MI grower need some guidance
So I'm 100% new to growing got a nice bud while back ago with some seeds and me and my buddies thought it'd be cool to attempt growing so we read up and I started the germination on 5/26 four days after I germinated them I was able to plant a few today I have 4 plants my largest shows 6 leafs 2 have clear cups taped on to with tin foil underneath for the extra 10% sunlight and humidity, so my question is now what. What should my next steps be? If it helps we've had rain the past three days
Thanks all

You can always use a cell phone if ya dont have a camera. Just send it to your email, then from there save it to a folder to here, ta da:thumbsup:
Sounds to me that ya need them to get a good root base going and a bit of hight, because if ya put them out in the ground now the bugs will eat em up. What ya want to do is fill your cup with roots, then re pot, fill your pot re pot, then put them in the ground. The better you can build the roots up the faster your plants will adjust when they are in the ground. Im just below you two so iv had a ton of rain too. Just makes mine grow faster. I like to shoot them a big dose of nutes right before it rains, so they get down into the roots real well. Then let em dry out, weather permitting that is:wtf:. Try and get a pic, cuz its just a lot easier to help if we get a look at what ya got. But we are here to help so just ask:hippy:

After your plant is big enough to be put into a bigger pot, you can tie with twine and tape it to your pot. Were do you plan to grow your plants? You can use the search at the top to learn these techniques. Just type in LST method, this is something that would help you if you want to tie them down.

Right now there in small plastic cups but they will be moved into several clearins in the woods 6ft by 6ft for each allowing two plants to grow.

Well if i were you i would make sure the roots fill the cup, then re pot. Fill this pot with roots, then put it in the ground. I wouldn't worry about bending it over till they grow to 3 or 4', cuz its easy to do when they are at this size. But you need to get them to that size, before worrying about bending them over:jointsmile:

Is it a good idea to grow upside down In 2 liter bottles until the plants big enough and has a root ball that covers the volume of the bottle? I have deer that are walking trough my growing space as I found there tracks all trough out the area.

No growing them upside down is a not a good idea, do what letsseeya is telling ya to do he knows his stuff. Just re pot your plants like 2 or 3 times before transplanting them in the ground, the better the root system the better off your plant will be and grow.
Now for the deer next time ya go out there take a piss out there around where ya plan to plant your babies. Do it every time ya go out there and that should help keep the deer away, try and do it in like a big circle. Or either get some chicken wire and paint it camo pattern, you can also make your own natural wall of thorns and tree limbs around each plant. But id still piss around the area no matter what i put around them just in case.
OK now how tall are your plants, do you have them outside in there cups, inside in the window or under lights??? If they are growing in ya window go ahead and put them outside or put a fan on them to strengthen the stems. If ya don't you will have weak stems on ya plants and the wind will blow them over or break the stem, when you do put them outside.
So do you have any nutes, if so what kind or are you not gonna use any??? Oh and this is important, make sure that where your planting your plants outside gets at least 5 hours of direct sunlight. i made this mistake this year and i am prob gonna pay for it with a smaller yield the more sun the better off ya will be.
Oh yeah before i forget you may wanna try topping one of ya plants and fimming one. I would not worry about tying any down until you know if they are male or female. Try and get some pics up it will help a lot, i know how it feels not to have a cam. I am in the same boat my phone has no cam on it either and i lost my digi cam usb cord so getting pics is a hassle for me also.
Sorry for the long book haha, but this will help in the long run. Oh and some really good advice read a lot on here it will help lots just reading other ppl's grow logs helps a lot to.

I spent over 3 hours reading a few grow logs my tallest plant is about 6in right now the rest under 5 there all out doors a d have been from day one but there are in a little dome ( two cups one on top of the other ) this seemed to help my largest plant it's grew the fastest outa the rest with out domes. It has 3 branches right now. I dont have any nutes but I can get some didn't know if I was going to but what the hell.

