ok... I posted not too long ago bout a space that I was thinking about growing in. It has since changed and this is the space that I will be using now... I have a floor layout and pics.... PLEASE give me feedback and any possible ways that you would set this up. I have a400w hps 2 cfl's for vegging. and around 400 to spend and get wood and such to make whatever I need to. I would like to start building this on saturday so your feedback is extremely valuable!

Are you going hang the light from the clothes bar? I had to raise mine some; using a 400 watt HID light. That tapered roof could be a problem? The light fixture will be about 5 feet high or more by the end of the grow; unless you keep the plants short. Check for clearance of the reflector.
Will the door be open or closed?...when the light is on? Ventilation is the most common problem. I recommend testing everything before starting.

the angle of the roof ie... the top helps bounce the light back there.
i'd hang the light in the middle of the grow from the roof not the hanger pole
id make the cfl go where i need the extra light run the lights check the temps
adjust the room to the temps i'd run the whole space 12 plants soil timed water on drip or mist system with a two water totes one per mixed the other in use with pump 250 or so and a 1/2 inch tube with 12 18" inch 1/8 inch or spegetti tube get a timer five gallons buckets and grow oh you have to get some turkery pans foil for the buckets to sit in and keep them

1st... ok... the door will be closed as it is directly going to the living room...I own the the house so this will not be a problem.
sticky... you said a lot... can you break it down or even show pics of what you are talking about since I am a noob... I have been doing a lot of research and I even bought Marijuana Horticulture the indoor/outdoor medical growers guide and I am going to be using it as a reference tool for sure!

if your want to go use my plan go get you some equipment light fans mounting hardware chain soil buckets you know 30 gallon trash cans with lids pump tubing catch pan for the buckets shit like thats you have to have some Idea what you want to get yourself its easy look up drip systems :thumbsup:

the soils to small of a substrait or medium you need net pots and hydrotron and rockwool but suretogro is best WHAT type of grow do you want and ill tell ya how
hydro.. I couldnt find any of that stuff but i finally found the ONLY hydro store in tucson... sea of green. they have rockwool and hydroton as well as fox farms supplies :)
Its going to be loud and smell like some skunks are living with ya you need no light at the dark periods too set up the time too end when its hot and come on when its the cheap time or cold temps. soils one cheapest and less loud, the other is growrocks or hydrotron 6"x6" cube rockwool or other slab, with continous mist of the cubes then a ebb flow return with the buckets sitting on bricks running a return 1/2" tubing to the main res.
use a 1/2" roundhole saw bit" Bore Hole Bit" and go to the elctrical dept. and get 1/2inch rubber grommets insert groms into the bottom of the 1/2 hole you drill in the bucket for the ebb in flow drill it 1-2 inches off the bottom no more run 1/2 tubing through the grommet for water tight seal fill bucket with pre washed grow rocks in ph water and run the system
