What's your opinion of 'BUMFIGHTS'?.....

[Sorry if this has been discussed before]


I don't really know what to think about it. Yes, homeless people ARE being exploited because they are desperate for money and will do anything; but on the other hand they are not being physically forced to participate.
This will probably make me a bad person or something but at least I'm honest-I did find some of the things they did entertaining but not the violent stuff, I didn't like watching them being encouraged to fight. The guy who was filming, that Ryan somebody was talking through his arse when he said he was just showing people the reality of things, what a liar. The homeless were only doing that stuff because they were offered money, it's not reality when somebody interferes and manipulates situations.
What did make me laugh and I feel bad for doing so was the parody of Steve Irwin, it was called 'Bum-Hunter' lol. Where the guy went around looking for hobos who were sleeping and tied them up and stuff.
At the end of this documentary it showed something a lot more serious. A group of fake-ass gangsta wannabes filming fights in Las Vegas. They would force people into fights who didn't even want to fight. Sometimes a whole group would attack just one person, I hate people who can only fight in groups, fuckin shitbags. You probably heard about this when it happened but someone hurled a rock through a car window and it hit the boy in the face and smashed all his cheek bone and eye socket. What the fuck is wrong with people? The car was doing about 80, then you've got the speed of the rock coming towards it, imagine the force of the impact. Why are they so stupid that they can't see the damage they cause and the hurt they cause to people's families? It's just degenerate.

Bumfights is the fucking shit. I support everything they be doin, just because i'm like that. Have you seen 2 or 3? if not you must :D BFK 4 LIFE

I like Bum fights 2. The Best parts is Crates and Where the guy is in the parking lot smashing car windows and getting the stuff out the cars. I thought that was totally the shiz-nit.

I've heard of Bumfights, but I haven't seen them yet. I would love to check it out sometime.

I cant believe how anyone would enjoy watching it, let alone orchastrating it. Seriously, I don't get it.

i personally would rather watch conditioned, skilled fighters. i like to see gameness and heart rather than pathetic drunks beating each other sence-less.

The best Bumfights moment is with Mack C "The Pimp" in his joint. When he showed off his ride I laughed so fucking hard. Out of the three I'd say the second one was the best. I know these things are bad, and I don't support them at all, but what am I to do? At least I'm not paying for these movies, so these fuckers ain't getting my money.

when I was in california 1 month ago I was walking in Santa Monica, right on the ocean when I strolled upon a homeless convention, or so it seemed. Must have been 100 homeless ppl on the sidewalk. All of the sudden I am walking by them to get to my car when one pulls out a golf club and cracks another guy with it. Kind of amusing but sad.
