Krusty the clown was able to make some promising advances in the field of dwc buckets. I will be using a hybrid system based on his concepts.
Vegging Grand Daddy Purple, Sativa Spirit, and Blue Dream under 600 watts in closet. I'm using Koi and Goldfish as fertilizer in an aquaponic system.
Putting my babies into 12 and 12.
Switched from aquaponic to hydroponic. Now I'm using chemical bloom nutes. I have plants in lavarock, and in clear plastic containers. I'm using a reservoir with a 400 gph pump and a garden spray nozzle on the end. I mix my nutes in there with ph down and then flip on the pump and spray plants. I have been having mite problems so I started a barrage of azamax.
Heres some more pics of the first day in flower. Plants were vegged about a month at this point. Still a bit cluttered in the grow room...
Grand Daddy and some others a few days into flower.
Flowering under 2000 watts.
Temp 82 Degrees day 62 night. Trying to get the buds to turn purple. I'm running 6.0 Ph at this point with over 1500 ppm. Spider mites screwing me up even though I'm using heavy doses of azamax. At this point I still had'nt learned that azadirachtin is systemic.
Just tried out some of the new smoke. You can see in the photo I am right as rain, proof that this medication works.
Hard to sat it is not when you got the proof.
Looking good man.
Yo check this out. They turning purple too! By the way I did'nt use Krusty's ideas for this grow, but possibly next. I'm using odor-eating cfl technology for odor control, and systemic azamax for pests.
How are the odor killer cfls working for you?
Looking good man.
Thanks, they are working great. I've known about this technology for awhile. It uses a hydroxyl radical and uses an oxidation process to eliminate odors, mildew, mold, spores, dust mites, dander, smoke, or any other particle which emits odor or has a charge to it. It destroys both negative and positive molecules so it differs from regular ionization.
You pretty much only want to use this technology for veg, or treat only the air escaping the room during flowering. This oxidation can break down the fragrance of the buds plus destroy the crystals.
You need 2-4 lights depending on the size of your grow. It will completely destroy the smell and I swear by them as I have been using them now for 2 years.
7th Week of Flowering
Brought out the purple in the GDP. Blue dream came out killer. Sativa Spirit developed massive trichromes to my surprise.
Cutting off those crystally nugs so I can medicate.
