How are we also by leaps and bounds the most cultured and diverse of any country on earth? How do we have the mightiest army? Why do millions and millions of people risk their lives to reach our shores? Are they on heroin? Maybe they were drugged and put on rafts with their infants and cast out to sea?
Perhaps all the handout folks should seek refuge in other nations? People always say they are gonna move to Canada or Europe when things happen but they never do....why is that I wonder.

The original intention of the housing plan was distorted and oversight and regulations were removed during the GOP reign of congress. Those who couldn't afford to buy a house shouldn't have been eligible. Who, pray tell, cooked up bogus income info and statements to sell those homes to those who they knew truly couldn't afford them???? Read an article this morning where we are now bumped up against are debt ceiling limits imposed by congress, but they're going to bump it up another couple trillion just for good measure. $12 trillion in debt and no end in sight.

Leaps and bounds? lol.. Really not one of those questions have anything to do with the direction our country is heading. Yes we have the a strong military (war-games vs Canada aside ;) Really it is a nice place to live, our Higher Education system is at par with the other civilized countries of the world,
Moral corruption, racism, corporate greed, special interest groups with their claws in our government, special interest groups' lobbyists becoming politicians, slavery practiced under the color of law and justice, etcetc, this is all the norm and widely accepted. Spending billions we don't have then spending some more. If the country was a Business acting like this what do you think would happen. Honestly my world views are a combination of sociological, political and religious views and the environment here certainly doesn't warrant the essay I am attempting to not to reply with.
