ok new to the site. not new to smoking. however, im new to growin. i know its a little late to be doing this. but i did it for fun. i took 5 seeds, germinated them, put them in a 5 gallon bucket, transplanted them, 2 died, i have three right now. when i transplanted i left the two best growing ones stay in the bucket. ones a male and its purple. the other im thinkin female. its been a month or so and in theyre in the flowering stage. i need some advice on whether i should pull the male and leave the other one or what? ill post pics in about a 20 min. so bear with me.

unless you want seeds you need to chop the male ASAP. it's probably too late as it is.

Seeds in the buds? How much longer until I should see the trichs

you got a few weeks before trichomes but all strains are diffrent...and from the looks of it you have another 6 weeks till harvest...chop that male and allow that female to grow by herself...you may have a few seeds, but no biggie, next time plant in diffrent pots pots, and the things in ur soil are just baby sprouts of the other type of weeds....means u have fertile soil wich is very good

6 weeks? You think it'll be too cold by then? I can't bring these in unless I'm drying them.

It gets to about 57 around here. They've done great.

the best thing you can do is let them run and chop them just before your first frost.

If you know its going to frost put a blanket or something over it till morning and this will buy you some time. Maybe a few nice afternoon sunny days.

If you are in northern virginia then 6 weeks from now will be too cold at night. You can wrap the containers they are in up in something to keep them warm and cover the plants at night. Will be difficult to get them to finish since you cant bring them in and cant wake up on time to uncover them. Good luck.
