I'm surprised the guy's still alive! I remember high school antics...
Yeah, he's got like everything he could have against him, against him lol. I do think its fucked up that he wasn't able to move, and the principal sounded like a total tape recorder, lol she probably called the previous principal and was like, WHAT DO I SAY!?!?!?!
-C
He wouldn't have lasted long in my school. I can't imagine anyone teasing him..lol
The only things funny about this are the morally challenged who think its funny. I've worked with the Special Olympics and seeing developmentally challenged compete in a number of athletic events and see their smiles when they accomplish the smallest achievements and get a medal shows some there is a human inside. Try working with developmentally challenged, and you will see how fortunate you really are. Comments like this just show how degrading some can be over an others misfortune. You should count your blessings that it doesn't happen to you. It would be a fitting punishment. :wtf:
hahaha......leave it to gypski. John Sewart spoofed this later that same night. That whole title was hilarious.....leave it to some overly sensitive baby to ruin it for everyone. ITS A JOKE!!! How many more strikes could that poor kid have? So sorry to gypski.....I forgot to say earmuffs didnt I dear?
I guess that makes it right??? John Stewart and the Daily Show must be getting hard up for laughs to pick on the disadvantaged. Being developmentally disadvantaged is only a joke to sicker people then they are. :wtf:Quote:

He seems just as intelligent as his mother Imo. I would say his mother tells herself he is special needs because he is gay, it probably helps her cope small town logic is my guess. Watch the part where he speaks for himself. That is not typical for someone that would classify as challenge. Asperger's Syndrome maybe but were not talking Down Syndrome challenged.
Im sorry.......but ANY story is gonna shine unwanted attention on this poor kid. Seriously......NOT ONE adult in this kids life told him what was gonna happen? I bet his parents are WIERDOS.

An' quit discriminatin' Brah!
Da kid ain't sick!
This is his 15 minutes of fame, and it, is freakin' funny!
Let him have this.
When that reporter wrote;
"Even in 2010, growing up gay isn't easy. Add in the complicating factors of being a mentally challenged, biracial guy who wants to wave around pom-poms in a small town, and you have a recipe for the most hellacious high school experience in Eastern Washington."
I thought, that poor kid.
But it's still damn funny, even to sweet old farts like me.:D
With deliberate indifference to political correctness.
Wee, itty, 'zard
Well, the only developmentally challenged person that I know of that is actually funny is Sarah Palin. Now she's funny. :D
Why are so scared of sarah palin Gypski? I couldnt live with so much hate and intolerance inside of me.....unless I only believed freedom applied to those who aligned themself with MY beliefs and my beliefs alone. Like......freedom of speech is AWSOME....unless its something I dont like then it should be banned!! You folks are just as bad as the religous right......just far more pious and snooty. Thats alright though.....it takes a village to raise a child.
Isn't it fucked up you have to witness something to prove that? No shit there is a human inside, its just a slower, less functional person, that happens to be amusing to watch. I've made friends with plenty of mentally challenged people, smoked with a couple. My aunt teaches them.Quote:

Like I said, I worked in a group home with those people both male and female. I, along with other staff had to do most tasks that we take for granted for them. Like sometimes bathing, eating, and directing them to keep on tasks they can complete and occupy their day. I may have laughed at some of their antics while working with them and laughing with them, because they do have a sense of humor within them. But I don't laugh at them. And they all hated to seem me leave when I left.Quote:

Afraid of Sarah Palin???? You have got to be joking right? You can bring up this stuff, and someone can't comment about Palin or draw a comparison? She's a big fucking joke, and those that believe her bullshit are just as developmentally challenged. Even more so then this person wanting to be a cheerleader. He has a reason, he's disadvantaged mentally. Free speech and thought right? :DQuote:

Having worked in the medical field for many years, we joked about that stuff between ourselves, but we still had the compassion and respect for these unfortunate people. Count your blessings. Try living with one as your child.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew that shit was funny as hell. Thank you to all the feelings based martyrs for standing up for this poor kid.....I know I picked on the kids that ran and told the teachers in school....but I was such a big meanie and stupid head....I sorry now. :(
and for the internet shrinks....the TITLE of the post was " Funniest NEWS HEADLINE..".......nobody said this kid was the joke. I am glad however that since I mocked the reporter who labeled this poor child, someone thinks that means that apparently anyone who thinks its funny is "uncomfortable with the handicapped." Is that a joke? It simply must mean those people or me are handicapaphobes? Kinsey would have been amazed at that conclusion watson. Nice try in labeling me. That article was HILARIOUS:D
he's so coordinated and graceful, surely he is cheerleading material
