earliest pictures i have
newer pictures
...early week 4! looking good
newest pictures week 4! (better quality)
Looks good. Do you have a fan on it? The reason I ask is because the stems are kinda spindly. (Could be the strain tho..)
Here's a pic of my Auto AK47 @ week 4. Notice the size of the stems, and also its flowering all up and down the main stem.
.....newest pictures.... Should she be more developed than this for an autoflower? to me she looks healthy, any help or tips would be appreciated
yeah i have a fat on it rainhaze, could this stem be a problem for the plant?
Looks good and healthy.
What lights are you using, and how far away from the plants are they?
theres just a 60watt (i think) gro-lux flourescent tube, and 2 cfl's
the tube is around 5 inches above the top of the plant and the cfls are a little higher at each side
Hi mate good job so far. I also use cfls and you want to have them as close as possible to your plant. i keep mine about an inch of the top of my plants yet the bulb is so cool it doesnt burn them. this has to be done as light doesnt penetrate very well, so for best results get them closer ! also do you have drainage holes in that big container ? If not you will encounter some ph issues soon enough which arent worth the hassle, ive been there and done that ! Definately invest in a ph pen and some up and down solution if you have the money, will work wonders, took my 2 grows before i realised this ! Anyway, you got a nice lookin girl, keep it up. Charbud
thanks charbud, yes there is drainage holes in the bottom of the container, i was told to only water once a week does this sound right? and ill check ebay for the ph kit, cheers
Well it depends on how quickly your medium drys up. I wouldnt set a time to water but more so when your plant needs it. If the soil is dry, water her. Probs the easiest way to do it. You need to let the soil dry up so that the roots can get oxygen. If there always wet they will find this hard so ye jsut water when necesary. In regards to the ph pen, i recently got one of the more expensive ones of ebay, cost me 30 quid but i can put money on that it will be better than one of the chinese pieces of crap that dilute the market on ebay.
Essentials Digital pH Pen Test Meter Hydroponics on eBay (end time 02-Jan-11 10:53:50 GMT)
worth every penny. And search for ' ph up and ph down'. About 10 for both bottles and they will last you ages.
Im off to bed but any more questions, dont hesitate, everyones here to help ! Char
Charbuds giving you some excellent advise.
Also a good thing to have is a digital thermometer/hydrometer. Try to keep your temps around 78 degrees fahrenheit. What lighting schedule are you using? This is my 3rd auto grow, and I get good results with 20/4.
Your looking good for first grow cairnzy, keep us posted.
Yeah I'm on 20/4 too, ill sort the ph kit and I've been meaning to get a thermometer too, cheers for the advice ill keep updating the pictures and hopefully get a nice yeild for a first timer
Does anyone know if its normal for some of the white hairs to turn orange this early only there are a few turning orange, other than that she's doing great! Ill keep you posted with more pics soon as. Cheers
Mine are doing the same. It's just doing it's thing. Not to worry.:thumbsup:Quote:

Oh great, nice to hear. Cheers RAINHAZE
here are some pictures i took earlier today (not as good quality ill get some shots with a better camera)
..........
lookin nice mate. how long they been flowering for ? 3 weeks? feeding them nutes ? C
Cheers pal, I've only been giving it just distilled water with 'plantroidz' a friend told me to use, and its been flowering for around 10-12 days approx, are nutes essential for the plant to finish and harvest, but the compost its in said on the label it contains all the nutrients needed for up to 6 weeks.
That might be so but it might not contain the nutrients needed for a budding cannabis plant. Will probably be a more general nutrient buffer say something similar to miracle grow. Nutes arent completely necesarry, i did my whole first grow without them during flower and they turned out ok. I think if you want to get the most out of her you should buy some nutes and a ph pen, this will also speed up the learning process. Im on my third grow and only just started using a ph pen and nutes ! C
Thanks for the help Charbud, im pretty broke at the moment and havent really got the money to buy a PH pen although i will buy 1 for the next time round and if i was to get some nutes, could i start using them now or do you have to use them all the way through the grow? also how much do nutes cost and is there any you would reccomend? Cheers
Fair enough if you haven't got the cash, we all have those times..you can start giving them to her now but at a weaker strength to the recommended strength. at least half strength id say. I'm not an expert when it comes to nutes, as i said i only jsut started to use them properly but a common brand which is quite reuptable is canna. They do a whole range of nutrients but for you id recommend canna boost and canna pk13/14. There available on ebay from the uk, pk13/14 is about 3 quid for a small bottle but the boost is about 15. Use the boost throughout flowering(half strength see how she reacts) until a week before harvest and use the pk from week 5 - 7. Then plain water from week 7.5 onwards to get rid of any nasties left inside of the plant. Hope this helps, CQuote:

.....
to me it doesnt look bushy enough and looks spindly like RAINHAZE mentioned, do you think the lights are too far away and shes growing to the light too quick or could this be other problems? or could it just be the strain, also could anyone estimate how many more weeks were looking at before harvest, other than that shes looking healthy. CHEERS
:Diesel looks good should harvest expected date.
