Using 4x40watt FLs along with 3x26watt CFLs for now.
Seeds taken from fire bud and the first two popped up out of the ground today so I decided I would start a log.
Soil is 100% organic, compost and such.
I guess I will start off with my first picture! :D
It is also my first grow so im not expecting anything to go as planned.
Im going to take a picture of the runt tonight.
Plant to give pictures everyday.

The one that I call MiMi is the better looking one. Looking very healthy, the other one or the runt I call Lush :) I thought it would be nice to get them names. Anyways im trying to get foxfarms ocean forest soil and grow big nutes.
Maybe some more lights and some mylar and some more stuff on friday.
Advice on products would be great im getting 170$ on amazon as a birthday present.

I figured it was, i want to transplant it to better soil soon. Just worried about shock. But that soil is way too high in nutes. And is it okay if I use sand instead of perlite (Not beach sand but bought sand)
I just woke up and I can see the 2nd set of leaves coming in. :) cant wait to see what it will look like.

Transplanted them into two separate pots because i was afraid of their leaves running into eachother and used the same soil so i dont think they will go into shock. Doing very nice, both have second set. :)
I noticed the stems kind of look purple, is this a bad thing?
The stems actually look like a red.
I am getting a HPS/MH setup in a week or two,
Its kind of low quality but unless anyones willing to give me 10 bucks on amazon i cant get the good one but it will just have to do.

No big deal on red stem.
The big deal is, they are in the same ground, spaced by couple of inches. Separate them right now before it's too late! they won't have sufficient room to grow!
NO on the sand, perlite dude, find some.
Take couple of minutes and read my grow man, worth a look. Very simple grow. CFL, SOIL, Organic nutes. Except for Big Bud.
Anyway, with your camera, put it on macro mode, with flash. try not to move too. It'll make better pics for us to see!

Found out how to use the macro! Really helped with the pictures.
Lush is doing just as good and MiMi and they both smell incredibly dank dispite their small size.

I just got better soil and stuff, including perlite and peat moss, hopefully plants wont go into shock.

Im thinking about making my grow bigger actually maybe not, depends on how they react to the light, and it wont be HPS it will be MH during veg.

Mine is probably a bit smaller because of my shitty soil I was using. Had way too much nutes in it.
Day 7!
Okay it has been a week and I guess im okay with my results. They wernt the best but they were good for my conditions. Now that I have better soil I hope they will do better themselves. Now Lush aka the runt is actually doing better than MiMi. Lush has a 3rd set of leaves coming in already, I dont know if this is normal or not because the stem is so small but is she just bushy or should I be worried? Anyways I do have my flash on but my flash isnt the best because its located at the top of my camera. I will try for better lighting next time.

Bad news guys, Mimi has not grown AT ALL, i think she is in shock from the new soil. I didnt bother taking a picture of MiMi. Lush on the otherhand has done extraordinary over night! Looks like we got some nice 3 pointed leaves coming in. Got a picture of her, tried moving away and using flash but i dont know how well it helped.

Its a super strong light but would it improve my growing at all?
Nevermind I found out it would just make things really hot.

I need some help guys! The end of the leaves at you can see in this picture seem a bit off, is this normal? If not what do i have to do. Shes still growing quite well though! :D
