I got fired from my job today! THANKS MOM AND DAD! I APPRECIATE THE HELP "GETTING MY LIFE ON TRACK". FUCK YOU BOTH, YOU'RE GONNA GET YOUR FUCKIN THROATS SLIT.
That's what I want to say to them, but I'm not going to...heh, I dont feel like being thrown into a mental institution just yet.
WTF? How they get you fired? I would of thought a job was the first step to getting your life "on track".
Because they kicked me out last night, just all the sudden kicked me out and locked the doors, and I had to work this morning at 9 on the other side of town and I had to sleep in a park with no transportation.
Thats pretty bad, and cruely ironic. Good luck sorting everything out.

OK EVERYONE SHUT UP! No one has any idea about my situation. First of all, I dont live at their house anymore, haven't for 2 months. I use my friend Amber's computer all the time when I can't use this one. Yes, I am at home now because I was at the hospital last night and need IV antibiotics every 8 hours. Good thing my dads a doctor because he can just do it at home.
My parents had no legitimate reason to kick me out and make me sleep in a fucking park.
What were the reasons they kicked you out for?

you guys i talk to rachel on a regular basis, but i havent recently and now i guess i know why....her parents are excentric and she has a really fucking hard life, give her a break for gods sake shes just trying to vent about her life and you guys are accusing her of lying. shes a very smart person and shes made a few mistakes, but who hasnt....it seems to me from what i know (and i know more than nearly all of you guys) is her parents think short term and dont really want whats best for rachel but whats best for their reputation.
have a fucking heart and give her some compassion

Just quit whatever it is they are kicking you out for and tell them you're done with it and you'd like to come back. Your parents are educated, and more than likely know what's best for you in the long run. They've been around the block more than once I'm sure. The only reason I've ever seen people kicked out of home (and I've seen it happen plenty of times), is because they were completely fucking something up and not only harming themselves, but the people around them also. This includes both emotional and physical harm. More than often it's drugs and the family suffers because of this. Judging by your first post you don't have much respect for them (maybe reasonably so) and seem rather immature, but if you don't even say what they are kicking you out for, I'm forced to believe it's your fault.

I won't take sides here; it's already been said that only one side of the story has been presented. But I've been around too, and have witnessed more than a few situations where the parents were indeed out of whack. There's no way for us to know, really.
Rachel, we've talked before, and I know you're an intelligent person with a lot going for her. I know, too, that you've had your difficulties. It's would be easy for me to speculate about what's the right thing to do, but I can remember what it was like to be 17 - 18, and know that I had a long way to go before I started getting my act together. So, no holier than thou here, just a bit of understanding based on personal experience. You can't control your parents, but you can control yourself, and maybe find some middle ground where everybody's at least at a level of mutual tolerance. Sometimes you have to bend a little, but if anybody had told me this when I was 17, I'd have had a hard time relating to it. It's probably impossible for your parents to understand you completely, but it's not their fault; they had parents and problems of their own, no doubt, when they were young. They do the best they can with what life's taught them. Sometimes life is an unworthy teacher. That goes for us all.
You're a beautiful, intelligent girl. So if you can focus yourself on living within certain boundries, the ones we all have to deal with, you could have quite a good life.
If I can just add one more thing, it's that the more substances and wild lifestyle stuff we do, the more confusing and difficult our lives become. Sometimes it helps a lot to take a vacation from living on the edge, just to get your head together.

threatening to slit throats is far from venting...no offense but if you consider yourself experienced with life you are in for a huge surprise...the fact you resort to name calling to attempt to make your point says a lot buy itself and backing someone dwelling so heavily into violence... face it...she fucked up and needs to get her life straightened out and it sounds like tough-love is being used as a last resort.
