Can i finish a log here..technically cab grow

Don't know if anyone's interested in him/her, but its almost a month into flowering. i was curious how cfl grows really yielded when used start to finish so i started my own. -quick catchup-

1x1 sq ft
VEG 4x26w cfls (6500k 1700 init lumens) 1 month 16/8
FLOWER 6x26w cfls (2300k 1700 init lumens)

-1 Gal well drained soil starter soil / 20% perlite
-Flat white painted walls
-2x 50 cfm pc fans (intake / exhaust)
-FoxFarm Trio *alternating regular strength, 1/2 strength every watering(plant seems to be able to take it)

-Was some schwiggity schwag that has produced a tall, skinny, herm.. Sativa?

?-Am i lookin at a longer flower period since im pretty sure its sativa dom?

Looking good. Now, comes the hard part...flowering...:thumbsup:

(pic1-2) Dont be too harsh, its my last grow in the cardboard ;) but this has allowed me three grows with decent yields :thumbsup: Dont know if u can see (cameraphone) but this plant has out grown the box...im having to add a cd case every couple days :wtf: hopefully itl quit growin vertical and focus on weight. (adding molasses to feeding sched next watering)

(pic3) Did come across a replacement for the box(1x1x2)<dog kennel> and im gonna turn it into a hut type.. 1)remove material 2) wrap in white plastic...any ideas appreciated:thumbsup: caught friend throwing it out and instantly thot hydro hut :rasta:. dont know how much it costs but may be a quick diy:D

Going to cut back the 1/2 strength waterings to 1/4, and going to add that to the molasses water.

ie.. full str > 1/4 str+molH2o > full str > 1/4 str+molH2o...

Best pics i can get... think u can still see some bud tho. They're reaching 5-6" down each branch.

Sorry for the pics..i need a cam with a flash. :wtf: But the hairs are 30-40% red, and i can see about 5% of the trichs are amber.

Any advice/techniques on what yall do/recommend for the last week or so before harvest? ive heard some such as a longer dark period w/o watering the last days. or trimming all the mash, leaving just bud for the last day or so...etc

-- the last 2 are the dro set-up.. its true, once u go dro u aint goin back :thumbsup: these are growing way faster than my soil grows. may start a log with them :D

nothin wrong with cardboard box bro....have you looked at a refridgerator box...i used to work in a furniture store as a kid and those boxes were really strong with the lid strapped on with metal banding....that would give you some height...go to any appliance store and ask if you could have a box...tell them you need something sturdy for storage:thumbsup:

Well i planned on cutting it down this weekend, but seems to keep producing white hairs and more trichs.. id hate to cut it early after 3 months.

flushed for about 1.5 weeks now, but since it seems to keep keepin on, should i feed it again? its just about sucked all the fan leaves to death.

I can see a few predominant amber trichs on some calyxes with my naked eye, but not all over. I do have a radio shack 30x-100x mini micro, but threw it against the wall after about 10 mins.

Cut it down last night; 10-20% amber trichs. One week hang dry, perfect timing for 420 :thumbsup: Makin brownies, cookies, and gonna try jello shots.. drunk and blazed at the same time...FTW

rest will go another week curing:thumbsup:

-fans set on low for 15mins every 3 hours

I think next time give them some bigger pots, and less FF - that stuff is pretty strong.

Thanks :thumbsup: i think ur right.. still learnin, but good to have a finished crop under my belt :D ill prolly keep a mom in soil, but i think hydro is more for me.

And ive come to the conclusion of no more cfls in flower lol. Yes they will produce an ok amount of bud, but to rival the smallest HPS bulbs, u are going to spend more on cfls. I had and recommend no wasted space in the box, trying to max their efficiency.

However, if u were like me and wanted a very discrete grow op (low heat/noise/space), CFLs are they way.

*not saying u shouldnt use CFLs in flower, just what ive seen in my grows:D*

May have pulled a little early, but still better than the bag it came from :thumbsup:

More of a heady high, but still has the 'stuck' feeling :jointsmile:
