Tips for good Oil/Earwax/Concentrates
What's up everyone, so I'm still kinda new to the scene but I just picked up one of those titanium skillets for concentrates and I was wondering if you guys had any good tips on where to get really good hash oils or earwax type hash that is really potent and CLEAN and safe with all the chemicals extracted. I know of a few places that have oils but maybe those of you with more experience can point me to where the clean, potent, and of course reasonably priced concentrates are at? '
Thx much love everyone

D9 seems to always have earwax in their menu updates.

I stay away from chemical extractions all together. Doesn't matter if its done with butane or isopropl alchohol. Bubble hash is good enough for me :stoned:

Wouldn't mind the co2 hash oil but 90% of dispensaries that claim to have it are full of shit. They just rename it to co2 oil because chemical extractions are illegal in some medical states(California). Cost what? 20 grand for a good co2 extraction machine?

^how do they do the CO2 extractions? I've Benn wondering that for awhile but you don't see ANY info on forums for CO2 extractions whereas ISO and butane info are plastered all over the forums.
So you need a machine? It must involve super high pressures or something?

The co2 extraction is done with a critical extraction machine, they're more like 100k and it's what they use to make any essential oil from plants with:thumbsup:For the record there is an individual who posses the equipment in CO:rastasmoke::rastasmoke: As far as bubble being just as good, only certain microns and if the beginning product is quality to begin with. BHO you can take garbage and turn it to gold :stoned: as long as you purge it correctly bho is usually better consistently..MM hash I will concur that not too much compares to fmcd bubble hash...

If you want some hash go to Breck. I have not smoke a lot of butane oil, and hash oil, but the Loft in Breck has 20 kinds of full melt hash/kief/oil. Their butane extract is red dust that is frozen, it runs $60 a gram and is super potent for sure.
I went to Organix in Breck today and they had three different kinds of strain specific hash oil for $40 a gram. They said it was butane extracted. They keep it in the freezer and it looks like a chunk of goldish/blondish goo. YOu heat on a bowl and it melts all over the bud and burns forever. I got the Lemon Haze Hash Oil. Pretty good, put i need to make my own cuz $40 a gram is crack prices.
By the way where did you get your skillet? I was just talking to my friend in NYC who has one, and i really want one bad. Where can i get one in CO?

right on thx 4 the info, i've been meaning to go to d9 and ill def. have to check breck out after finals r done, they sound legit!
and as for the skillet, I was gona get it at GG cause they give you a 1/4g of oil with it and its 75, but they didn't have any in stock. Kinda glad though cause I don't know if they have the vapor curve or swing but I got vapor swing which I think is more original..Anyway after watching some videos online I'm pretty sure the bigger bell dome is less efficient (you lose more vapor) but the vapor swing has a really small bell dome that's more efficient. Also, on the vapor curve, the swing is not titanium it's steel, but on the "vapor swing" both the swing and plate are grade 1 titanium which to me sounds probably better than steel with a tit. alloy plate...So ya I went for the vapor swing. (vaporswing.com)
Also if you don't mind ordering online, the website gratefulbuys.com has them for 65 and with a 10% off coupon code is like 58$ that's shipping included too! They also guarentee the purchase for life. That's the cheapest I found so I ordered it should be here in next few days :rasta: or if you dont wana do online I think their website said Broadway Wellness Center in Denver is one of the vapor swing resellers.

Hey thanks for the info man! I've never seen this kind of device! Looks like you need some kind of torch as an accessory. I don't like to crackheadify my smoking regimen with torches, but this looks like it'd be worth it to get consistent quality hits!
I don't have hash/oils enough to justify purchase unfortunately but it'd be nice to have one of these. I kinda think the bigger bell might help conserve a bit though... you can see on that second video on vaporswing.com that it's easy to lose some nice clouds of smoke!! Check out the hits at the following timestamps... 0:15, 0:37, 1:10

Man, it would be badass to have access to one of those machines! No question as to what you'd be doing with your trim at that point:cool:

You didn't stay away from all chemical extractions, you used dihydrogen monoxide as a solvent.
Everything is a chemical at molecular level.

"The co2 extraction is done with a critical extraction machine, they're more like 100k and it's what they use to make any essential oil from plants with"
CO2 extraction (I wrote the articles on the Lycaeum YEARS ago regarding this,) is done the same way as any super-critical pressure-based solvent system. An extraction system can be built for $2 and some change, then go to the paintball store, pick up a tank of CO2 for a hundred bucks, drop $15 on an adapter valve and hose and clamp, and you're set to go.

Not necessarily, we built our own closed circuit system using the instructions in this thread...

I have a super big tolerance and have turned to wax and oils to do the job, man this is getting worse than smoking crack. One thing I have noticed lately is a lot of so called wax that sparks like a fn' roman candle. These people need to fully cook the butane out of the product. I have also noticed a lot of so called wax is actually peanut butter hash and not ear wax.
