headshake tangles with organics too

what's good everyone? i'm a busy little bee today. doing work for my boy irydyum and myself. things are peeking up for me. back to soil and trying my hand at orgaincs after seeing how the biobizz lineup treats the ladies. with that being said let's jump right in with both feet.

still running under the 400W MH, although a 600W, air-cooled HPS is in my future! *crosses fingers*

for the soil i'm using biocanna bioterra. it's organic of course. biobizz nutes all the way. biogrow, biobloom and top max. simple and easy.

i can't even tell you how many of each type of lady there is in the tent at present. there are something like 14 of them and they break down something like this. 4x OG kush, 3x wrecked homicide (killa, i been turning boys on to your strain and they are loving it!), 3x dinafem white widow, 1x diesel....and i guess my numbers are off somewhere. i'll have to count and get back at y'all with the definitive numbers.

pic 1/3- all OG. they seem to stretch pretty fucking bad. nothing in the tent stretches anywhere close to the OG.

pic 5- wh close up. this strain throws more trichs faster than anything else in the tent! it's pretty ridiculous!

in the batters box i've got many a clone. there are 6x diesel, 5x death by purple (the plants these came off of will be transplanted and placed into flower today), 6x trainwreck, 2x ams, 2x church and 2x OG. there are a box of genetics i've yet to touch as well. and thanks to M.P. some chemdawg should be joining the groups shortly!

also, i've purchased a new pH meter. (the same one i mentioned before for those of you that are headshake afficianados!). it's an oakton ecotestr. it's pretty sweet. it auto-cals, is water proof, seems to be dead on, doens't need to be cal'd all the time and cost $70.

and finally, there are a few strains on the to get list. well okay, way more than a few, but a few that will be acquired in the very near future. there is querkle and jilly bean from tga sub-cool and dj short blueberry (or true blueberry, not sure of the difference as of yet). also, there will be some AFs to start playing with as well.

just reading through this....Bushmaster works great for keeping OG from stretching too much...3ml/gal in the first week of bloom...increases yield also! :thumbsup:

how far into flower are the girls? looks about 4 weeks to me! :D

i took a bunch of pics two days ago and thought i would post some up here as i've been a bad log keeper as of late.

so here ya go......

this first batch is the lone diesel in flower. she didn't stretch AT ALL after being flipped. she has a juicy fruit gum smell with some spicy undertones. the strain itself has been a pleasure to work with. she clones really well, stays short and squaty, takes well to topping and grows like a ball! this one is from g-13labs.

all the close ups are just random shots!!!

man, i never would have thought that a kush plant would stretch as bad as these girls do. they stretch worse than anything i've EVER seen! hopefully they fill out between those huge internodes. the huge one in the back and the one in the front, right are ~two weeks behind the other two.

killa, i think your work speaks for itself. these ladies are by far the most trich covered girls in the bunch...not to mention out of any strain that i've had the pleasure of growing so far! they also have some of the biggest nuggets starting to form. same intense lemony smell (as should be seeing as they were clones). amazing. if i can get a couple of successful harvests under my belt i might need some permission to breed some of these bad bitches!

these ladies show great structure. they seem very similar to other breeders WWs. go figure. they are covered heavily in trichs at day 28! nice and squaty. should be one huge cola per plant.

the last pic is 2x death by purple and 1x greenhouse white widow. i'm thinking of scrapping the GWW as it looks super shitty. i know it's the soil, i put it in some cheap landscaping mix as it was the only thing available at the time.

i don't have pics of the re-vegging OG that the pig got her chompers on or the diesel mom that is ridiculous. i'll get some of them up though. they are both going into flower as soon as i an find room! the ENTIRE 4' x 4' tent is stuffed to the gills.

and hopefully there is an air-cooled 600W HPS in my future!

Little off-topic if I may, just saw something about G-13 Labs where they were advertising Pineapple Express, and ripped off the picture from a grower in another forum :wtf: Pretty shady if you ask me, but the Diesel doesn't look too bad. How long did you veg it for?

as far as vegging the diesel, not very long. i would have vegged it for longer, but i was trying to clear out space as it's been very busy around this way! i'll get a pic of the mom up, she's a ball of dense (hopefully) goodness. i haven't heard about that pic rip-off, but if so that is super-shady!

what's good everyone? sorry for not getting some pics up sooner. life has been hectic lately and i've been unusually tired. not sure what's up there. anyhow.....the show goes on!

in veg their are a shit ton of plants. too many to name by number, but i've got pics so y'all can figure it out! lol!

on the list though is og kush, trainwreck, church, ams, diesel, sierra kush, silver spur and some supposed purple skunk. anyone ever heard of purple skunk or know anything about it? i got a pot of about 6 seedlings for my birthday from my father in law. he said it was purple skunk. not sure, but i hope it's real. lol.

flower:
in flower there is some og, diesel, death by purple, white widow and some wrecked homicide. most of the ladies will be getting chopped in the am. all but four, 2x og, and the dbp and the diesel.

one og and the dbp are about 2 weeks behind the batch getting chopped, and two weeks behind that is the og that the pig ate (which is huge now!) and the diesel mom bush.

i will them be flowering out all the shit in veg, minus the purple skunk (still seedlings) and one diesel, one og, the silver spur and sierra kush and possibly one church and tw. those will be kept as moms. after that stuff gets flowered out i'll be running only one strain at a time to try to get some stuff dialed in. i'll be running the silver spur first.

i think that about gets us caught up. the plants getting chopped will be going down on day 55 (i think). mostly it's just to get things moving along. they are looking amazing though.
