outdoor crop ireland 2010 so far

a friend contacted me to inspect his 2010 outdoor crop
wow pic included this was on 10th june 2010
because of location soil was very dark as its near the bog
but his little plantation stunned me it looked like something
from jamaica his varietys are durban poison holland hope
ruderallis skunk ledo uno and lambsbread soil ph was 6.0
but his advice was lots of p and k 13/14 or 9/10 keeps
the nitrogen levels down if the good weather continues
we can expect a bumper outdoor crop this year in eire
im going back to visit his progress in 2 week more pics then :thumbsup::jointsmile:

nice one, looking good. but i wish that they'd cross breed with our nettles somehow. then we'd never run out ever again.

looking really well...i'm going to some bog area aswell for my grow...i'm only on week two yet so...but i have a spot picked out! :thumbsup: So you reckon thats the problem with this kind of area , elevated nitrogen? I would have thought a more acidic soil than an alkaline one would be present? :wtf: Anyhow I'll be watching with the up-most fascination!

yup the soil ph was high here at first but feeding the soil for a month prior to transplanting he used alaska mor bloom to acheive this also used pro cilicate from grotek it stops mold and help budset ill keep ya posted :thumbsup:

Well done on your grow. Its nice to see someone that can grow outdoors in Eire. I have been trying for a while now, the weather and insects always seem to get the upper hand. Shitty cork weather. Some day i will get there!

Yeah mould seems to bed the bad business come late september and such...have to look out for that stuff! :jointsmile: yeah have to see how my grow will turn out anyhow!

i was told before that these would grown wild in our environment, is that bull? i have a place picked out but i can't be going every week to tend to them. isn't there and strain that will just grow wild?

I've just a quick question-are the plants auto-flowering or has the light pattern sufficiently changed since the longest day of the year to give roughly 12/12?
My plants are at a similar stage but I've grown them in pots outdoors and I'm currently moving them daily into a dark room at 8pm and taking them back out at 8am when heading off to work. Iâ??ve 7 plants and the seeds arenâ??t feminised so I've to wait and see how many I have to destroy.:(

nope no auto flowering types there at all just good outdoor varietys
but feeding lots of bloom and pk 13/14 have started them budding
and kept them smallish

indicahybryd must be looking at pre flowers bcos were still at 18/6..
going to be feckng monsters when they finish the stretch..in about a month..

these plants were all vegged 24hrs for 4 weeks then put out start of june
so theyve started to bud early is all simple

hey hows it going, they must be autos if ya think there in flower.. vegging 24/7 don't make them flower early ive been vegging 24/7 for yrs.photosynthsis dont kick in till theres less than 14 hours of light.. got some pics of them in flower..

I'm not telling you your business indicahybryd but I think mick has it right.With my own grow last year I stuck religiously to the 12/12 and it took a good while before I could tell I was budding.
Maybe on the plus side you'll get a bumper yield from vegging until the natural light pattern changes.

I'd say that your (buddy's) plants look great, and I hope that a bumper harvest is yer proper reward and coming sooooon....

I hope that physical security isn't a problem, because it would sure be horrible if you were visited by thieves just before cropping out.

Tell your friend to keep up the good work! Excellent choice on location by the bog--should have enough moisture in the soil even in a dry spell...

just done my first outdoor this year, all beginning to flower this week 3 alaskan ice 2 himalayan gold. pics coming soon.
if it rains on your crop, what about the soil getting too wet for too long ?

Nice outdoor grow bro tell your mate i said so. Going to try give it a go this year if it turns out half as good as your mates il be a happy man. good growing.:=)
