If anything this just pumps me up more. Im very please we trounced the public option out on its ass, no illegal aliens are getting healthcare, and the Democrat electorate count is looking real good for a devastating defeat in 7 months. And thats after the bill was signed my friends. People gotta chill, things are looking brighter everyday regardless of what govt. snitches and the mainstream media try to bloviate....just have fun with em.

I don't know about this bill our fearless leader crammed down our throats. I see this as the beginning of the end for Obama. Word on the street is that a lot of people are fed up with this guy already. Should be very interesting to see what the next few years are like in the US.

Once the hate mongers are silenced things could turn around and neighbors will get along with neighbors once again. All this bullshit is beginning to go too far and its not the left or middle who is doing it. Its the right and the far right, and the far, far left. :D

There's going to be some interesting legal arguements on this. I'm sure they'll eventually end up in scotus.

One democrat AG is not unusual. Thirty-three voted against the bill probably for political reasons. In the end it will stay, and be fixed and tweaked, and there will always be those who are against anything either party does. Just the nature of the beast. Some reasons valid and others not. Never since the Civil War has this country appeared to be so divided. :twocents: It wasn't this bad during the sixties and early seventies during the Vietnam War.

I sure hope it works out for the best....but I have my doubts. I totally agree with you on this country being divided. I posted up a link about CNN finally realizing Obama is a tool. (that's a political term :) ) An old girlfriend I hadn't talked to in years sure had a lot to say about it. People feel pretty strongly about this bill, that is for damn sure.

I think pretty much everybody agrees we needed some healthcare reform but this is not reform. The same people who have driven up the prices are going to benefit even more on this

Here's my argument.

I don't see anything in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights that allows the Federal government to FORCE us to hand our hard-earned money over to a mostly-private industry.

I read the entire bill, all 1,000+ pages of it. Some good, some bad, then that colossal screwup I just mentioned, which is not stated but it is explicitly implied by the wording of the bill.

Next thing you know they'll pass a bill requiring us to buy stuff from the prophylactic industry every so often just because we might have sex.
