first time grower, and i know the indoor plant is now budding. is it too late to add that budding stuff? The plant is about 5' tall and buds were evident last week. Also, just how big is this monster going to be?
Thanks,
Laura Jean

ya plant will stop stretching after about 2 weeks of 12/12 then it starts budding yep you can start with the flower nutes.. what nutes are you going to use..? and what strain is it..
mick..
i just put some seeds in the ground and they grew. this one was outside and i transplanted it to bud inside. don't know much about anything... it was with my tomato plants so it had miracle grow, that's it besides water and sunshine.
the seeds were in some weed my son had (he's the patient, i don't smoke) i think it was kushage
do you have tomato feed for ya tom plants if so i think it would be better to grow ya plant with that rather than the MG..what lights are you using..
mick..
tomatos just get MG
lights are florescent garage lights, but when it's under 95 degrees i set her outside to sun for a few hours. helps with the CO2 maybe? i'm a pretty passive grower i guess, but it's working! just not sure how to get bigger buds
are you giving the plant 12 hours of dark and 12 hours of light?..
you can put it out side for 12 and inside in the dark for 12 it might turn out to be a male.. geez 5 ft ya looking at 8 foot maybe if its still stretching.
ya buds will get bigger over the next 7/8 weeks use the MG at half the recomended dose for now..
thanks so much for your help. i'm buying a timer today because some nights i forget to turn off the light until 7:30...13 hours or so of light. i don't want her confused. i will have to move her from the closet :) or bend her a little if she grows much taller.
thanks again, i feel like i'm on the right track.
ya welcome laura have fun..Quote:

Most (all?) MG products are formulated for a 10 day to 2 week application rate. Double check directions, and don't overdo it. Watch 'em closely, and ask for assistance if need be. MG can be a tricky nutrient, but make sure you're using the right tool for the job. (higher nitrogen formula for growth phase, low nitrogen and high phosphorous formula for flowering) You can't use the MG All Purpose for the entire grow.
The light is about 3" from the top of the plant, and I'm moving it to a different closet with higher ceiling  It's on chains to keep it at that distance.
I found some 'Color Bloom' 15-30-15 (Nitrogen, Phosphate, Potash), so that will hopefully help the blooms. I just used a little; I tend to agree that these plants know what to do on their own.
I was a little concerned that the centers were a lighter green than the rest of the plant, but I see that's not uncommon? Should I be worried?
