Possible Hair Test - Light smoker?

On March 14-21 I had some mary jane my freind gave me. It was around .5 grams. Smoked a little on 3 occasions. First time have about 4 tokes but no effect. Few days later 4 tokes little effect (felt relaxed). Last time 4-5 tokes, extremely paraniod. Threw the rest away. About half of what I had was left and discarded.
Before this I obstaned for approximately 15 years.
Now, a drug test is coming up for a job that I never thought I would get. Very competitive but they called me. Since that time in March I have not smoked again due to the terrible experience I had.
If it is a hair test what are my chances? At this time my hair is about 1/2" long. The results are due in office in about 3 weeks.
What are my chances if it is a hair test? Im pretty sure that if it is a saliva or urine test I am ok.

How many hair cuts have you had since you last smoked and how much do you usually have cutoff?

Had at least two haircuts. After that session I let it grow longer than usual. But cut it back to my normal legnth. Usually cut off about 1/2" each time.

Your fine on the urine and saliva tests and I think your going to be fine on the hair test as well. A good Zydot shampoo treatment wouldn't hurt the morning of the test. I'm going to give you Jerry G's hair treatment procedure but you won't need to bleach and redye. The end contains the procedure for a baking soda and zydot treatment. Also, don't cut your hair shorter than 3/4 of an inch between now and test time. Most testers look for atleast 3/4 of inch to test.

Jerry G's hair test strategy:

This method is not fool proof, but does have a very high(90%+) success rate.

THC metabolites are stored in the cortex of the hair strand. The cortex is protected by a layer of scales called the cuticle. To strip the metabolites from the cortex, the cuticle needs to be opened and penetrated.

Basics open the cuticle due to their PH levels above 7. Baking soda, bleach, and ammonia are all are strong basics that help to open the cuticle.

Shampoos like Toxin Wash and Zydot contain strong stripping agents, that combined with bleaching and redying yield a very high success rate in passing hair tests.

I think going to a pro is best for bleaching and redying, but it can be done at home.

The basic plan is to bleach and redye twice. Use a 40 volume peroxide bleach. Ignore the hair pros and sign a waiver if needed. I think washing out the bleach and the dye with a very strong shampoo like Toxin Wash works best. The second bleach and redye should be done at least 10 days after the last session of herb. If you have little or no clean time, the last bleach and redye should be done as close to the test as possible.

The day of the test make a thick baking soda paste and massage it into your hair. Then do a full TW treatment and then a full Zydot treatment. These two shampoos compliment each other.

Good luck, almost everyone who does this passes...

OTHER TREATMENTS--

I have no experience with them, but some people have had success with hair relaxers and perm treatments. These products contain propylene glycol and ammonia, which are proven to open the cuticle and reduce metabolites. I'd wash with TW or another good shampoo after treatment.

There is a common misconception that AloeRid Shampoo helps to pass a test. It does nothing. It is the discontinued AloeRid Treatment that contained a high propylene glycol content, and was effective.

There is a treatment program called the Macujo Method. It works for some people, especially those with thin light hair, or low levels of usage. It does not work well for heavy users with little clean time. It did not work at all for me.

The day of the test massage a baking powder paste into hair then wash hair with zydot shampoo. Can i do this with the body hair as well?
Is this correct? Will it change the color of my hair?

I also read that my use was below what can actually be detected in a follicle test. What do you think?

I would say that your borderline on the smoking amounts. This is why I am suggesting this(better safe than sorry). Yes you can do this with body hair as well and no it will not change your hair color.

Deige, it turns out that it is a U.A. I feel so much better. Is there anything I can do to prepare for that? Or can I just get it done as soon as possible.
Just as a reminder, the last time I was with Mary Jane was in March.

Your fine dude,even a heavier smoker would be fine by this point,but everyone is different,I know for myself it takes about 2 weeks to get clean.

It could if there is any left, but I would highly doubt there is. If you still feel uncomfortable about it then go buy a home test kit and test yourself. Use the first void of the day, it will contain the highest concentration of THCA.

You know something Deige, I think Im going to be ok for these reasons:

Amount of mary jane was small, about 1/4 gm over 3 day period.

Been clean for 67 days.

Work out regularly with weights with some challenging cardio.

Lost 12 pounds in last 4 weeks.

I drink beer. Beer has alcohol and is soluble to everything.

Although I do have some body fat (5'-10" 195 pounds) I am also kind of muscular. Doctor told me I would be at good weight at 185lbs.


Do you agree? My opinion is that I am going to come up positive.

Get a First Check drug test at CVS. Do it on the first void in the am.

If you pass this, you will be fine. Even a fine line. You can send it in to First Check via the post office and get results. They use gas chromatography to verify. They say 7 to 10 days after they receive it. But I got feedback on mine in half the time. The gas chromatography tests are excellent. They always verified my results. I did it four times in the last month. All said negative, but I was mildly diluted for the ones I sent in to the lab. You have to put your return address on the box if you send it in through the post office. I did not care as I do not think they are interested. They only want to make sure you are not a terrorist.

If you test positive, or if you are paranoid about a faint negative line, you can drink some things and test later in the day to see if mild dilution will help. Usually the test is later in the day and you have already voided and drank some. That will help.

