It seems that most people are now blaming the democrats for the current state of affairs, but that isn't totally true. It has been the GOP and the Bush administration that is the real blame for the current state of affairs. When the GOP had control of both houses and a Bush presidency, all the negative things that we are experiencing were put into motion. No party but the GOP Party has tried to bring this nation to its knees.

Clinton left a surplus with surplus projections into the future. Will they work now, hell no. The reason being the GOP enabled the robbery of this country and then use rhetoric to try and cast the blame. Are Democrats blameless? No. They didn't fight hard enough and fell for the War on Terror and invented cause to enable the collapse of our economy and now you see the banking industry is going to stick it to us again. The true leadership of this country will show itself if bankers are allowed to award bonuses to those who brought about this demise of our General Welfare.

The bankers rightly deserve to have 90% of the bonus monies to be paid in taxes. Who places them above the rest of us who are on the brink of financial disaster? None other then they themselves. They used our money, robbed our money, and they expect to go scot free? This issue alone will separate the men from the boys, not healthcare, which should be available to all Americans. Not bankers fucking everyone at every turn.

Time for the Democrats to step up to the plate and actually do what needs to be done, and heads should roll and the CEOs and the rest of the financial elites should be filling the vacant spaces in prison that will be opened by the release of non-violent drug war victims. They should not be allowed to talk their way out of the destruction they have wrought.

I think part of the problem is Americans keep looking for the easy way out. An example is the bankers. Rather than save there money and pay cash for the things they need its just easier to let the banks save the money then we just pay them a commision for there service. But it becomes addictive. Most people need a mortgage to buy a house or a new car and so it starts there. Then they see how easy that was and they start getting some credit cards, geez that was easy lets go buy some stuff and before long you're trapped.
I payed cash for my home, its not easy but it can be done.

Why would I type all that out and waste my time when you have argued with me on several other treads over the same subject. Upon which you told me you were an afghan vet. Get real I could careless about some fake prick here on cannabis.com. Get a life.

If ya dont believe he is a Vet its pretty easy.....have them post personal photographs from the theater of combat and get their unit #.....its VERY easy to crosscheck that stuff. Yeah you can read what the NWO is and about how its evrything from the rothchilds and buildiburgers, secret societies of devil whorshipers and they set up and funded the UN and all that shit from babylon all the way to now. I wonder why anything other then cannabis activism and horticulture is even present on this site. Most that post in politics seem to just like to argue. Good thing there is still people who can grow herb and help others here, or this site would be toast!

Because some people get high to eat hot pockets and play video games, while others like to get high and talk about the world we live in. What better than a cannabis website to meet people on that level.

The child like bickering on here is unhealthy IMO. People that only post in the politics section seem to play a "cut and paste" politico stories debating game. It is hard to see any truths on any side when you have to look past people being mean to other people while trying to voice their chosen agenda. It is not as if each person is even interested in a new view or thought of another person here if it should dare go against what they already firmly believe in. Its like pushing a rope...Understandably things get heated but then things get out of focus and people show how shallow and mean humans are. Constructive political discussions are just about rare here. Not directed at anyone just a thought..
