Robitussin SAFE extraction

ok so i just punked a bottle of "Robitussin DM Cough Control" And yes it contains "Guaifenesin" The chemical which makes you hurl like crazy... Anyways i was looking on the internet and couldint find and suitable extraction methods... I was worried if i try and extract DXM i might fuck up and end up taking ammonia, or lighter fluid. So basically what im sayiong is, is there a way to extract DXM from cough syrup without using these seriously dangerous chemicals? i've never extracted before so i don't want to fuck up... Could i only use lemon juice mabye? I cannot for the life of me find a cough syrup in my town containing only DXM.. i think we might have some ban from them.. and this is the only cough syrup i can get which contains DXM,and no other DEADLY chemicals (Guaifenesin makes you sick, doesnt kill you though) i've recently downed some of this syrup, but when i drink more then half the bottle i can't help but puke...i just LOVE the feeling DXM give you, and i want to hallucinate off it! Now if i can't extract DXM without using fucked up chemicals, is there some cough pills which only contain DXM? if so please state.. Thanks.

OK i see why some people think the guifisen is such a big deal but being the ENORMUS dxm addict i was let me tell you ive drank 2 Robotussin DM 8 oz bottles in one sitting with the guifisen i didnt puke at all. I never had a bad gufisien trip it really doesnt bother me

If you sucessfully extract the DXM using ammonia, ligrion , and citric acid the Guaifenesin will recrystallize out with the DXM when you add the ammonia. so if you follow the liquid-liquid extraction proceedure you will still get Guaifenesin in your product. Liquid-liquid extraction is simple in theory but it is difficult to actually do successfully, especially without a glass separatory funnel. I have found that doing extractions without a funnel is easiest to do in very small amounts at a time, by shaking the freebase with the petr. ether and then pouring it into a short glass and using a medicine dropper to suck off the top organic layer. It is tedious and time consuming but I have been able successfully extracted fatty acids, oils, and terpenes with medicine droppers. In organic chem lab when we worked on microscale we used droppers to extract out of vials rather than using funnels. Separating Guaifenesin from DXM would not work by freebasing and would require another method.

It might be a good Idea to 'wash' (i.e. do extractions with your solutions and solvents to help clean them to make them purer) your petr. ether with sodium chloride solution, baking soda solution and then a few times with water to try to help get some of the impuriteis. You will then want to drain out as much of the water as you can throw away and then add some salt to the washed ether to dry the remaining water from the solvent. Then you can decant the washed and dried solvent into a storage container. You would want to do allot for a stock solution of the ligroin.

Then take some of the stock petr. ether and wash your ammonia with it to make a ammonia stock solution. Pour petr. ether waste from ammonia washing into marked waste bottle and store. so then you will have the remaining washed petr. ether that you did not use to prepare your ammonia and your washed ammonia stock to use for the extraction.

You also want to kepp all your wast chemicals in separate containers so you don't mix somthing like ammonia and bleach on accident. You also want to keep ethyl ether away from bleach, oxidzing agents, and air to help prevent explosion. Remember you don't want a fire!

You can burn all you waste oganics in the camp fire. Carefully as not to severly hurt yourself.

Well I have to tell you, from my one experience with DXM, it's not worth going through all that. Surely there must be one brand of medicine in Canada that contains DXM only. I mean, make sure to check as thoroughly as you can. If there is absolutely nothing, then I would say don't even bother with DXM, because, in my opinion, it's not great.

I LOVE THE DXM HIGH. It's not that there arnt any dxm only containing syrups in canada, its that i can't find any in my town. It's so shitty. i cant find and cough gels or anything either... i want to hallucinate, and i just quit pot for awhile.. I NEED TO GET HIGH!!!

problem solved: SUCRETS!!! After constant researched i discoved sucrets contain DXM in them, so i punked 2 boxes... 18 losenges in each(270mg dxm) im thinking i will pop 19 tonight. im so EXCITED FINALLY I GET TO HALLUCINATE! i will keep you updated on my trip.

10:30 Popped them about 30 mins ago went downstairs to get a sweater and mistoke a bag on the floor for a persons face...weird... still not feeling it though, mabye i was anticipating it too much. Well half an hour to wait!

270mg? You won't hallucinate on that. I do agree that DXM rules though I love it too. You have to reach 3rd plateau to hallucinate I believe, prolly around 800-900mg. I'm doing an 8oz this weekend, should be fun.

dxm gells are the best for trippin about 650 will be good however iv never had any real hardcore halucinations on it. here in the US we really want to go to canada just to get pure dxm pills i hear that there are 20mg gells up there you cant get in the us. try mail ordering, going to a bigger town, or just asking the store owner to get some make up some lame excuse like the syrup makes you puke....which it does youd be surprised what a little persistance and niceness can get you

also i just realised this but really you should only trip on pure dxm because pain killers and the other stuff in caugh supresants are really fucking bad for your body id take shrooms or weed over dxm anyday also it may be hard to find but dtm kicks ass

Yeah painkillers prolly aren't too good, and thats prolly why I can't feel my body when I'm on it. But I doubt it's that bad as long as you don't binge. T'is fun though. :)

K not much happend that night, i didnt feel the DXM high very strongly, i felt giggly, and a little high, but after away i felt like shit and really sleepy.. i just did a sucrets extraction, got 270mg's of pure DXM powder, filling up some capz soon.. then ill try again.

ok so i've got about 12 trays of sucrets. doing a huge extraction tommorow....prolly only extracting the 9 trays (810mg of DXM) Enough to trip right? can't wait to get my first hallucinations.

Ok so the trip was a success, most strong trip yet, i saw pink rivers running in my ceiling anddd saw bumps all over my walls. when i stared at objects they tended to move around, it was fucking sweet. i was tripping for 5 hours.. cant wait itll my next trip, maby take a little more next time, the hallucinations werent that strong. i hjad an amazing body buzz and shit though. i love DXM :) My friend also tripped on DXM the other night, he said he didnt think he was human and thought he was hitler. He said he saw alot of halluciantions too, it was his first time. He's hooked now too. He has diabetes, i thought he may die or something, but he didnt.

i dont think we do i tried to find it, but im done wit syrups anyways, i am only doing straight DXM powder now.
