Harvest Time!!!!!Help from experts!!??

Hi growers all over the worls....
I think my ladys are ready for Harvest....but how i will be sure of it???

i see red pistils everywhere after flashing some pistils turn dark brown....
i see clearly with my eyes the olitttle white diamond thinks on it and its alot
but on of the tops is not ready!!!
Should i harvest the lower ones or they will get a little bigger in yeld if i let the ladys one month more ??
or i wll destroy it if i leave one month more???

You need to look at the trichomes with a small microscope, not the pistils. More info here: Text

When the trichomes start turning mostly amber, THC begins to degrade, and the plant begins to die, eventually the flowers will fall off...

If you can't get a microscope then you'll just have to guess. If you bought the seeds from a seed bank, they usually provide an estimate for finishing times, but this also depends on your growing conditions. For example, growing with CFL's will require a couple more weeks of flowering time compared to HID lights.

so man ...i see only some leaves inside the buds that already dead and yellow!!!!
but the buds is still fresh!!!!!!
i believe i should give them a 3 weeks more for more trichromes???
they still get fater i believe!!!!!!
one of them has the top not yet full metured but the lower branches are little buds ready ,,,,,,i think.....what about harvest the, and leave the top ???

Leaves will die as the plant takes it's energy from them, perfectly normal in the final stages, doesn't mean they are ready to harvest.

If the flowers keep getting bigger, let it grow. Once it seems that they are not getting any bigger, wait a few days and then cut it. I would harvest the plant at one time, because excessive trimming can stress the plant and slow growth.

I don't know what you mean about water condition. 2 weeks before harvest you should use only plain water. You can also stop watering a few days before harvest to make the drying process faster.

yes you can harvest the top and leave the bottom for a few more weeks.

i've heard of people using binoculars backwards if you have nothing else. though i've never tried it. you can get a scope decently cheap online, its WELL worth the investment.

so men at one lady i think i must cut the lower buds cause are small quite a long time same ~~~~
and ready i can see the trichromes with bare eyes but for the top i see the bud its not so ((fistiy)) as the smaller oner and i fell it needs some time moree
so whats up in cutting the lower and leave the top!!!!!!!


its one small lady hidden from the light cause the tallers ones!!!
now she will have more light you think she yeld something more on that tiny buds

I chopped mine (today) because 60-70% of the trichomes were cloudy or milky, and the buds hadn't really gotten bigger for about a week. I would also suggest folding the big leaves under some other foliage to get light to lower buds. Good luck.

SO binoculars is just fine to the opossite to see the trichromes...
mine trochromes now i saw was at least 80% completed as i see to the fotos here..........and as i see inside the binocular was super...
But at least i have to water it with no nutes for a week and a week with no water more??or it just fine to crop like this thx????

If you are growing in soil, flushing is not as important. I've never heard of a week w/out water prior to harvest, although I'm sure they would dry faster. I doubt it's necessary though.

for indoor cultivation !!!its wise to take care of the moon ??phase ??
it can really keep the juices inside when full moon???

Ok, as my advise would be not to harvest part of the plant. This will only cause your plant to concentrate on fixing the parts you cut off. You want the plant to grow and harvesting the lower parts will slow this down. I know from personal experience to not harvest just part of the plant.

After you see your buds puff up in the last 2 weeks or so would be a good time to harvest. Only because you cant see with out a scope of some sort and iv tried binoculars and it didn't work for me at all, so im unsure if that person had better ones then me or what. Its better to take your time, because i didn't once and got less of a yield, because i harvested the tops to let the bottom grow out. So, my biggest buds on top, didn't puff up and i lost yield.

so this is no to so good for the plant but for me xexe!!!!!
((quick drying smoke experience: good no aroma yet but good on the head and i believe when dry normaly will be much more better qquality smoke n head e guys???

i did it i saw trichromes and are 70% up and ready as the pics i see and i was really amazed of it!!!!!!

You shouldn't loose too much potency while waiting for the top to finish.

To quick dry, cut the buds into small pieces (like the size of your finger nail on your small finger), place them on top of a baking sheet or tin/aluminum foil, and put into an oven at a maximum of 70 degrees Celsius. Check on them periodically, could take a couple of hours depending on how wet they were before you put them into the oven.

But only do this when you have nothing else to smoke, and only one gram or two at one time! Slow dry and cure the rest of your harvest as the instructions on this site tell you: http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-faqs...your-buds.html, you'll be glad you did :thumbsup:
