Noob with plant problems with pics. Can you help? Please?

I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. First time growing. (medical marijuana license holder). Been lurking around a bit. Anyway, I have some fully rooted clones that have been out of flourescent stages for 2.5days now. They came to me trimmed as you see, and had some some coloration problems.

There are four different strains shown here. If you need to know the strains, let me know.

I set my light 3.5 feet from the plants First day. Second day I lowered it a foot. It proved to be to close it seems as the plants started curling upward and looked to be heat stressed. Now the light is back up to 3.5ft. The seemed to recover slightly.

I am using a 1000w MH bulb. What can you tell me by looking at the pics? Light bleached? Nutrient issues? Watering or PH issues? PH set to 6 anytime we water. These are the best pics I could get in that lighting enviornment. WE are hand watering using organic nutrients. Mounted in 6" hugo blocks, with rapid rooter pods.

We also have a 1000w HPS set up in that room also. Should we use it? Table is 4x8 and has 12 plants total on it. Room is 12x12ft There are all spaced under just the MH light right now and the table space being used right now is maybe 3ftx3ft.

We have the light vented and room temp kept between 70-75deg using intake/exhaust air from outdoors, and 30percent humidity. Room is inside a house, and the room has sealed doors and windows.

Any help will be SO MUCH appreciated. Seriously. Thank You!

PS we mixed the nutrients to the specs shown for seedlings. I am using "BOTANICARE Pure Blend Pro Grow" organic nutrients. Watering once or twice a day with PH balanced (6) mixture with distilled water.

New growth in center of plant comes in yellowish. Tall plants or wide spread out leaves seem yellowed.

you made it real easy for me, when ya said distilled water ... not good, bad ... your leaves are showing a magnesium deficiency ... add 10ml of Cal-Mag+ per gallon of water ... not distilled ... plain tapwater, let it sit out overnite, the chlorine evaporates ... good luck :smokin:

Thank You! I tried that and we will see what happens. Any other pointers? Do I need to add anything else besides cal-Mag and my nutrients ever?

So far so good Reaper! They look alot better today. Your a life saver. Thanks for responding!

After I added a second 1000w light, the leaves seem to be yellowing on the new growth, and the old growth is in general bad health.

Alot of the photos show old light burn/stress, that was cured, and kinda came back. Now new growth is yellowish? You can see it best on the largest plant photo. (pic 1 and 2). I did give them nutes and water about 4 hours before the photos, so maybe it will get better. The plant still is gaining alot of new growth. Yesterday my room hit 85deg for a couple hours, and since than they seem dry and yellowed out a bit, but could be the new light too.

What am I doing wrong? I have them in a 12x12 room on a 4x8 table using only the center of the table. 12 plants. two 1000w lights. 1 MH and 1 HPS. Temps are stable 73-77deg humidity is around 30% and there is intake exhaust fans and a small fan blowing on the plants for cross winds. The plants dont seem to be getting to hot.

They are 1 week old under the big lights. Got them as clones a week ago and eased them into bigger lights. There is some minor drooping as well as leave tips pointing downward.

Some of the yellowing is exaggerated by the lights or my camera setting. (pic 3 and 5) Pic 4 is the best of my plants, its proven unkillable. Pic 5 is the worst of my plants, but new growth is evident still. One particular plant has 3leaf sets, and 4 leaf sets, and 5 leaf. Mutant? Hermie candidate?

Any help would be great! I love this forum, and will contribute when my knowledge is up to par.

did you soak the rockwool cubes befor you used them?

Yes they soaked for two days. Im not sure what the issue is. The new growth was yellowed, now its got some spots like calcium deficency. What mixture should I use for the CAL MAG. They are not quite seedlings, and not quite vegatative plants. I am flushing the plants now so as to start over with the PH and the nutrients. Any suggestions before I loose my babies?

Going with Nutrients, and the Cal Mag at the accelerated formula strength, and superthrive. Unless I hear otherwise. Thanks Guys.
