G13 inground grow log

well here is G13! want to see what it can do outside. it was in a 12" pot of MG moisture control soil with extra perlite and dolomite lime added in before the transplant outside. it started its life in the wilderness towards the middle/end of april. we had a lil bit of hail hit the other day and here you can see the results were a bit of leaf damage. here are some pics as of today, enjoy!

well ive decided to start a few outside in a lil greenhouse i built out of scrap wood and some cheap 3mil clear painters plastic. i cant afford some fancy big greenhouse so i empravized. this way i can do some outdoor without any problem. im not expecting the original plant in this thread(inground) to do that well if it does make it the hole cycle, so i dont care if it dont make it. these are only 2 weeks(roughly) old and were little when i transplanted them into the 5gal buckets. they are growing very fast and the stocks are very thick on these girls, they are already thicker then the stocks on the ones i have flowering(indoors) now that are obviously WAY older. so im pretty excited to see how these turn out as well. i havent fed any nutes yet, just been watering with 3/4 of a gal of water when i notice dry enough soil. i figure i will start giving them nutes when they get about a month or so old.

this is one in a 3.5gal pot, about a foot or so tall.

here is the oldest girl of the batch, as you can see she was pinched once(hence the "Y". she also had all clones taken off her before), and lots of fresh new green now.

well its been over a week since my last post on here so i thought id post up some new pics of my baby girls in my greenhouse. still healthy, still havent fed with nutes yet, only water at this point cause they still are very nicely green and showing signs of healthy new growth. probly start feeding with nutes in another week or 2. well here they are.

Are you gonna top or fimm any of them that will keep them shorter and bushier instead of just growing tall :jointsmile::jointsmile:

as a matter of fact sticky, i thought about fim'm them earlier after that last post because i know they will get taller then my 5' greenhouse if i dont. i think i will get a better harvest that way anyways. when i pinch the mother G13(indoors) i started with, it had 5 heads and they were completely full from bottom to top. thanks for the positive comments sticks!!!

good thing you got the greenhouse, the weather has been shit for the past couple of weeks. Fimming or topping would be a good idea because you know as much as i know, those babies are gunna get alooootttt bigger than that.

ya dru it has been pretty shity, atleast the sun pokes out every once and a while. i went and checked on the origanal girl i threw in the ground and after we had that last 50mph windstorm, she didnt come out ok. but thankfully i had the greenhouse and the storm didnt effect the ladies inside.
and already took care of the fimming :) , i know they are still gona out grow my greenhouse too, even fimmed, cause the days dont start getting short untill august... oh well you know what that means :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Looking very healthy bro:cool:im glad ya posted the pic as im using dial-up and takes to long for me to open the links. Have ya grown outside before or just a change up of things? Im not sure what i like the best as the indoor i had went very well, but luv to get outside as much as i can. It feels great to sit outside:smokin:with your plants enjoying the nice sunshine.

ya this is my first outdoor grow. i love my indoor setup but i wish i had more then just a 400W. i know mother nature will treat me better:D so i thought if the outdoor goes well enough, ill be able to take a break on the indoor and save a lil money, not needing to grow for a while. but we will have to see how this goes, so far so good, but still have months to go, and anything can happen. i apreciate the comments, and now that im not an idiot -:stoned:, ill be attaching the pics instead of using the links from here on :thumbsup:.

well today i checked on the girls in the greenhouse(been a few days) and things still looking ok. one plant has some yellowing. so today was there first day getting nutes since i had forgot to feed them:mad: the last time when i had just watered. also noticed one of the smaller girls is showing first signs of flowering, she will be the girl on the right in the pic with the two 1.5Gal pots. but other then that the rest are still doin good, not realy any problems. i did kill another lil slug today that had sneaked in. luckily he didnt damage any new growth shoots, just a lil bit on a fan leaf. well here is a few pics for ya:thumbsup:

well here is a few pics i took a lil bit ago. three of the girls are looking "slow" and not as healthy, i dont know what the hell is wrong with them really. but the other 3 in 5Gal buckets are looking realy good, other then a lil bit of slug problem still. these lil fuckers are getting on my nerves and i know everyone will tell me to go get something from a nursery or homedepot to stop them but i dont have any money right now so its not an option right now. believe me if i did they wouldnt be eating the shit out of my nice looking girls. im about to go fucking :rambo: on there asses tho :jointsmile:

few more pics real quick. the smallest girl(first pic) is starting to flower now and the other small girl in 1.5gal pot(last pic) is a few days behind her, just starting to show signs and switching now.

five more days update. it got sunny today(had been raining the last few) so i thought it would be a good idea to take them now before it decides to rain some more :D... they got a nice healthy meal today too :D

thank you. i cant wait to see how big these get, ive never done outdoor before. im hoping that they start to switch into flowering soon. 4 are knockin on 3' right now and realy bushy. im hoping they dont get any higher then 5' but we'll just have to see :D

well today i decided to pull the girls from there pots and added about 4" more soil to the bottom of the pots so they have a lil more room for roots to grow. here is a some pics. enjoy :jointsmile:

if your talking about the 3 smaller girls in 5G pots, why they look like a nute def.? they actualy had major ph/buildup problem(they are the same age as the other two big girls) and major nute burnt tips. i resused some crappy soil with realy poor drainage, because i had ran out of fresh soil, stupid me:jointsmile: but theres plenty of fresh green showing so im just going to clone off of them.

thanks, ya i havent been paying much attention to them lately cause im so excited about my new Skunk indica indoor plants. plus i realy screwed up by resusing some old soil. so only the two big ladies are gona end up ok, the rest in 5G pots are only staying alive to take clones off. ill try and keep updating this more with pics for everyone.

couple pics of my two outdoor G13 girls. they are finaly starting to show some pre-flower pistils so im getting excited. the taller one is almost 4' now and the other one is just inches shorter.

and ya i know, they are hungry:jointsmile:, i havent fed them today yet:stoned:

todays shot. showing preflowers now, so should be switching over finaly. pic 4 is of the lil g13 in the far right of pic 3, starting to flower, looks goofy, i think it was shocked for a few weeks, and is recovering. showing trichs so we'll c.

are yours flowering yet? I only have one strain that has buds on it as of now, the others have preflowered but havent started to stretch yet.


I sure hope that they start to bud soon. With the falls we have been having lately, they wont be able to finish before the wet weather hits.

Are they staying out in the open or are you going to cover them? Im fearing mold for all of my outdoor plants.
