i got a blueberry seed from at LEAST 5 years ago.. not sure which pheno it came off of but im gonna find out.;)

any way.. 4th grow. fire everytime... now im lookin for efficiency and longevity=)


dedicated veg room:
4'Wx2'Dx4.5'H and 4'Wx2'Dx2'H clone chamber + 3x105watt cfls 6000k, 5000k and 2400k full spectrum

dedicated flower room:
7'Wx5'Dx5'H +1000watt hps.




only using the 5000k cfl right now, comin up to the 3rd week of veg- 10". it shot up after the first feed so i re-potted it deep. now its 6" tall and showing first signs of side branches.

im going to be turning it into a mother and taking the first clone right off the top once the side branches are more pronounced and difinitively side shoots and not just wanna be's.

i will be lst-ing, fimming, and pruning as nececary to bonsai the little baby into being as short and bushy as possible. I will then take as many clones as possible to cram into my flower chamber. =)

the first clone im going to take off the top once side branches are pronounced will go straight to flower once it has established itself, at which point i will pollinate it with Dr. Chronic - Lowryder from a previous grow. just for some unstable seed stock

from then on its sea of green in my little room.




i will be experimenting with "water pearls". bio degratable, nontoxic, hydroelastic polymer as for use (in my case) in organic hydroponics as a soilless media.

ive had slight success so far. i just need to refine my design. worst comes to worse they can be used to keep organic media moist. it really seems to be good stuff and nothing has rotted off so far.:cool:




I also have 4 more lowryder seeds, 5 the purps, a few seeds from homebred AKxTop-secret genetics, known as Moe, Larry, Curly, OMGDIE, StinkyPinky, Hermit, and B. and a few more seeds of unknown genetics.

I am going to be starting seeds slowely as i continue through this series, being sure to document and label everything well.




As i continue through this series, i will be growing for potency and yield as youve probably already guessed, and here is where the co-op comes in!





YOUR JOB is to post theories and experiments to perform that lead to increased yield, potency, and ease of growth, while decreasing flowering time and expenditures (aka less nutes or less light[and so forth, cooling]).

i realize much of this is genetic... this is why im working with such varied seed stock.

in short... mixing genetics and advanced grow techniques to "create" a "superplant"; and method of growing it easily and quickly, to produce large yields of extremely potent cannabis flowers.

i do realize i could just purchase some great strains... but whats the fun in that :D

im not asking for advice on tried and true grow methods... this thread is for the "crackheads":yippee::yippee:

Any one who turns in a successful theory will be labeled by me as "The Law" and will receive 3 free first generation clones of any outstanding genetics+a copy of the compiled grow log for that strain.

after each form is submitted we will have short debate over the practicality and ease of each method, that will then be followed by an acceptance or denial of submitted experiment. after that point i will proceed with the experiments.

in the meantime i will keep you updated on my blueberry mother and the propagation and flowering of her cuttings using tried and true methods. :jointsmile:

just came into some diesel trainwreck... its dry as fuck. just how i like it. not too dry though. same guy i got the kush from before that.

anyway... it hermied... got a few seeds...also, might have come into some more sqft. ill let you know.

baby is lookin purdy. i put the light at an extreme angle to provide more light to the stem.

i also attemted a fim. once thats shown signs of success or failure i will take the first clone.

new growth is "bubbley" and dense. extremely soft.

older growth is a nice deep green, slight burn at tips. leaves stand at attention, serrations nice and crisp, yet still greatly pliable and do not crack if bent. they bounce back like a spring board.

i have pruned to prepare for cloning. allowing more light to the nodal growth while the plant prepares its regenerative cells for the healing that will be needed in the next few days.

i built an even smaller housing for the mother. since for right now shes the only one, i dont have all the lights on. so i kinda cased her in some white shit to keep light in. it works great.. just gets a little warm in there...

78 ambient 85 direct. its a bit arid so i spray her down with slightly alkaline water every few hours.

totally beautiful; wish i had working camera. as soon as it is fixed i will start with the pictures.

just gave her a total blast of CO2 enriched organic vapours... i saw the plant get greener before my eyes.. im sure its just the smoke

ps GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL!!! lol direct and ambient temps increased by a whole degree lolwut... take it easy people ill be back.:stoned:

extremely conductive to algae.... light penetrates deep into media producing a virtual hive of surface area. algae appearing down to about the 6th layer of pearls, being quite heavy on the upper layers. id assume it would continue down as far as the light could penetrate these almost invisible balls of water.

covering with mylar should fix the problem. i however will be using it from this point on with coco choir to measure its success..

simply mix with coco choir until you cannot see past the first layer of "water pearls" at least.



completely organic and easy to manage. simply add water and nutrients as needed...

remember to watch for signs of under/over fertlization as normal.. make sure to test the ph as normal.

so far ive had nothing but success at fert dosing. ph is constant 6.4

only time will tell.. and this experiment for now.. shall be left to stew.