OK well you don't need to worry about nutes till they are at least 30 days old. Do you have holes in the dome's so that you can get airflow to ya plants??.. I would not worry about the dome's unless its gonna rain really hard or if it gets cold like cold enough to frost at night but i doubt you will have that prob.
Just put them in a place where it gets plenty of sun oh and i do not think you will need the tin foil as long as they are getting good direct sunlight. Now how big are the cups ya have them growing in how long have they been in the cups like 2 weeks?..
Well make sure they don't get root bound, you can prob re pot them into bigger pots in about 2 weeks but im not sure. Letsseeya can give ya some info on when ya need to re pot and stuff he knows way more about that than me. Oh and make sure you don't over water your plants and cause them to get root rot and die you may wanna put some sand or pea gravel in the bottom of your pots for better drainage.
Try and get some pics id like to see them.

ok man they look good you just need to put more soil in those cups fill them up and you can stop putting the lil domes over them you dont need the tin foil either just put make sure they get at least 6 hours of direct sunlight

Sticky has you on track, just dont put them out too early as the buds will eat them up. Also, when you do put them in the ground make sure the area is clear of weeds:thumbsup:

The only time i would worry about putting the cups over them would be if like i just watered them and then it starts raining the next day. But you could just bring them inside, also to much water is a bad thing your roots will start to rot so you want the soil to kinda get a lil dry between each watering.
well keep it up and do some more reading on here man ill try and help ya out the best i can.

If there isn't holes in these cups, get them in now and the rain really wont hurt them as the luv the humidity. Only when budding you have to be careful of bud root, but as hot as its been the rain will not hurt them as the next day it will drain, get used or evaporate:thumbsup:

I topped one plant and fimmed the other By following this site
Fimming and Topping of marijuana seeds plants or cannabis clones
My smallest plant looks like it snapped I hope it's ok we had some strong winds I guess the other night soil looks a lil damp today so I just left em in the sun. Seem to be doing good I can see alot roots in the cups at the bottom

man it was way to early to top those or fimm them you want them to have 3 or 4 new sets of true leaves before ya do that

Topping a marijuana plant
1. Locate the very top of your plant and cut through the main stem just below the newest growth. This should be done after the 3rd or 4th leaf set but can be done at any time after the 3rd leaf set.
2. Shows Plant Top cut off and where the 2 new Branches that will form a "Y" in the main stem will grow from.
3. Shows the newly topped plant after 2 days of growth, notice the Y in the Stem Forming.
This is what i got off the site you posted, which is a great help:thumbsup:but im wondering what you cut of your plants as there isnt much there yet.
I would first put them in different pots/cups, because i didn't realize they were clear, my bad. Roots hate light, so it will stunt all your growth. Just take them out after they have dried out a bit and put them in something that will keep the roots in the dark. They will not grow if light hits them and you said you can see roots. Try and re pot them, but in the mean time cover the clear cups with a dark paper as darker color will heat up the roots which will make them grow better. And next time, its always better to have someone who has done the technique before to walk ya through it. Im not giving you a hard time, but only trying to help you to a successful grow and yield:)
Oh and just put some tape around the plant that broke, it will grow back. Iv taped a stem that bent in half before and in a few days its healed. Use masking tape or something like it:cool:
Keep er green man

OH. I get what that ment now haha I thought it needed at least 4 leafs total on a plant to start topping. Man this is crazy. But it'll be worth it. I but duck tape around the clear cups to hide the roots

Great man:thumbsup:just keep us informed and you will get a great grow bro:cool:.
One thing i wanna point out is the fact that you said ya saw roots at the bottoms. This is a good thing as ya want them to fill the bottom, but then ya need to get pots that are not to big, but something bigger then what their in now. You can do this now as to be ready. Then just watch your plants as when the leaves begin to droop, you will need to re pot. Now if you look at them now, im sure the leaves are straight out trying to get as much sun as possible. When they begin to lower, while the sun is on them, this means stress, small but still the plant is telling you something. Also just water enough to keep them happy as you want to always re pot when your plants pot is dry. This way, you only need to roll the pot between your hands to loosen it from the soil, then put your pointer finger and thumb between the stem and turn it up side down. The plant should slide right out:thumbsup: Make sure you have plenty of drainage in your new pot. Perlite is great to mix with your soil if you can swing it, i got 5 gallons for 5 bucks at a nursery, but a must if your growing in pots. Oh, i hope ya still don't have that plant between your fingers, lol. Then just make sure ya put soil in the bottom of the new pot and put er in side. Then fill in around her and water. After awhile you will know when it needs re potting as i said the leaves will droop, and when they do, pot asap. Re potting is not stressful for a plant if its done like this, but stress can lead to males/hermies, so its best done right away.
When taking pic's, save them in a folder on your desk top, like '10 grow. Then when you post, click on the ''Manage Attachment'', its below were ya type in ''Additional Options''. From there ya click Browse and go to your folder and click twice, or once then add. Then click load. Its really easy, but after pics are up, you will get more traffic. And if ya need a fast question, feel free to post anything in my thread, its in here or on my Sig. ta da, that was easy:cool:

