PLEASE HELP. First time grow .
Okay, I posted a few pics about my problems with my 4 or so week plant:
Brown/yellowish tips on the leaves and tiny white spots on the leaf (View Pics).
I haven't added one drop of nutes since I started the grow, my soil mix was pretty amazing for the first 3 weeks or so. OH and if you look at the overall pic it looks like if the leaves are "drooling" in a drippy way, they stand back up then fall a bit( weird explanation I know, but I am sure you will know what I am talking about)
PLEASE HELPPP!!!!!!!!! WHAT SHOULD I DO !!!!!!
:(
THANK YOU!!
P.S: I was going to get some organic fertilizers this afternoon. One being highly concentrated in N level, and one highly concentrated in P levels for the flowering stage. Plus I was thinking of getting some micronutes ( Fish emulsion ? ).

if its been in that pot for 4 weeks you might wanna re pot it into somethign bigger but the pot is clear can ya see the roots on tha sides
PLEASE HELP. First time grow .
you dont have to feed the plants nutrients in order to get nutrient burn, if your ph is off then the plant cant take in the nutes that are in the soil. more of a nutrient lock out. do you know the ph of soil, water going in and water going out? just a guess w/o knowing everything.
h
looks like you may be in cali? or somewhere that growing is ok (meaning that grow shops are more available other places) so get to the grow shop and get some food that is made for these kinda plants ya know
ph test kit is like 5$ at walmart or they will have them at the grow shop.

Roots don't like light. So change pots or put something around the bottle so that the roots get 0 sunlight. First thing i noticed.
Keep us updated!

I didn't know that !! Thanks a million, I will cover up the pot as soon as possible.
I went and got 20-20-20 NPK nutes, should I apply the fert now ? Or cover up the pot before and see what happens ?
Man I am not in cali, I live in the middle east.
Haha canargoyle !!!!

You need to re pot the thing before you do anything as was posted, roots die when they see light. Also, is there drainage holes in the bottom? You need some perlite or something to help with the drainage problem. After this you can add the nutes, but half dose to start, then water, then half nutes to see how she takes it. Re pot when the soil is dry and it should slide right out.

Yes I put drainage holes in the bottom so the soil can stay humid.
I will cover it up for now until I go get some bigger pots.
Is it normal that the bottom leaves turn yellow ?
I added the 20-20-20 nutes, a very little dose that leach with water so the roots can absorb it just to see what happens. Ill post newer pics tomorrow afternoon.
Btw the pot is a 10 L pot isn't that enough ?
Thanks everyone for your input, I appreciate it alooooot.

You live in the middle east? Do you know what strain that plant is?
Would be cool if it was some afghani or paki landrace.

LetsSeeYa, I covered up the pot added some nutes ( 20-20-20 ) 3 days ago and the soil has dried up yet for me to repot, is that normal ? And as if the nutes hasn't kicked in... Making nearly all of the leafs tips turn yellow...
Please look at the pics and tell me what's wrong ? I don't want her to die on me :(
I was trying to search on the net to find out what strain is my plant and I came to the conclusion that it was an Indica ? What do you think ?
Sorry for hassling you with all these questions but first time grower...

Its not going to die, they can take a lot of abuse at this time, but ya want to stabilize her before to long. Just wait till the soil is dry, i wrote up a ''how to re pot'' in here so maybe read it. But when ya do re pot it make sure the soil has good drainage. Plus make sure there are plenty of holes in the bottom of the pot, because its not to keep the soil moist, but to drain water as you feed it. Did you start the ferts at 1/4 strength? If not ya might have some nute burn, but just back off on the ferts and give water after you re pot. Then when the plant looks healthy start ferts again, but at 1/4 of the recommended amount to get your plant used to it. Then add more as your looks better and the yellow tips are gone.
Sometimes if the soil doesnt drain well, you get pockets of mucky water and soil mix. So your roots dont get the oxygen the plant needs so you can see the yellow you are describing. So could be lack of drainage or to much ferts. To fix it, id re pot and letting it look almost dead with leaves all droopy will not kill it. See the before pic in the how to thread i made, that plant was bone dry man. And make sure you got the drainage i was talking about, then use plain water for a week and il bet she will look better.

As far as strain your never going to know that for sure in less you ordered from a seed bank. But there is two types of cannabis, which is Indica and sativa so your going to have a mix of the two. Could be 80%-20% Indica-sativa or the other way. And depends on just how they were bread, so you will never know. Just goggle the 2 and you will understand or look at a seed bank will also help you see the differences. Indica will grow shorter and flower a bit more early and sativa will be taller and takes a bit longer for it to finish. Really dosnt matter im sure if you just take care of her she will reward ya good:jointsmile:
Hope this helps bro good luck:weedpoke:

First of all thanks a lot for your reply, it was really useful. I am going to get a new pot as soon as I can so I can re pot it, I read your thread about re potting without stress so I can guess I will follow the instructions, I was quite surprised to see that in 2h15 min the leaves weren't droopy anymore so I guess my plant is root bound. Ill keep you updated if your interested...
As for the nutes, I wont add any until I repot.
Thanks a lot!!!

Ok man I repotted, 5 min ago, as you can see on the pic its a master piece hehe. I couldnt get it straight... What do you think ?
So I watered it afterwards and now I am waiting, I hope it will work out....
And for the Perlite issue, I ordered 500g and I am getting it on Monday. So will I be able to flush the perlite with water or will I have to re-transplant to mix the perlite with the soil ?
Cheers :rasta:

You will be fine man, but yeah you mix your soil with the perlite. About 25% to 75% will give you great drainage. You will luv this stuff, but iv heard its not good to breath in the dust so id run water through it or maybe ware a mask. Its great for your soil. And yes it was 2;45 after i re potted that plant. I even have one after 45 min. that looks amassing, but wanted to show the better pic.
Oops i meant 25 perlite an 75 soil....in your pot will be great:thumbsup:
You might just see how she does and use the perlite mix on the next re pot. Its good to fill a pot with roots then put in a different pot, then just keep putting your plant in bigger pots. It will grow faster and will be healthy.
So hows she looking?

Man, the leaves are still droopy and the soil is pretty muddy ( I watered 2 days ago) so I guess you were right from the first post, I have a PERLITE issue, the drainage is pretty bad which is making my plant weak. I should have listened from the beginning, but first grow and a lot of mistakes at least I am learning...
For around 30 L of soil how many grams of perlite will I need?
U should give agricultural courses.
Thanks.
PLEASE HELP. First time grow .
when adding the perlite what ever amount of soil it takes to fill your pot with when you do a re pot then just make 25% of that soil perlite and you will be good so you end up with 25% perlite 75% soil

If ya have something you can wash the perlite with water your fine as it gets rid of the dust. Handling it will not hurt you its the dust thats bad for your lungs. And dont feel bad bro, i thought i could get it done with out it and about killed my seedlings. But after re potting with perlite, they are close to 6feet now, your good man. And they can look almost dead, then ya fix your problem and they perk right up.
