this is a big reson why white walls are better than mylar or visqueen caseu usualy people spray the hell out of their rooms, and once mylar gets that on it, it will never be the same again.

Yea, Im not a big fan of this mylar either. Spots, swipes, whatever you want to call it. Never come back to fully clean:mad:
