I've read off of Erowid.com that Dramamine and Dramamine II cause you to Hallucinate. I have 12 tabs of Bonine which only active ingredient is meclizine, and I want to take them, but I don't know if the effects will be like/ the same as Dramamine's. Anyone know?
I've had a freind that has taken bonine but im not sure what it was like. all i know is that he was kinda paranoid about everything. I've done dramamine before , i took a whole thing(12 pills), and i remember seeing my freinds floating around when they were not even there. I don't know ne thing else

The side effects are similar to dramamine, drowsiness....generally you'll get a feeling of wanting to sit, or lie down, and sleeeeeep....should be ok though, don't take them all at one time...maybe 2 at a time...it is prescription, so be careful, they're generally stronger...you can do a google or yahoo search for the word meclizine and you'll be shown many articles about side effects and interactions and all that...I recommend reading as much as you can before taking any new drug...
Thanks jadeius, I did just as you said and checked out its side effects and interactions. Considering I do not take any other prescription/any other drug, I think I will be ok. I just popped 2 of them, and I am going to wait about 40 mn in case I am allergic, which im almost positive im not. From there on, I will take a few more. I am not going to go higher than 8 as of right now, but if nothing is happening, i may take 3 more later on. If anyone else has anything to say about the effects of this drug, let me know. Thanks!
If 2 does nothing and doesn't make you feel bad, then take 3 next time, just be careful as i've never taken those...I could help more if it was something I've taken which is practically everything else prescription...
Well from the look of the box these are not presciption, it says "Bonine: Value Size!" on the front. And they are chewable tablets which tasted like cherry. I swallowed them anyway. I have taken 4 so far, and starting to feel a bit different. Not in a bad way, just "different" I'll let you know the outcome in a bit.

i hate how during the trip u get kind of uncomfortable. i think the purpose of a drug is to make u more comfortable. i dont think its worth being uncomfortable and feeling kinda shitty just to hallucinate, but whatever floats your boat
right....i know trying to trip on benadryl is a BITCH...it makes you feel awful...can't stand up, can't sit, can't lie down, just can't make up your fucking mind...OH, that was a BAD idea, drinking vodka after taking all those pills, you WILL be fucked up now, probably passed out by now...
Haha it was a joke, I was just trying to say that the Bonine shit doesn't work, but there are drugs that will always work, and you don't really have to be afraid of them. Like weed, and booze, etc. I'm gonna quit trying things I find around the house, cuz they usually never work and are just stupid. Later
if you want an otc high, get a bottle of delsym with ONLY dextromethorphan...i just got advised on that and I'm surely gonna try it...
yeah, most otc stuff is a waste...that's why it's otc...

Thats sweet, I should give that I try. I've never tripped before, so I dont know if I want to be hallucinating for hours on end, so maybe I would stick to a little more than half the bottle. I am def. gonna try that sometime though, it sounds like a lot of fun.
