Why did you guys rename the death star strain and claim it to be your own "proprietary" strain?

I've had both cuts several times and they're very different. Bio-Diesel is Diesel-dominant, Death Star is Sensi dominant... different structure, different smell/taste, different effect. Just having the same two parent strains (not the same parent PLANTS, mind you) doesn't make them the same strain.

This is by far my favorite place.

Wish they had more selection at times, but everything they do have is fire.

No more looking thru 40+jars to find 1-2 diamonds in the rough.

Regarding renaming comment above..

They usually have deathstar and bio in. They are very different strains.

Great group of people working there as well. Always friendly and no attitudes.

Thanks for the question fUNKYcDOG.

Our grower has had Bio-Diesel for many years and it has many distinct characteristics that Death Star does not share.

Often we carry Death Star and Bio-Diesel on our shelves next to each other and though they have a similar scent, their effect is noticeably different and so is the appearance.

If you look at the pictures attached, you can see how much more purple the Bio-Diesel is, and the structure of the buds are different.

Though Death Star and Bio-Diesel have similar genetics they are distinct in their own ways.

Death Star tends to lack the racy quality that many Diesels share, when you feel the high in your chest and your heart seems to beat harder than usual.
Bio-Diesel has this effect in abundance, more than any other strain that I have smoked.

When our budtenders talk about the differences between the two strains they talk about Death Star exhibiting more heavy, indica-like traits while Bio-Diesel has the raciness of Sour Diesel and a heavy body effect at the same time.

We just pulled some really great sub-critical butane extractions that are super tasty and potent.

I noticed you guys have quarkle, it said it was out of stock when do you guys plan to have a new batch in?

We do have Querkle in our garden.

We had it for a short time because we only had a few plants of it.

We were testing out phenotypes.

We found a great pheno of it and expect to have more in the next few harvests.

I'll post an update here when our next harvest of it is ready.

We have Durban Poison on the shelves now, but it is from a different harvest. As soon as that runs out, in a few days, the Durban Poison featured in the picture will be on the top shelf.

It is an accidental cross of Bio-Diesel (Sour Diesel x Sensi Star) and Gumbo (Clone Only).

It has an amazingly sweet taste and hits like a true Hybrid Indica with an intensity that is matched only by Bio-Diesel, but is heavier and more sedative than its parent.
