So Rebgirl420 is back from hibernation and she has some great news!

Hey guys and gals. Just thought I'd poke my head back in here and tell everyone the great news! Since I've been gone I've gotten engaged to Rob and things have been wonderful. And I got an even bigger surprise a few weeks ago....

I am ten weeks pregnant today!

Yup guys and gals, Rebgirl420 is gonna be a mommy. I am very excited and so is Rob. Things are going great.

I will admit that I am still smoking weed, though I have cut down a lot. It really helps with morning sickness, excuse me, ALL DAY SICKNESS. I plan on stopping here though in 3 or 4 months. I never smoked cigs, drank or used other drugs so I havent had to quit anything else.

I am excited people! I thought I'd share this with all of you since you are like my old stoner family!

I have my first ultrasound and check up on the tuesday coming up. I'll get to see how many heart beats there are (hopefully one, but with my luck there will be 4 haha).

seeing the beginning of your beautiful baby is one of the most special things you can experience, i can clearly remember my wifes first ultrasound/scan even though it was over 18 yrs ago and that is quite amaseing as i have a typical stoner memory and can't remember hardly anything from last week LOL.:D

And my dad was in the submarine service and they made everyone take vitamin E to help offset problems associated with low oxygen levels. Smoking lowers your and your baby's oxygen levels. I took vitamin E through both my pregnancies. Vitamin E is supposed to also make your skin stretchier- important when it comes to delivery time!

You should add hemp seed/ hemp seed oil to your diet- read this- (the hemp seed part is at the end)

I wouldn't believe that. Smoking anything is bad for you and probably your baby too. Why is your pediatrician encouraging you to smoke especially during pregnancy? Why would you want to take a chance anyways, remember you are thinking for 2 instead of 1 and you can't tell me that none of the hundreds of chemicals from the smoke will get to the baby.

I heard it was OK to take cannabis while pregnant. To be honest I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be, it seems to be pretty much good for everything really.

Any reports that state otherwise are probably biased and prejudiced.

Of course, I'd cut out that nasty tobacco stuff, and probably just eat it or vape it.

I posted something on smoking while pregnant about a year ago. Smoking itself is the worst part, carbon monoxide.

Edibles are okay though! And vape!

Moms emit endocannabinoids when breastfeeding to promote hunger for the baby to feed, so it's not like the baby's not going to get exposed to it anyway.

The bigger problem is that when this behavior is condoned it becomes acceptable, sorry it is not acceptable. We just don't have the resources to pop out babies on a whim which is just one reason why this behavior is unacceptable.

I think Reb is here for acceptance, another reason we should not accept this behavior.

I don't get why you guys are bringing the "teen pregnancy" issue into this. She didn't come here looking for our sympathies for her getting knocked up. She sounds like a pig in shit right now. She is clearly making lemonade out of this situation. Obviously she understands the consequences of what she got herself into. So her plan didn't work out, maybe made a mistake and now there's a baby on the way. But it's going to happen sooner or later. Being financially stable does not guarantee your child is going to grow up to be a good person. She'll take care of it. And if she doesn't then ya'll can have at it with the don't get preggers story. But she is innocent until proven guilty.

Having a baby is the most wonderful thing that we can experience. It is the reason we're on this earth. So let her enjoy this and leave the politics and statistics out of it. We stoners are different than regular society, never forget that.

You do need to stop smoking though. Everyone should. We invented vaporizers there is no need to smoke anymore. Hello.

No he didn't cheat on me, we were fighting for a little bit when we first got together but we talked it out like adults and have been fine since. I didn't plan on getting pregnant, I was even on the pill but it happened so I figure make the best out of it. I am for womens rights and abortion but I myself could not do it.

And regarding the smoking thing, yes I should get a vape and/or make edibles. My mother smoked with me and I got top scores in school and was sent to a private charter school for gifted kids. I've always worked and have never gotten even a speeding ticket. I turned out okay. Plus it helps me keep my multivitamin down because it helps with morning sickness.

Okay, so not that all that fun is cleared up....

It's so good to see you are taking initiative in the matter. I'm sorry for the way I came across... I just get extremely heated over this issue. Just because there have been perfectly healthy babies born after the mother smoked, as in your situation, it does not make it okay. medical research and understanding has developed so immensely even in just the last 20 years.

Okay, my ranting is over. I hope it's obvious that what I said is in the best interest of your child. I believe you and your fiance will do a great job raising your child. Im especially impressed that you didn't respond with a big "fuck you", though I probably deserve it.

There are a lot of mothers out there who just don't care and would keep on smoking any way. I'm so happy you aren't one of them.

Readin' some of these reminded me of a picture that was taken of my mom when she was preggo with my kid brother in the 60's...She was as big as a house with a smoke in one hand,a drink in the other,and a big shit eatin' grin...She's 74 now and still drinkin' and smokin'...He graduated Phi Beta Kappa in college and went on to get his doctorate in psychology which is what he does for a living now...He also used to compete in body building competitions(the whole shaved body thing,lol)...