Oh yeah that will work:thumbsup:but if you have those big ass butter container, it would be better. But only because the bottom its flat and easy to put holes in it for drainage. But the two liter will work, just make sure you put a lot of holes in the bottom as they are sorta funky shaped, thats the only reason i mentioned the butter containers. Make sure the holes are at each dip and level. The reason is when you water and the plant doesnt use it all, it will make a pool of water an soil mix, so the roots don't get air so they die. But with holes at each bump under the bottom and each level your cool. Im not sure what type of soil your using, but iv put small gravel in to help with drainage, its important for fast root growth. If you look at a plant, what you see above ground is 50 percent of what is below ground. Thats why root growth is important and i keep going over it.
People have helped me and still do so gotta pay it forward bro:cool:

lol, Thats just what i grew the NL out in, but that was inside. You will get way more roots outside. The rain will help your plant, just give em a bit of cover if its like a down pour. When you water your plant, pick it up and feel the weight of the pot, then ya got a good idea when it need water again. The more ya do it the better ya get, but its the best way to know IMO. And yeah lots of holes and the rain will go right through it, they really like the humidity that comes with the rain:thumbsup:
If you could get pics up it would help us both:hippy:

Ok so on all of my plants I can see roots at the bottom I didn't tape over that part because of the drain holes anyway my largest plant has a single root chiming through the hole... Should I transplant her today?

I went ahead and transplanted one plant to the 2liter cut in half. Whata fucking pain in the ass that was.. Next time I decied to just cut the bottom off amd slide the plant through or cut the cup off. That way I don't get dirt all over the fucking apartment. Anyway there all looking good I planted 4 more seedlings that I have in a humidity dome until I see there first true set of leafs. Trying to get pics but until then any suggestions?

Well it should have been really easy, but if you didn't let the cup dry up then yeah your going to have a mess. When i re pot there is little to no mess at all, but you need to let them dry before trying to get them out of the pot. Also, it puts stress on your plant, because the smaller roots get damaged. Next time just let the cups dry out as they like it at times anyway. Let them dry first, then roll the cups between your hands to loosen it from the soil. Next put the stem between your fingers and turn upside down, the plant should slide right out. If it doesnt slide right out just give er a couple taps on the sides and it will come right out:thumbsup:
Good luck bro:thumbsup:

Ok man id get rid of the tin foil as all its going to do is create a hot spot, sorta like a leaser beam and burn your leaves. If ya feel like you need to reflect light, use a cut up paper plate or something white, but tin foil is no good here. Both look healthy and will grow, but id get them outside now or the plant will not be able to take the heat when you do put them out. Put them under a tree so it get a bit of sun here and there. The fim attempt looks like your going to get a bush, but thats not bad. Just no colas, but a short bush that will give ya med size nugs. But you really need to get em out so the sun will get em up. My small plants like yours were out in 88 degree heat and you have seen them. If it rains, no big deal as long as ya got drainage as they shoot up after each rain. Thats why mine are so big, we have had 10 days this month of bad rain so i just kill em with ferts. But you need to put them into the ground before doing this. From the pics ya got great spots man. I would put them in the ground, but i guess if ya got time to build them up first, thats better. How long can you grow for?
So far looking great, they just need sunshine bro, then they will take off.

I prob shoulda posted this ahead of time but we had string storms with 70mph gust so I brought those two inside amd took the pics now I'm keeping them in till the morin and I'll put them back out on my window ledge they've been getting 7-8 hours of direct sunlight daily and I water 2 times a week. I can transplant now and grow them a little taller then plant them. I was going to put fencing around each plant to make sure these damn coons don't get to em. Other than that what kinda nutes do u suggest?

im just using MG nutes aka miracle grow if its your first grow id just use these umm but only use 1/4 the recommended amount when ya feed them
