Hey. So Im going to try Cannibus for the first time in a couple weeks.

So back to where I left off.
(my first thread mysteriously vanished from this forum...strange.)
I am 22 and blah blah blah.

ok.

So I'm going to be smoking some weed in a week or two, out of a pipe, but the guy who I'm smoking with said he can get a bag for ten bucks.
straight from the dealer! He didnt say a weight, just a "pretty good bag. enough for about 10 joints last time I bought it."

The thing is, I don't want to smoke some grass and twigs with a pinch of MJ in it. Although, it being my first time, I don't want to buy really nice stuff just to flip out.

Got any advice?

They say if it isnt good bud you might not feel anything the first time you smoke.

First bud i smoked was purple haze I didnt feel much not really high at all just had some form of munchies.

I would recomend getting the best you can get your hands on.

Easy. Don't smoke it if you don't want to. Just be in a calm, and trusting environment. Be an adult and stay calm.. I know this really don't help, but being in a good environment is the key to having a good experience. You don't need the "dro" for your first time. It isn't about looking, or being cool. That's what I hate about the "youth" of today. Smoking weed is in "style", but it's not about that. As long as it gets you "high" that's all that counts.

but I just don't want to go to all the trouble just to smoke twigs and have a bad time.

What I do with almost every drug is expect not to feel anything. That way, if I do feel something, it's not because I expected to. Of course, if I know it's the real deal, then it doesn't work. But in your case, it should :). At worst, you thought you were tripping on oregano, like so many other first-timers. Get over the embarrassment and hope for the real stuff next time. I doubt a 22-year-old would fake you out, though :P.

smoking bad weed isn't what will cause you to have a bad time. Anxiety and fear will make you have a bad time. Just remember to stay cool. Good luck.

I completely agree! It's all about the setting, try to be in a good mood with friends and above all keep an open mind. A little good music never hurt either.

If this guys telling you he got 10 joints from a bag worth $10 he's either bullshitting or selling you crap weed. Buy a gram of high grade for $20 if you have too. If you're gonna do something do it rite. Keep on toking til you feel it. Let it hit you and enjoy the ride.

I've never really heard of someone planning to smoke weed for the first time...it normally just happens....but either way, hope you enjoy it! It's a wonderful experience for alot of people! :jointsmile:

For the life of me I can't remember the first time I smoked weed. I remember the first time I had sex. But I just can't remember about the weed.
