Thinking about when I did some LSD a long time ago.

Like 5 years ago when I was a sophomore in highschool, my buddies were all into drugs. Thatâ??s actually around the time I first tried weed (with them, a few months after this little story). My friend said that he had some acid. I didn't even know what acid was really, but I was so anxious to try out any drug that I had him sell me some. He came and found me at lunch, and I paid him some money (canâ??t seem to remember how much, but it couldnâ??t have been a lot if I donâ??t rememberâ?¦) and he gave me a plastic bag with two sugar cubes in it. He then told me that I should try to let it dissolve onto my tongue for a while and thatâ??s how you took acid.

I got home that night, went in my room and closed the door, and took one of the sugar cubes and let it dissolve on my tongue like he said. This was the first drug other than like Tylenol Iâ??d ever taken so I had no idea what to expect. After a little while, I started to feel something. Couldnâ??t really put my finger on it, but I felt kinda happy and for some reason I kept looking at the top of my bed (I had a bunk bed, even though I had my own room and I only ever used the bottom bunk). After a little bit I noticed that I had a grin on my face. I took a short walk into my bathroom so I could see it for myself with the mirror. One thing I noticed is that the grin was like permanent. I couldnâ??t stop grinning and even trying to â??fixâ?� the grin using my fingers resulted in only minimal success. It wasnâ??t that I didnâ??t have control over my face, but it was a lot like how itâ??s hard to stop laughing after you see something really funny. Youâ??re still grinning because you want to grin, but you canâ??t stop wanting to grin. â?¦if that makes any sense.

But that was it. After a short while the grin went away, and what little bit of difference I felt before was soon gone. About the only other thing I remember is that I seemed to perspire a little more than usual during the whole ordeal. Not knowing anything about acid and what itâ??s supposed to be like, I considered it a success as it was a fun and interesting experience. About a month later, me and my friend split the one remaining sugar cube, and experienced the same effects once again, if perhaps a little less intense.

At the time, I thought that what I experienced was what you were supposed to have experienced. It wasnâ??t until years later when I started reading all the stories on erowid that I began to wonder what happened. In retrospect, I guess Iâ??m glad I didnâ??t have any full on hallucinations or anything like that, because I probably would have flipped out or something. Still I wonder, do you guys think what I took was even acid at all? Could it have been that it was just a weak dose due to me being kinda a big guy as well as only taking one of the cubes instead of both?

if it was acid, it was a very very small dose. acid is very powerful, and it definatley does more than put a grin on your face. could it have just been placebo that you were expiriencing?

sounds like a thresh hold dose, perspiration and grinning/laughing are definitely characteristics of cid.

A threshold dose hardly does shit, so its possible he just had some old cid that had become weak.

True, LSD doesnt store well and is degraded by light and heat.

if i cant keep it in a fridge cuz of my parents, whats a good way to store it so itll last kinda long becasue im gonna have a lot

not sure exactly, but its better than nothing since its cool and dark. Also keep them in something airtight in as much of a vaccuum as possible, since it breaks down when exposed to O2.

I'm not arguing with anything said here, it's accurate, but if you did vitamin A, you would know, end of story.
