HELP, Problems During Flowing!!
Now here are some pictures of my Romulan showing some problems.....

http://i180.photobucket.com/albums/x...4/DSC01178.jpg
The wilting you can somewhat see in the last Photo, She has purple Stems but iʻm not sure that itʻs the strain as itʻs showing with the Wilt.
As for the other Photos, iʻm not sure if itʻs just nute Burn or a nute deficiency. Iʻve only Given Botanicare Pro Bloom Soil 18ml per gallon, some Molasses and given 1 feeding of Monster Bloom around the 9th day of flowering with the Pro Bloom. My Water Ph is between 6.4-7.0
Could it be that theyʻre Root-Bound ?? my other big Girl Purple Kush is now showing similar coloring on some of its large Secondary Fan leaves. Theyʻre in 3 Gallon pots..... and the 2 biggies are at the least 2 1/2-3 ft tall and equally as wide.
What the fuck is going on :wtf:

nute burn or light burn, but it seems to be towards the bottom,so im thinking nutrien burn...i would flush the containor<water till its pouring out the drain holes, then feed at half strength....should be good...
but im an outdoor grower,im only giving my opinion from what i have read lots of times..

HELP, Problems During Flowing!!
Yeah iʻm thinking it might just be nute burn, considering i forgot to PH my water after i added nutes once about 10 days ago. Iʻm thinking it was so acidic that it locked up and after i gave PHʻs water to lower the plants finally stated to take up the water and nutes.
Iʻm still not 100% sure..... itʻll take a few days to find out of im correct of not, hopefully i am but if not... my ladies are fucked!!
Hopefully one of the Big Dogs like Rusty will come in here and lay some knowledge down!!!!

5.5 hours later you still haven't filled out the form, but now you want advice. you want someone to go out of their way to help you with YOUR plants and you can't even fill out a form? wtf!

your friend gave you "advice" but you still are seeking answers here. and you "figured" you bypassed the troubleshooting "gimmick". that "gimmick" you speak of is in place to help YOU give us the info we need to provide the most accurate diagnosis we can with the info given. this way we don't have to ask question after question trying to pry info out of someone too lazy or stupid to use google or buy a fucking book (or read the Grow FAQs and stickies in the Basic Growing . meanwhile the whole time YOUR plants are getting worse! you think this shit doesn't get old. every dickhead on the planet thinking they can grow weed, no problem.
so if you would have just filled out the form you would have had a much better diagnosis and plants already on the road to recovery......YESTERDAY!

so here it is 24 hours later and you are still GUESSING as to what is happening to your ladies.
it would take a problem 7-10 days to manifest in soil (as well as the same amount of time to show signs of improvement).

boy, you sure tried your best to fill out that form to save your plants you care so much about. if you don't care about your plants then why the fuck should we?
and since you gave us

i guess we know what your lighting source is?
how long have they been in flower?
how often are you feeding/watering?
on a lighter note!-
the plant doesn't look root bound. and guess what?! it's real easy to check this one. when the soil dries out a bit pull her up out of the pot and a take a look at the rootball. (are there roots coming out of the bottom of the container?)
it looks like a lack of light for one.
when is the last time they have had any significant source of nitrogen?
and by the way, the first thing rusty would do is to tell you to fill out the form!

HELP, Problems During Flowing!!
What is your experience level? First time growing indoors
Your Equipment:
.1) Type and wattage of lights. HPS-600watt for flower
.2) Distance from tops- 2 ft
.3) Reflector type- Air cooled Radiant 6 by hydrofarm
.4) Is there a consistent fresh air supply- somewhat, I have a grow tent with a few opeings that allow me to pull in fresh air from outside with the window open(secure yard)
.5) Do you have an exhaust fan and a circulation fan- I have and can fan sucking the hot air from the reflector and a small fan blowing through the plants
.6) What are the bulb wattages, kelvin ratings, and schedule- My Bulb is a 600 watt lumatek HPS. 12/12
Your medium:
.7) Specific brand and type of soil- 3 parts Fox Farm Ocean forest mixed with 1 part light warrior
.8) Size of container- 3 Gallon Tiered pot(supposed to be badass pots)
.9) Did you use peat pucks (or similar) to root clones or germinate seedlings- Clones I got from a local MMC.
Your nutrients and water:
10) Source of water? Tap
-What's it's ph before adjusting- Around 7.5-8
11) Method of checking water ph. PH Drops with Up and Down.
12) Method of adjusting water ph. UP/Down drops
13) Specific brand and N-P-K ratio for each bottle. List dosages (quantity per gallon) and current feeding schedule.-
Botanicare Pure blend Pro bloom soil formula- 1-4-5, 20ml per gallon
Growtek Monster Bloom- 0-50-30, 1 gram per gallon
14) How often are you watering between feedings, and how much per watering- I Feed, Water, Feed... right now im on Feed, Water, Water, Feed
15) Any additives or tea's- I gave Molasses once at the onset of flowering
16) Are your ph levels stable, or do they fluctuate- Fairly stable between 6.3-6.6
17) What is your ingoing water's ph- 6.3-6.6
-your runoff ph- I canʻt check my runoff since the drops donʻt work well with runoff
18) Do you foliar feed- No
Your growroom:
19) Indoors or outdoors-Indoor
20) What size of closet, room or hut- Grow tent 4x4x7
21) What are the temps and humidity levels while lights are on- Humidity 35%-45% Temps 73F-78F
-With lights off- Humidity between 30-45% temps 70F-75F
22) Have you seen signs of insects in the growroom- Only Thrips
Your strain:
23) What strain are you growing? Purple Kush and Romulan
24) From seeds or clones- Clones
25) Is this an autoflower strain- No

HELP, Problems During Flowing!!
I wasʻt able to fill that sheet out since I had 6 mid terms to study for as well my GRE and MCAT prep. Graduate school and the obscene amount of money iʻm paying for my education took a bit of a precedent over spending 25 minutes to fill this sheet out; furthermore iʻve seen plenty of other folks post just pictures and ask help and shit gets solved. I though I could have been afforded the same luxury
Like I said at my earliest convenience I WILL FILL OUT THE TROUBLE SHOOTING SHEET.
Trouble shooting sheet is filled out above..... lets see if it makes a difference in the amount of replyʻs I get.

HELP, Problems During Flowing!!
From looking at the pics they look like over fert plus a lack of nitrogen. Like shake asked, whens the last significant nitrogen dose? I might have missed it but didnt see the info on wks into flower and how long they are supposed to take.

I havenʻt given any nitrogen at all, atleast that iʻm aware of. They are at day 21 of flowering. The 2 iʻm having issues with are a purple kush and Romulan, so iʻd have to say around 60 days.
Im gonna flush tonight again with water thats at about 7.3 Ph to hopefully lower everything and help flush emʻ out. i have some Veg nutes that are 3-2-4, should i give them some of that or is there supplement i can use that is only nitrogen ? Also should i give me nitrogen now or since its showing alot of nute burn and just flush like i planned on ??

HELP, Problems During Flowing!!
FP, first off you posted 4 pics in your first post....four pics you had to first upload to photobucket. TWO minutes later you posted the infamous line about how your are gonna try to fill out the troubleshooting form. as a matter of fact you posted FOUR times before anyone else did.
if it takes you 25 minutes to fill out the troubleshooting form then perhaps higher education, let alone gardening is not for you.
if you want to trust your plants to the GUESSES others get from pics then go for it. any respectable memeber around here who can solve your problems are all gonna tell you the same thing "fill out the form". the form is put in place to save both YOU and US time (really three, your plants too). not to mention save us the headache of trying to drag the info out, as is having to be done now. this also allows those of us giving advice the most information we can have to make an ACCURATE, PROPER DIAGNOSIS. again, if you want to trust guesses with you ladies then by all means. not to mention, if people are just throwing answers out how would you know who to trust?
if you bothered reading my post, you would of noticed i gave you advice at the end. what a noble concept right, someone giving advice in the plant problems section. GASP!
if your big ladies are 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall then you are gonna start loosing light at the bottom of your ladies. even with a 1000W HID you only get about 2 1/2 to 3 feet of canopy penetration. those bottom leaves are not getting enough light. the plant is moving the mobile elements to places they can be used and dieing off.
if you don't truly know your runoff pH then why would you flush with water pH'd to 7.3? you are aware this will raise your pH correct? do you have a pH pen?
blood meal is fact acting (using sparingly) and if you get something salt based go with something that contains ammonium nitrate as it is soluble and fast acting.
where exaclty is the plant showing nute burn?

HELP, Problems During Flowing!!
my simple answer is it looks like they are under fertilized (N) and arent getting enough light.
I have some ocean forrest growing alongside sunshine#4, most of the grow being sunshine 4 atm. SO, I am lazy and feed the sunshine4 & ocean forrest at 6.1, and I keep nutes below 1100 before addition of calmag at 5ml/g. My ocean forest girls seem to love it.
considering you are using soil, make some guano tea. use half and half seabird/bat. use this instead of one regular feeding.
If this is all happening to the bottom 1/3 of your plant, my advice (is always) to remove that crap. It never makes nice buds and the plant can use that energy in better ways!
all at your own risk ; )

HELP, Problems During Flowing!!
Itʻs progressed up through the entire plant basically. I gave em 5 ml of 3-2-4 last night and some super thrive I Phʻd that at about 7.3 to hopefully raise the PH of them to about 6.5.
Today while iʻm out iʻm gonna look at some straight blood meal and some guano teas. Iʻm gonna Raise the ladies up about another Ft. and hit it with a mild yet nitrogen rich feeding of either Guano tea, Blood meal or a combination of Guano/sea bird tea.
@ Shake... They were showing nute burn on the lower big fan leaves that looked to have a big lack of N, the tips were burnt and curled up before the problem progressed. The Nute burn looks to be completely gone down, iʻm just gonna try and address the N deficiency and possible lack of light not penetrating the canopy.
@ Copo....... iʻm gonna look into the Guano/Sea bird mix.
Thanks guys, iʻll update accordingly.... hopefully itʻll be gone soon and i can just update my grow log

that wasn't nute burn at the end of those fans. that a typical sign of the progression of an nitrogen deficiency, as is the problems starting at the bottom and progressing upwards.
if you had nute burn in would show over the ENTIRE plant.
again, light penetration is a partial culprit here.
don't sweat the dead one's at the bottom. like copobo stated, you can always lollipop them. they won't do much anyway on plants that big and the energy (and nutrients) can be used better elsewhere.
that might not be enough nitrogen. just keep an eye on them. you should see changes in the NEW growth first as nitrogen is a mobile element. the old stuff won't repair itself if too damaged. some might green back up.
good growing!

Thanks man!!
I raised emʻ up about 14 inches and now there only about 1ft away from the light. Iʻm gonna keep a very close eye on the new growth with what iʻm doing to supplement the problem. I finally got some bloodmeal but iʻm going to wait and see how they do with the current solution, as well im gonna feed em tonight with 15ml of 3-2-4 (veg formula) and 15ml of 1-4-5(bloom nute) and ph the water to 6.5.
Hopefully this will help emʻ finally turn the naught corner for good. They seem to be slowly getting better, a few large fan leaves are getting worse but overall they seem to be getting better. Iʻll update my Grow log with pictures either tonight or tomorrow morning.

your welcome.
as far as light placement, a good rule of thumb is to put your hand at canopy level. you should be able to hold it there for 5 seconds before you need to move it. light is goverened by the inverse square law (light twice as far away from the source is only 1/4 as strong).
good luck with all the school by the way.