My bet is that you are completely clean and have no need of doing anything, but a First Check drug test is the way for you to verify in the privacy of your home. They sell so many of these things that I can not imagine them trying to trace everyone who buys them. Parents buy them to test their kids all the time. Also they test for cholesterol. Get the one drug test for marijuana. It will cost about $17.00. I have gone through so much stress on this that I am quitting for the rest of my work life.

Sorry dude but I don't guesstimate. Guesstimates can lead to error and in this business there's no room for it. We like to rely on facts and the only way to know for sure is to test yourself.

It said to wait 10 mins for results. After 10 mins there were two visible strips.

Home test kits are extremely accurate and you passing this one(with the first void of the day I hope) you will be fine to pass your lab test.

Hey Guys. One more question.
When I put the tester in the urine, almost immediately the two pink lines appeared. As time passed they became darker and darker. Does this indicate the absolute lack of THC in my urine?
The reason I ask is because after doing some digging on the internet the lines on the tester can be faint, which does also indicate a negative, but might indicate a level just below the threshold?
Any validity to this?

Tested myself again this morning first void directly into the specimen cup. The test came up negative.
As of now I am going to lay off the weights and any cardiovascular exersize to prevent any release of thc that might be in my adipose tissue. I will eat but not below maintanance. I might test the morning of the actual test just to feel safe.

Does this look promising Deige? Uber? Thereis?

I do feel a little better. Now im thinking I did the test wrong, or the test was defective. I know. Im crazy.

But what really upsets me is that I did see Mary Jane after all these years and didnt even enjoy it! The experience was terrible. Dont get me wrong. I feel it should be legal like alcohol. Its just not for me and will never do it again. It just caused too much stress for me. But I did it so close to a potential turning point in my life. What stresses me is the thought of failing a drug test after all the hard work that I have done.

I would say that your good to go. Be sure to load creatine starting from now until test time. I would test yourself again the morning of the test and follow it with a mild dilution, substituting gatorade for water.

When diluting urine you also dilute your creatine levels. This can cause a non negative dilute. Meaning, you will have to take the test again. This can raise suspicion from the employer or can leave you paying for the next test.

As for the gatorade... Its known to help with specific gravity, another validity test they use when testing your sample.

I'm not trying to freak you out. You may be ok without loading creatine, but I just like to cover all basis.

I know your not trying to freak me out. But I do have creatine in its pure form. But instead of the creatine, I will probably go for a steak or some lean pork over the weekend. Since I already tested negative twice, I feel that if I start adding things to my body it could make it worse.

For instance my plan is to drink my usual amount of water over the weekend, but the day of the test drink a glass before breakfast, after breakfast and before I leave for the test. Possibly some gatorade that morning too. I will test myself upon waking on Tuesday the day of the test.

Logic tells me that I am going to pass. Most people with my clean time and history would not even worry. But NOOOO!

I have been clean since April 26. I am 6 feet and just a little over 200.

I tested the first void of the morning on May 18th and got a faint line, it was darker than the faint line pictures I see on this website. So... it was not really super faint, just faint.

I diluted, from about 5am to 11am on May 18th which was the day of the test and got a pretty dark line at 11am. Then I took the test at noon.

So far I have heard nothing from the test lab or the potential employer. I can tell you that I sent in four First Check THC test kits on May 3rd, May 7th, May 10th and May 14th. None of these was first void and I was taking just a little bit more liquid than normal. The lab confirmed that these were all negative. They were all faint lines, but the First Check lab does gas chromatography. When they do that, they check at the 15 nanograms level for the particular metabolite they are looking for. So... I probably overreacted by diluting the day of thhe test. I had been exercising heavy on May 17, the day before the test. That is not what anyone should do. I figure it worked for me only because I had cleaned my self out to a large extent.

So... checking yourself with a First Check the day of the test on a first void and even if you get a faint line, you will almost assuredly be ok, that is not a guarantee, it is only a real good estimate. You are correct to be concerned, but you are almost certainly ok.

As for me, I will stay clean until I am out of the job market forever. I am financially ok and have one of the good government pensions, but I want to work and stay active, at least part time, so... I am clean until finally retired.

My concern is that is has been six full business days and two half business days since the test and I have heard nothing. PS, the real experts are Deige, Burnt Toast, Killer Weed420 and WEBDOX. I am new to all this even though I have been a lifelong toker. I was never tested before, until this once after I retired.

Does anyone have a guess as to whether or not the company should have notified me if there was a dilution problem by now? The test was on May 18th and I have heard nothing. I know that it takes as long as it takes, but if there has not been some type of mishandling shouldn't they normally have given me a chance to explain or deny if they had a dilution issue by now. If there was a mislabeling or some other type of problem I know that there is no predicting.

By the way good luck to you. I think grass should be decriminalized so everyone could grow their own. That way the government could not tax it. I just do not want to see a marijuana business lobby in congress. We have too many lobbyists as it is. Everyone should be able to grow their own and give a little to their neighbors.

Also, wanted to show you a thc calculator I found. I know that its not a true and accurate way to see how much thc is in my system, but I tried it and it looks as if I will be a 0 pg/ml at the test day.

They way I plotted it was I pressed the "got high" button for the days I saw MJ. Two of those days had little to no effect. It was the third day that was the experience.
According to this calculator, even if I had really gotten high 3 times then I would still be clean by now.