Did you just transplant that? It looks like a broken stem base or main root to me.

nah it was lookin great after the transplant. the only thing i know happened to it, it got really hot in its cabinet... my cooling system took a shit. max temps that day were 115. it was kept well away from the light but ambient air temps way too high maybe?

anyways, i moved it to a cooler climate, mid 70s... i gotta go fix a bunch of shit now XD.. oh well.. as long as it lives and i learn from it. =(

How long since transplant? It takes up to 4 days to see the effects of a cracked stem. It's really easy to do.

Thing is, if you try to use nutrients to fix it you will kill the plant. If you did the same to others and they are fine, let it have at least two weeks to fight it out before you change feeding. Water only for a while and it will heal itself if it can.

its been over a week since transplant.. could be that if the root system got too hot could do damage? :(

u said you tried to fim it right?? did you give it nutes or transplant after fim? that could of stressed her out reall bad ... with this much stress from seed it has a good chance of going hermie

it started looking better the next day so im pretty sure it was the heat. only the top 2 leaves shown any signs of damage, and now the new set looks just fine.

there are more preflowers already.. no signs of it turning herm.

i havnt done anything special to the nutes..

if after all this it does not herm, then i will be in love... and await the day i get to inseminate her clone.

if i had a good camera id show you all the preflowers...mmmm pistils=)

ive had nothing but luck with these things until last week. even when i broke my 2nd plant at the base of the stalk, i had no visible losses. just a week of recovery and the stem quadrupled in size.

this is the first time that any of my plants have actually looked bad. but other then the 2 fan leaves that are a bit burnt, shes a nice squat plants. with side branches down at the base about .5 inch from soil level, and has a new set every inch up... thats 18 branches for a 9inch tall plant. if only i hadnt burnt it last week itd be a little more prolific and bushy.

well i know im not gonna put her back under the hps EVER again.. and before i take clones ima make sure i fix the cooling system and run hours of burn in before putting any plants in there with it. i didnt realise it could get that hot in there.

i tried to take a close up picture up the damage/new healthy growth. but my camera is teh suck....

im trying to figure out a solution to that particular problem right now... i hate posting poor quality images.

my old phone had a 5mega pixel camera with a microzoom.. so im trying to get it workign again now. when i point it at anything else it works properly, when i point it at the plant the greens start changing colors.. i dont get it. but im giving up for now. ima let it charge full and try it with it unplugged. who knows.

all else fails ill just take photos with a friends camera. wont be able to get closeups.. but w/e. it may take a while before you get any good pics of a good plant... haha. sorry.

top cleaned up now from the burns and side branches are pickin up the pace. 4 main tops and a 5th is catching up. pruned off all older growth to allow more light to reach tops. i already see where i wanna take the clone from. this thing is gonna be BUUUUSHYYYYYY

now its showing signs of defficiency.

i know that im using good ferts, as all my other grows have not seen this problem. so i assumed it was lockout, flushed and referted. still showing same signs.

i must have been really lucky on my other grows.. not one problem...

so.. older growth gets little splotchy brown spots, then yellows and browns. new growth looks fresh and healthy with crispy tips.

i seriously need a good camera to show you guys these things. _(;./)_

my whole house is filtered with a Hague Watermax, whatever that is. ive looked around to see what kind of purification system it uses, but ive been entirely unsuccessful.

im gonna hit the store tomorrow to buy a new ph tester just in case.

so after a few months of watching everything i did very carefully, it is now in great health.

cloned the top(which is doing very well), and will be cloning side branches soon.

i have made a decision though regarding my flower and breeding schedule. before i put any of her clones to flower, im gonna start a batch of 4 old school lowryders and, hopefully, ill get many seeds from it.

i will hopefully be getting a camera soon, sorry for no pics, but when the time comes you will NOT be disappointed.

first clone is looking perky, but im not sure when i should start fertilizing, lowest fan leaf is starting to go completely yellow.

took 3 more clones, and am going to be taking another 6 this week.

only 2 of the side branches didnt turn into anything prolific, but one of the bigger side branches has 2 offshoots that are taking over.

i figure as i clone the tops more and more side branches form i will have my work cutout for me trying to bonsai this thing.

but seriously, when should i start fertilizing the clones?

yo might not see, but larger fan leaves have vivid light blue hue, almost iridescent.

im about to change my grow rooms around since i dont have the number of plants needed to fill the whole flowering room, im going to use the veg room only for now to concentrate the light of the cfls. more pics up soon

ultrasonic fogger got the res way to hot. clone lived, but i decommissioned the cloner till i can buy pumps to turn it into an ezclone
